I'm ivorian and my kenyan colleague used to tell all other kenyans in the company that Abidjan is like a big village. I never argued with him although i had been to Kenya 6 times When some colleagues were sent to Abidjan on assignments, they were shocked. I was their tour guide and i remember one them comparing one area to one district in Geneva where he'd lived 😂😂 I never argue on these who's better things, i just pray that God always gives peace to Cote d'Ivoire so we can accomplish greater things .
It's not exactly true. Our country is totally open to the world. Today, speaking English is no more seen like a barrier. A lot of Ivorian speak English very well.
