My girlfriend and I just moved to Pittsburgh on July 2nd. We never visited but fell in love with it right away. Such a beautiful city, and we can’t wait to explore more
Dont be afraid to explore outside too, look up a small town called Volant, its a great day trip to Amish country. And theres much more out there, welcome to the burgh.
Pittsburgh is love! I find the people here friendly and more so when compared to the previous city I lived. Pittsburgh is clean and beautiful. It has art, culture and education.
If you haven’t been ,come on dahn and enjoy our city n’at! Oh and don’t go to the market square Primanti’s, go to the original one in the area called the Strip District. Better quality, experience and atmosphere! Don’t waste your time at the mattress factory or the cathedral of learning, instead go to Pittsburghs historic amusement park, Kennywood! It’s only 15 minutes from downtown nestled in the great suburb of West Mifflin🖤💛🤟✌
For me, especially if you're there in the summer, Kennywood Park is an absolute must do. Between the classic coasters, old school games, and the Potato Patch fries, I have so many fantastic memories there.
So Kennywood is a seasonal park, mainly open from Spring through early fall. Not really open during the cold weather season. The closest you'll get to that is Phantom Fright Nights during the Halloween season, and I definitely recommend going for that event.
Never visited Pittsburgh in my 11 eleven years in USA. Few weeks ago just moved an hour away for work. Now I look forward to visit and do some fun stuffs there. Thank you guys for a wonderful video and the information. God bless you!
This is my hometown. I am so proud of Pittsburgh and it’s warm, wonderful people. I was born there and lived most of my life there. I try to get home as often as possible. I miss it so . If you haven’t been there, go. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
Some of the parks are great. Frick park and fall run come to mind, point park obviously is nice because of the point. Science center, sporting events are great, but some of the hidden gems in nature are incredible
I have been all over the world and truthfully and honestly I do love to come back to Pittsburgh yes it is a beautiful city and just the way the people do treat people you just I don't know what it is it's just something about how people are in the city of Pittsburgh how they do treat other people. And I mean yes no matter where you live we always have crime and whatever but it just seems like Pittsburgh just really is a nice city with people how they treat everyone very warm welcoming you know failing and that is so true when you come out of those fort Pitt tunnels and you see that City like that that is the most beautiful sight ever to see.
missing my town -- living in Ireland now. My recommendations: 1. Lawrenceville neighborhood, cool shops and great food. 2. An evening baseball game at PNC Park in season. One of the most beautiful places to enjoy the game anywhere. Get seats on the 3rd base side for a stunning sunset reflection on the city skyline. 3. Strip District market, more good food and fun. 4. The Andy Warhol museum is well worth a visit. Iconic American avant-garde.
Yes! Those are fantastic additions! So much to see in the city! We've actually never been to Ireland, but it's on our list of places we want to visit! Where are you located now? Anything you recommend we see when we visit?
4:50 yessss thank you so much for this video I live in Pittsburgh my whole life and I need to start exploring and getting out more and visit the places I used to visit when I was younger I'm 54 now and I want to start taking my 11 year old Chihuahua one more places I hope that I have a lot more time with her❤
Wow, some really good tips! The Three Rivers Heritage Trail looks like a very relaxing walk but the Mount Washington overlook was my favourite - wonderful views and always good to get a sunset if you can!
How could you miss the unique Nationality Rooms in the Cathedral of Learning? Hand - made classrooms done in the style of different countries done by Pittsburgh immigrants from that country! At Christmas time, each classroom has handmade ornaments from that country’s people!
we just went to Pittsburgh the week before last! LOVED IT! We had friends who grew up there show us around, but I still wish we had this before we went, too.
I love Pittsburgh! My fav city in America. Spent a few days in July and spent much of one day at the Carnegie Museums in Oakland. Unable to enter the Cathedral of Learning or the Chapel. Everything was closed off….disappointing. Found the former spot of Forbes Field that I am proud to say I attended before it was torn down. Pittsburgh is clean, the people and police very friendly, unlike my hometown of Seattle that is filled with crime, filth, and streams of hobos with their blue tarps panhandling on every corner.
These are among our top choices too! I recommend to others the Matress Factory over the Warhol museum. One thing I might add to your list is the Strip District.
Thanks Bob! Glad to hear we hit on some of your favorites too! 😊 The strip district is another *GREAT* area to visit, we love that part of town (and may need to make a separate video for it!)! It sounds like you really know Pittsburgh well! Are you a local yourself?!
