To be fair, I don't specifically mean your channel. Some of the other SW What If channels also have a very forgiving Padme. It's just funny to me that I can go from a video where she forgives him after he kills children to one where she tells him to go away after...fighting with Kenobi.

having him be expelled from the order is totally justified, but I think Obi wan would still try and help Anakin in the aftermath, especially after learning what had pushed him to that point.

I agree. There's no way that Obi-Wan, after knowing the truth, would just abandon Anakin. And Padme was still saying there was good in Anakin even in the main canon, so there's no way she would've left either. I usually love SWG, bur this video felt off.
I think Anakin was treated a little too harshly here. It was made apparent he was manipulated, yet he is treated like an absolute pariah rather than be rehabilitated? I don't think Obi-Wan would go along with that.
Palpatine played his game very well. He didn’t have to lie to Anakin and tell him that the Jedi were trying to take over, the Jedi were literally trying to take over. He wasn’t pretending that they were committing treason, the Jedi were committing treason. Even before Anakin told mace That Palpatine was a Sith, Windu was already on his way to extrajudicially remove the chancellor from office. That’s what we here in the real world like to call a coup.
That’s illegal, Wind does not have the authority to do that…. Let alone murder the chancellor without a trial.
General Skywalker was not only doing his sworn duty to defend the chancellor against assassins, he didn’t do anything excessive. He disarmed Kenobi he didn’t kill him.
Windu they stormed into the room and made his intentions to take over the Republic as a dictator known to commander Fox, who inexplicably just went along with it for no logical reason.
Anakin royally got the shaft here ….. especially in a galaxy that Palpatine had been grooming to turn against the Jedi for 20 years. Remember, these are the same senators that cheered when Palpatine announced to the destruction of the Jedi….. Anakin got royally royally fucked over here and all he did was attempt to protect the supreme chancellor against assassination from the Jedi

Tbh, I imagine he would literally handle the fight with maul the same way he does in Rebels. By baiting him. XD That'd be a helluva sight, to see maul cut down by a Padawan that quickly.
The Order abandoning Anakin sounds par for the course for the arrogant, dogmatic Jed, instead of responding with empathy and a need to understand. The Jedi may not be outright evil, but they'll never be heroes in my eyes until they learn emotions shouldn't be suppressed and attachments give us purpose. They choose the easy way out with their code instead of learning how to have healthy relationships with their attachments and emotions.
Padme leaving was a low blow. Especially, taking his kids away. You'd be hard pressed to find any parent who cares about their kids to accept that so easily. Even among those who are calm, collected and not violent at all. That right there would send most over to the dark side faster than light.
I'll be honest, when I heard "And Anakin stood up on the balcony" my heart sunk. I didn't expect him to be thinking. Especially since the Jedi took over after blatantly disregarding the condition of the chosen one. As described, Obi-Wan noticed how disheveled Anakin was. When you're running off three days without sleep, you forget what reality is or what the consequences of actions are. A case should've been made for Anakin going insane due to neglect of the Jedi, and abuse of the Sith. The same trick could've been played on Yoda or Mace and have worked to a comparable degree. Not such that they turn to the sith, but that they can't think straight.
What’s messed up about this ending is how Anakin was the ONLY one who ended up having to pay for the faults of the Jedi, the Sith, the Republic and everything in-between. I can understand the Jedi discarding him as they never really wanted him in the first place, but Padme leaving him on read was just a buster move.

Was good up until the end. I don’t like how Anakin was the only one who got the end of the stick being abandoned and left in the dark by everything and everyone, especially by Padme. Basically telling bro that he’s on his own✌️and to figure it out.

