THIS is my band, and I'm from the United States, but so proud of my boys! I read they were asked not to perform this song any longer because the jumping crowd set off the earthquake warning detectors! I could see that happening! Their history is incredible...
Nice reaction. Bands from the 80's knew how to have fun on stage and get the audience into a show. So many bands lack that today. Just lost the fun part of the music. But now there's hope. The new bands from Japan have returned to having fun. Now we just want some bands from the US to remember how. Not that there aren't any but for the most part it's gone.
I'm jealous of Japan for having this band to themselves for so many years. The rest of us had to discover them later and live these times through old recordings.
_"WE ARE!... BABYMETAL!!"_ ok wrong reaction, sorry bross :V But anyway you get the idea and homage here, even with the "Dame Jump" from "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" song is a tribute to them. of course in this case they're doing the X with their arms. \m/ Everything is around Yoshiki-sama legend, he took out his neckbrace at the end, is the only safe moment in which he can't "hedoban" (you know about the neckbrace homage at Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! and many other concerts and songs) But like i told you some time ago, unitl you hear "Art Of Life" you won't know the full experience and meaning of X-Japan as a whole. I know is long but hey, i think is worth it at least once in a lifetime to experience such a beautiful piece of art ;)
Great reaction amigos This is a closing of a concert Done the right way Here is one point YOSHIKI The DROMER and PIANO He happens to be the most popular and most important member of X JAPAN Him and TOSHI THE LEAD SINGER FOUNDED X WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT 13 or 14 years old That is the main reason they ask WE ARE? Then the fans answer X BABYMETAL ALSO DO THE SAME YOSHIKI has written most of the songs and most of the music and arrangements IN JAPAN HE IS A GOD AMOUND HUMANS YES Every single one of them are revere and love ❤️ by most of Japan Specially the fans that are about our age That includes very powerful politicians As several Ex prime ministers Just saying 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🧨🧨🧨🧨🧨🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇺🇸🇸🇻🇵🇸🇯🇵❤️❤️❤️🌸🌸
I loved the reaction, you guys get it and I love it. Had to mention because I guess this is your first time reacting to this song (which is all fine) the audience is jumping in tempo during the whole song because the recording has a screaming beat at that exact moment that says "X!" so, since the performance is live, the audience is screaming at the top of their lungs and jumping to make up for the missing effect.
I first discovered X-JAPAN in 1989 when I spent a month on TDY while in the Army (picked up my Japanese SDF Jump Wings with my USA Jump school partner Keiji Mutoh (AKA The Great Muta) as a Thank You from Keiji for not blabbing my yap revealing who he was) and I've been a fan ever since...I have corresponded with Yoshiki a few times over the years and the next time he comes to the East Coast (I believe in self security and will not go to the West Coast as much as possible) we will be getting together to celebrate the fact that we have about the same amount of Titanium in our necks😉
I made a text of my own knowledge about X Japan, hoping it would have some insight youre new to. There is a band called X Japan, which is quite literally, the most famous band out from Japan, They are the godfathers of genre called Visual Kei (Japanese metal songs with crazy aesthetics, makeup etc) they formed somewhere around mid 80's and are still going, but they were absent for 10 years from 1997 to 2008, they disbanded in 1997 because their vocalist Toshi got brainwashed by a cult and forced to leave the band. They held (at the time) their last live concert named The Last Live, few months after their disbandment their lead guitarist Hideto "hide" Matsumoto died due to an accident while drunk (it was first stated that he killed himself, but the band members were very against it, cause of how positive hide was as a person) his passing broke the whole country of Japan into grief, his grave is still visited today and there is a guitar museum in his memory in Japan. His funeral caused mass traffic of grieving fans in Tokyo, numbers around 50 000. Some even took their own life while grief-stricken. Their former bassist killed himself in 2011, he was kicked from the band from unknown reasons in 1992. X Japan influenced the music industry in Japan as much as their conservative society, which lead to Rock music taking uprising in Japan and there is a way in Japan where they use names as Pre- and Post X Japan, on how much they influenced everything. The songs are mostly composed and written by their drummer/pianist Yoshiki Hayashi, who based a lot of the bands song from his tragic past. He was born in a frail and weak body, he wasnt meant to survive past his 20's yet he is still making music, he has been a classical pianist from the age of 4, he took up drumming at the age of 10, when he lost his father to a suicide. He started playing drums with such aggression that he was hospitalized and sometimes collapsed on stage due to immense pain and lack of air. Yoshiki has composed an anniversary song for the Emperor of Japan which he performed at the 10th anniversary of the Emperor. He also composed the theme song for the Golden Globe awards and has been taking over the music industry in rock music as in classical piano aswell. He also had a comic made by Stan Lee himself, named Blood Red Dragon, and his own Hello Kitty character named Yoshikitty, he was also a big part in many documents such as We Are X! and Yoshiki: My Story. Their past guitarist hide also had a solo career which was very succesful until his death in 1998, he had many documentaries about him after his death, but sadly many of them arent in english, nor subtitled. He was the founder of Headwax and Lemoned organisations and produced many smaller bands to bigger audiences. He is been compared to Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, in ways he affected the music industry in Japan.
Can you react to X Japan - Sadistic Desire from 93 ( th-cam.com/video/eR5UVOxraQw/w-d-xo.html ) It's a song actually made by Hide allthough Yoshiki mainly made X Japan songs. It also has one of his naughtiest solos
X japan - the most beautiful thing that ever happen in music industry!