@@SharingtheRoad Wow, these places are absolutely amazing! I love to go to these areas with my TV friends once in a while, and are considering doing a special intern this week.
I just went to Pittsburgh 2 weeks ago for a Concert and I liked this city. It was quiet, cute & a lot of sights to see. This coming from a NYC'er. I went to maybe 3 things on this list as it was a quick weekend for me but plan on coming back and exploring more. Thanks
Great recommendations, we made a spontaneous decision to visit Pittsburgh without having enough time to research where to go and this video came in handy and helped us a lot. Thanks!
As a Pittsburghian I can tell that these two are really beginner visitors. How u gon do Pittsburgh guide without the heart and core of the city which is the strip district? Or Andy Warhol Museum or Frick Museum, or Randyland. Pittsburgh Zoo, Kennywood? Mattress Factory? Gateway three river cruise, the water front... so many iconic places you've missed! If you want to experience Pittsburgh, get an experienced local to show you around.
Such a lovely overview of this fantastic city where I used to live 30 years ago. Sweet memories I have. Thanks for the video and greetings from Rio - Brazil.
Cleo! We're so glad you enjoyed the video, and we're glad you enjoyed living in Pittsburgh! Do you have any plans to visit in the future? And we just spent a few weeks in South America (Chile and Peru) and really want to go back to South America! We'd love to visit Rio, we've heard amazing things so you've definitely chosen some great cities! 😊
Wow what a wonderful view. You are making me want to go to Pittsburgh. 😁 Thank you for sharing this amazing video. Keep up the amazing work. You rock. And stay blessed.🙏👍🤗
We've not visited Pittsburgh. We went to Hershey and Gettysburg many years ago.. Definitely looks like an awesome place to visit. Some really great things to see. Maybe we'll get there one day.
Ohh wow you guyz are awesome.this video about Pittsburgh is really amazing im just like watching a movie.the footage is very professional.i was amaze really you deserve to grow more and more with this beautiful content surely your channel will soar high.have a good day.thanks for sharing us about Pittsburg
Awesome. I have always wanted to see Pittsburgh, its skyline and its verdant three rivers, the Art and Natural History Museum, and the university cathedral. And what a cute wholesome couple. --From Cambodia.
Thanks so much! We hope you can make it to Pittsburgh someday! We actually want to visit Cambodia someday too. We'd love to do a Cambodia-Thailand-Vietnam trip, as we've heard great things about the area!
I went to Art Institute of Pittsburgh back in '82 and loved it it for 1 year before I joined the U.S. Army. The People of Pittsburgh was very friendly. something that I was surprised compared to NYC. Pittsburgh will be my Second City.
This was a great video. Just got back from Pittsburg and you guys did an excellent job of explaining what the top things to see were. We all really liked Randyland.
The Heinz history center would be a great addition for a future video. I love my hometown. The parks the history and the multiple cultural treasures. Great video guys. Keep up.the great work. And please keep promoting our fair city. 💙💜❤
Super informative. If we find ourselves travelling that far south, we'll have to reference this again to make sure we hit these spots. The bike museum seemed especially off the wall... pretty sure we caught a glimpse of PeeWee Herman's bike in there. Love how you actually take us around and take the time to tell us about, and explain the sites. It's quite refreshing, and a much better format than the typical, lazy, musical image montage most channels put out. Almost like having an actual tour guide. Thanks for your visit to our channel earlier. If you ever find yourselves headed to Northern New England, we'd be more than happy to point you in the direction of some amazing spots to explore.
yay this is our hometown too! awesome video summing up the great things in Pittsburgh! i like your Pittsburgh painting in the background of your apartment too! ...also i never knew that memorial was for Mr Rogers -I never saw it up close and just assumed it was for the Steelers because it is in the North Shore! I'll have to go see that up close some time soon! Did you guys both go to Pitt?
So of course, we are giving you these words while sitting inside the William Penn Hotel after a picturesque day watching our Brewers at PNC and eating Primanti’s at the Point by the fountain. Fantastic day in your hometown!
Amazing new video guys. Your travels are always super cool. We have been few times in Pittsburg to see baseball or hockey games. Have a nice week end. 👍👍🚶😀
Great job on the video. I haven't been to Pittsburgh yet, so this will come in handy when I do go. You have really shown a lot of interesting places. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video footage and interesting. Thanks for sharing on TH-cam. I watched your video until the end. Really nice. Have a nice day and greetings from Austria 👍😊👌
Great vid, thanks for the explanation on all the cool things to see in Pittsburgh! I am from Indiana, just north of Indianapolis, and I have wanted to visit Pittsburgh for a long time, because there are a lot of movies that I have seen that take place in Pittsburgh, and I am curious about the city. So this video was informative and helpful to eventually plan a trip there.