If Padme was willing to stay with Anakin after Order 66 or the Tusken slaughter, I don’t see her leaving him for this. Tho I do think that after Yoda expelled him from the order Anakin would be like “I don’t want to be a Jedi anymore anyway, after all that I’ve done for the Order, you all treat me like an outcast even when I have put my life on the line to save most them including you three. And what do I get in return? You lie to me, you betray my trust, let those I love suffer, and you abandon me when I need you most. Dooku and Qui Gon were right about the failures of the Jedi.” The emotional damage he could inflict on them upon parting ways would be immeasurable

alternate ending, maul and anakin have a force conversation and discuss everything and end up having a saber duel in the minds realm the victor will be the master , and as they battle in the mind maul loses because he thought he was fighting anakin, only for anakin to reveal "that is why you losed i am darth vader " at that moment they wake up when yoda and obiwon are there with the trooper guards, and when they open the cell to talk with anakin vader says" execute order 66"

What if Revan wasn't found in stasis until the first year of the clone wars? That would mean that Revan in his prime would be alive and well, and Darth Vitiate's spirit would still be dormant since Revan didn't awake his spirit at Yavin.

Let’s go through every duel Obi-Wan and Anakin/Vader have had.
Obi-Wan Kenobi series - Kenobi wins a sparring match
Revenge of the Sith - Obi Wan defeats Darth Vader, nearly killing him. And would’ve killed him had Yoda not failed. Don’t tell me he was conflicted, I hate that argument. He just killed a bunch of children and destroyed everything he had known since he was 9. Obi-Wan is just a better duelist.
Obi-Wan Kenobi series - Vader beats Kenobi. Up to this point Obi-Wan hadn’t dueled in 10 years and was shocked to see Anakin alive.
Obi-Wan Kenobi series - Kenobi defeats Vader, nearly killing him again.
A New Hope - Kenobi allows Vader to strike him down. This terrified Vader after the fact, and Kenobi become more powerful than Vader could possibly imagine. You could argue this as either an Obi-Wan or Darth Vader win, but this was hardly a duel.
Anakin cannot defeat Obi-Wan Kenobi in a fair duel. Obi-Wan is simply a better duelist and doesn’t get nearly enough credit for his power. As far as feats go no one comes close to Obi-Wan as a duelist from the prequels aside from Dooku, Yoda, and maybe Mace Windu.
All this just to say I liked the story except for the part where Anakin beat Obi-Wan 😂
On Mustafar, Kenobi could not kill Anakin because, according to the code, he had no right to raise his hand against an unarmed man. Especially a seriously wounded opponent. Therefore, he just left him thinking that Anakin would not survive due to his wounds. Even if Yoda ordered the opposite. If Kenobi had killed Vader in the finale, there would have been no one to save Luke in Return of the Jedi. Vader also did not finish off Obi-Wan in the series you mentioned, although he had the opportunity. But at least Vader got revenge on his bad teacher for Mustafar. Anakin was only fulfilling the will of the force, which had its own plan for both the chosen one and everyone else, which it followed. According to the original script of the Kenobi series, Vader would have defeated Obi-Wan in their second duel according to the original script. But the vial was changed because Kenobi is the main character. Although it would be an interesting plot twist with two consecutive victories of the dark lord. Obi Wan wasn't any better. He just knew Anakin better than other opponents after long training sessions with Anakin. Although Vader's new fighting style was clearly new to Kenobi. One Jedi's surprise at the boomerang sword is worth it. In the Legends, Kenobi admitted that he could not have defeated Vader on the Death Star, as his opponent had grown greatly as a warrior since their last meeting. Moreover, Vader began to control his anger better, which Kenobi could not turn against the dark lord as it had been before. Luke was younger and had a better chance. Moreover, he temporarily succumbed to the dark side. Whatever Kenobi, who was already under 60 years old, would not have done to defeat Vader. If the Force wanted Kenobi dead, Vader could simply strangle him, do something physically, for example, or throw him somewhere if there was a suitable location, since the dark lord was physically stronger than ordinary people thanks to his cybernetic hands.
What If Grievous got away from Obi Wan but he was able to to put a tracking device on the general’s ship tracking the droid general to Mustafar Obi Wan informs the council and requests Anakin and The Bad Batch and Ahsoka and Rex along with Cody the 501 first legion 212 attack battalion and Clone Force 99 head to Mustafar to confront General Grievous and the Separatist council leading to The Battle of Mustafar.
What if Anakin/Vader *joined Maul* ? Both of them the failed apprentices of Darth Sidious, both of them feeling held back by their masters, etc. In Legends, a young Anakin secretly wanted to be trained by Darth Maul due to how powerful he was. The connection is there

