Those cars sold like crazy in their day, as they should have. They have the most comfy interior ever and it's color matched too. They also have excellent HVAC systems which is important if you live in a climate with extreme temperatures.
I had one of these as a company car back in the day. It was a dog but I loved it!! Makes me happy to see the younger generation interested in the old stuff. Great work! Happy Holiday’s!
Funny, many of the things you don't like about the car are the things I love about them. The different tan colors are mostly from time and fading. The technology of modled plastics back then were far worse than today. At one time I had a white 1987 with the blue quarter top and blue cloth seats. One of the most comfortable cars I ever drove.
That interior handle goes on with just one bolt. Not sure how your fell off. You'll have to use something like a flathead screwdriver to expose where it bolts in. Done it mant times when fixing my door panel

Amazing that everything works on the car. Looks like you got a great deal on a comfortable cruiser. These cars were everywhere back in the day.

Definitely don’t see these anymore. And you’re right, they were everywhere back in the 80. By the late 90s, you were hard pressed to find one.
