Update: Sorry about all the blurring in the 2nd half. It's against their policies to be showing analytics. TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS 👉have you considered trying out the Amazon Influencer Program??
I'm really happy to see your channel taking off and being able to maintain that growth for almost 2 years. You try new things and some might not work out as expected still gives insights for others. Being an entrepreneur comes with uncertainty in life path and outcome and no one knows where it takes you than a certain pay cheque with a job.
I was weighing whether to start Amazon Influencer Program until I watched your video and realized the geographical limitations and challenges. It's too much work. And hey, I'm a minimalist myself. I don't shop much and it's going to be hard to review many stuff on Amazon. You've saved me so much time. Thanks Dina!
Thanks Kenny! And glad to hear that this video helped you. Yeah, I didn't realize these challenges until I started actually working on it. I think the program could be really good for some people, but not minimalists who don't like to buy a lot of things 😂
Yes I think it could work, but also you'd have to make a lot of videos haha. And I'm not sure about relying on Amazon for full-time income, I'd want to diversify my income in some way too.
The items people buy are lower end. I buy computer components and other high end items so if affiliate, then 0.5-2% can add up. It depends on intent and people come here more for information than shopping purposes. The other is that there are cashback, airmiles and other sites so people may have looked at your items but clicked through these portals which pay up to 50% of this commission back to us. There is nothing wrong with your actual content in the influencer program but competing factors.
Thanks for sharing! As a Canadian, I tried this for about 6 months and decided it was not worth the effort at allll lol. The U.S. fashion and beauty girlies are KILLING it (I know this from when I used to work in influencer marketing in corporate) but the rest of us? Nah 😅
this is so interesting! I had no idea the influencer program was different from associates. It sounds like such a headache to switch between the Canadian and US Amazon websites.

Okay I was like why am I looking at a blur I would just prefer looking at you on computer and just discussing it. But overall good video very detailed
@@AlainaMartinLe Yeah I'm so sorry about the major blurring!
@@DinaLu great content, I appreciate you!
Ah I was wondering why the blur, didn’t know they have this policy in place. Overall good video Dina.

I really hope you will continue on your free time! I feel like you’re so well spoken and would see great results in the long run!
Thanks so much!! I might do it very occasionally hahaha
I can definitely see someone doing this full time and make a living off this. Just got to put in the work!

Nice! I appreciate this update. I was curious as to how the influencer program stacked up against Amazon Associates. 🙏
Thanks Hudson!!! Yeah, I think the influencer program is easier for the average person to make money with Amazon compared to the associates program.
Great video!
Thank you so much!

Oh wow nice!! How many videos did you make? Yeah, it's just a little bit more complicated in Canada and I think there are less products in general.

Oh yes totally! Thanks for watching!!