This might be a cool story: What if there was no Chosen One prophecy, would Anikan be denied to train as a Jedi?, would Qui-Gon train Anikan himself? Love the videos, keep it coming
He probably would have. Since Qui Gon wanted to take Anakin as an apprentice and promote Kenobi to a Jedi knight. It's a pity death prevented him. The genie should never have brought Anakin to the order at all, as he must have known that the boy would not fit the standards of the temple, how the Jedi will treat him, fearing and distrusting Anakin. And it would be better if Qui Gon himself left the Jedi orden and took up Anakin's education himself, becoming both a father and a teacher and a more suitable interlocutor. He would saved Shmi, protected her, took them away from Palpatine, taking him away from the Chancellor and started a new life preparing the chosen one for his mission.

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Obi-Wan stopping Anakin from interfering in the duel between Windu and Palpatine getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we could all agree that Obi-Wan is one of the only people who could match Anakin in combat. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s:
1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling.
2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever.
3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this.
4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st)
I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

You know what was repeating in my head over and over as I was watching this? When Obi Wan landed in front of Anakin and was trying to talk him down, I just kept saying to myself "Just hug him you damn fool! You can CLEARLY see that he hasn't slept well, and he's never been one for following logic on the best days! Hug him, comfort him, reassure him, and let him know that he's not alone and he doesn't need Palpatine! THEN you can start talking to him about Palpatine being evil, because Obi-Wan will never let Padme die.
That could've defanged this whole bad end, I'm tellin' ya. That or he stabs Obi-Wan in the back, but in that case, Anakin will still realize that he's turned into someone he can't accept and not go to Palpatine anyway.
That’s the problem, Anakin truly believed Obi-Wan would let Padme die if her life, conflicted with the interests of the Jedi order…
He believed this, because that is the one continuous rock solid thread throughout all of Obi-Wan interactions with everyone, no one, and nothing is above his allegiance to the Jedi order, and he would happily have sacrificed a senator for the good of the order
Obi wan personally stood between Anakin and saving his Mother, he stood between Anakin and saving the Chancellor…..why would Anakin doubt that he would stand between him and saving Padme?
Nothing was more important to Kenobi than the order…. He’d do anything and kill anybody if the Order told him to.

What if Darth Vader DIDN'T block Luke's saber from killing Palpatine in ROTJ?
Great video as always! What's unique about this one is that it could've easily gone one of two ways: the route it took was reasonable, but it could have also reasonably ended up with Palpatine killing Windu and coming down to see Anakin fighting Obi-Wan. I'm sure Palpatine would've made it into a huge "you must choose between me or him" moment. Also, if Palpatine had managed to get there before Anakin injured Obi-Wan, further use could have been made of this and ended up one of two ways: Anakin giving in and eventually defeating Obi-Wan (kinda like Dooku vs. Yaddle) or Anakin resisting and fighting along with Obi-Wan to take down the likely still worn out Palpatine.
What if anakin fell to the dark side became his own Sith Lord during the clone wars it could show the power behind Sith Lord anakin and it would be a great what if the Star Wars galaxy

Honestly not a fan of that ending, Anakin didn't even kill anyone, and once again nobody realizes how long Anakin was manipulated to see Palpatine as a good person, and immediately write Anakin off instead of trying to get him help after Palpatine is gone.
Like this was good up until the ending, like Anakin really is just the Peter Parker of the Star Wars universe, constantly designed to suffer.
It's mainly because none of these What If channels likes the Chosen One prophecy, as it limits their personal story. Also they immediately see a distraught Anakin as already being Darth Vader, so they automatically give Anakin the vanilla fairy tale villain stays miserable ending. In my opinion though, I think these What If channels would thrive if they told original stories, whether set in the Star Wars universe or not. A lot of them are really good story tellers.
Legally speaking in this story anakin was lucky he wasn't executed by the senate for treason against the republic because anakin had knowledge at the time that sidous was the sith lord, was the leader of the seperatists, and also a traitor of the republic. If you help a traitor knowing they are a traitor then you are also a traitor and the jedi could of just of easily mentioned anakin as a palpatine collaborator as they had clear evidence of him trying to aid in the republic's takeover. Not to mention padme even giving a note was surprising since she would be well aware of how quick anakin was to forget this same man tried to have her assasinated on multiple occasions and the fact anakin was willing to look past that so quickly and not even ask palpatine why he did that shows severe negligence of character at best and selfish arrogance at worst.