We love Indiana! We actually were just up in "the region" in NW Indiana, and I've been to the Indy 500 a few years ago which I loved. The Ratskeller restaurant in Indianapolis might even be my favorite Restaurant in the USA. And thanks, I hope you're able to make it to Pittsburgh soon, it really is a one of a kind city! 😊
My beloved Pittsburgh ❤❤. A nice reminiscent of my childhood. I remember singing the Pledge of Allegiance in the kindergarten close to the Carnegie Center of science in the late 1960s. It was so bored to have a classs everyday and one day I found myself loudly weeping in the elevator. At least there was a young boy who shared my feelings saying loudly “ I don’t blame the kid. I just feel the same way every morning coming here but that I can not scream like her”. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow, it´s amazing! It seems to be more beautiful than New York city! Maybe one day I will take an international trip and visit there. I am impressed by the sights!
The Strip District on a Saturday afternoon. The streets are filled with people shopping for special ethnic foods and Pittsburgh souvenirs. There are a lot of great restaurants and bars for your lunch or dinner
This is really awesome... we are from india and currently staying in Pittsburgh and love this city... we also have channel in which we are showing all good stuff of USA to over audience... this explanation about city is awesome and helps us
Went to college out in that area. Fell in love with Pittsburgh while out there. Would love to move there someday. Great video and I enjoy these locations a lot. I also enjoy The Strip District including Heinz History Center where a couple floors are devoted to pittsburgh sports of which I'm a big fan, North Side y by the stadiums, the area around the convention center, and the West End Overlook. I haven't been to Oakland very much, but next time I visit I'll stop by there because those locations you showed there like the cathedral and Heinz church looked beautiful.
Nice professional video. Well done... We have never been to Pittsburgh but had an Aunt in Bethlehem we used to visit regularly... Wow, lots to see there.... Well done... Thanks....
I've never really heard much of Pittsburgh, but there are some really interesting spots there! Love the museum, and the bike trail seems like an amazing way to view the city. And the bike museum and Randyland sounds quirky and like a must-see for something out of the ordinary.
The Andy Warhol museum brings visitors from far and wide. There are times where there is no admission and on weekends they feature live entertainment. If you come here to Pittsburgh you must see this treasure. It would be like going to Cleveland without a stop to the Rock Hall of Fame or Boston without out at least a small trek on the Freedom Trail.
All such great suggestions, thanks Wesley! We might need to make a follow-up and add some of these to the list! PNC park might have one of the prettiest skyline views in all of sports! Such a magical place! 😊
@@SharingtheRoad thank you :), I'm positive it'll be magical! Especially with a few games of hockey added to the mix. Then one day I'll be back to see Pittsburgh in the summertime!
The Heinz History Museum is a must - especially for sports fans. Pittsburgh is Steelers Country, but the Pirates and Penguins also have some proud history. This museum does have a fee. And there is plenty of parking.
I was considering on visiting Pittsburgh one day in the future and I was told by some there's nothing there worthing it's visit, but this video proves them wrong and I would love to visit one day and it's a place where the first Jack Reacher was filmed.
I'm glad a fellow Pittsburgher is telling people where to go. Good job.

Really cool places to see. Sooo looking forward to visiting some of those places next week. Coming from Dallas, Tx!!!
The Pittsburgh Botanical Gardens, Fallingwater, Burgh Food Tours, PNC Park.
All such great suggestions, thanks Wesley! We might need to make a follow-up and add some of these to the list! PNC park might have one of the prettiest skyline views in all of sports! Such a magical place! 😊
Yes. Kennywood.
It really makes me feel good! Beautiful spot! Thanks for sharing! 🌅
Traveling to Pittsburgh from the UK next February, thanks for the great video, bring on the cold weather!
That'll be a GREAT trip! Pittsburgh is still magical in the winter. We hope you enjoy it!
Glad to hear you might have a trip to Pittsburgh in your future! It's such an amazing city! We hope you can make it there soon! 😊
The Strip is the old produce yards with fresh fish, veggie and ethnic food available.
Never been to Pittsburgh, but this video has me sold. Next time.
