Now you need to do a session on basic stuff like the following:
- Which guitar pickups are best for sebene? Humbuckers or single coil?
- What is the tonal setting for a typical sebene sound?
- What effects and amplifier best bring out this sound?
- How is the sebene sound different from its predecessors and especially, the soukous sound? Any interesting history?
- Which is the best way to hold the pick and place your right hand for effortless plucking?
I loved the Moissoneurs de Kinvuka album from 2001 that may have been seminal and trailblazing with regards to the current gospel sound. Maybe that may not be popular among your fanbase, but I've subscribed and hope to one day see a tutorial from any of the tracks in that album
