Still using a 2015 MBp daily. Total capable computer. Intels Macs are now cheap and still under OsX security updates, so keep it going. Next year you can keep pushing using Open Core Legacy Patcher for more revent OS and plus, you can run Windows and Linux on them. Still really good computers
Yeah you right. I’m currently taking a Linux class, and most of my friends with an M Mac book can’t run the program for the class
@@HabeebNG I run both windows and linux on my MacBook with Apple silicon, using virtual machines. I personally use Parallels Desktop!

I've got a 4 port 2018 with similar 2 display setup for uni. Is an overlooked feature of the intel machines, that's not present on Apple Silicon, unless you go for a Pro or Max model. Excellent video - keep at it!

Def valid and can be used for a range of workflows esp pro photo & video editing.
Photo editing, yeah, but video editing. It’s really slow ngl. I use cap cut and it just start to slow down as soon as I lunch the app. When I start to edit, it goes wild with the fan, so I don’t recommend for one that’s serious with video editing. I’m using it for now cus I can’t afford an upgrade but definitely looking forward to upgrading soon.

A intel MacBook Air in my opinion is not worth it in 2023 but intel MacBook pros are still pretty decent machines right now
You are right, it depends on what you need the machine for. I’ve never been a fan of Mac Air, just cus the price is ridiculous for the specs until the 15 inch Mac Air. But the pros are always good to work with.
I personally have a m1 MacBook Air base m model. For basic college needs I would say it is pretty decent for general things, but If you want the best config you need more ssd storage. @@HabeebNG