Anakin didn’t do anything wrong here, the Jedi literally perpetrated a coup against the supreme Chancellor of the Republic, the author magically pulled some evidence out of his ass to justify their actions, but they literally had none in the OTL… Mace was on his way to depose even before Ann told him that Palpatine was a simply because Mace didn’t like him…. Everything the Jedi did in that office was illegal, General Skywalker is literally a hero and they’re fucking him over here
Next anakin gets banaished from the jedi order, Mace Windo believes Anakin can not be trusted after all and ahsoka follows

So tired of fics making Padme more important that she was, she was a story device act as a catalyst for Anakin’s fall.
What if farth yoga defeated greti Juan.
As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use mechaguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.
What I was thinking was that he used nanobots to remove scar tissue especially around the lungs and he would be dipped in bacta or bacta would be applied this would allow him breath which means he can meditate more deeply. And for the limbs, it is possible to make material force sensitive and I was thinking he make limbs skeletal looking like in attack of the clones but would then cover the we either grafed flesh from his body or flesh made from his blood and other ingredients like perhaps kyber crystal this would make the force flow from him easier and perhaps with the sith alchemy in the limbs making his force lightning more powerful. Basically an uber vader who is perhaps stronger than full potential anakin.
I highly doubt you’ll see this considering it’s been seven hours, but I would love to see a story where the Jedi send someone to spy on the separate council, and they find an audio clip of Palpatine talking to them and talking to Dooku and then took that to the Senate and got him removed from office before the clone wars even started

I’ll say. With the way Obi-Wan expressed his concerns for Anakin, I thought it would lead to a wholesome ending where AT LEAST ObiWan and Padme would help him recover from the manipulation in time. But nah. I won’t say they’re evil, but everyone really did him dirty.
Grevious vs Yoda would not be a close fight. And Grevious actually knew this, and so would probably run as soon as he saw Yoda.
I also imagine that anakin would feel utterly destroyed after padme left him. Remember, at this point he still thinks she is going to die in childbirth. He has no idea that the dreams were fake. So he won't get to be there in her final moments, and he won't get to take care of his children either. They'd be orphans.
If you ask me, Yoda would have been a better candidate to stop Anakin rather than Obi Wan.

Wow great video man as always I came up with a scenario that was almost identical to this one but the ending was very different in that after Anakin kills Obi-Wan out of anger and despair over potentially losing Padme Mace Windu is forced to kill him and is actually really distraught over it because while he didn’t care much for Anakin he never wanted him dead and after turning in the evidence about Palpatine’s deception which clears the Jedi of wrongdoing and in the aftermath some members of the Jedi order leave the order out of disgust over what happened to Anakin and even some members of the council step down out of guilt mainly Mace Windu and Yoda after realizing what their arrogance and complacency caused and Ashoka condemns the order and her and Rex and a large chunk of the clones vow to protect the republic and it’s people in memory of Anakin and Ashoka and Rex help Padme take care of Luke and Leia after she gives birth and to her the Anakin that struck down Obi-Wan was not the same man that she fell in love with and she condemns the Jedi that let everything happen under their nose which led to Anakin’s death but not the whole order and the ones that left the order made by a new order in the Outer Rim and settled on Tatooine in memory of Anakin.
I dont neccessarily believe things would go this way, anakin felt a lot of conflict whej it was windu involved so i don't think a pre mustafar anakin would attack obiwan, also the fact that no one EVER brings up palpatine being behinds the attacks on padmes life is again not really believeable especially obiwan, and finally padme would never have left like she did especially when you consider her attitude in the actual events its more likely she would give him an ultimatum than just vanish, sometimes these kinda seem more fanfictiony than true what ifs

idk man the ending wasn't that good. I feel like the Jedi and Padme abandoned Anakin, sure someone with his issues shouldn't be raising a child, but I feel like Padme wouldn't outright ghost him like that.

Padme canonically believed there was still good in Anakin after he did what he did in ROtS. There's no way she would've left him here.
