- This Biochemistry video explains about what is Chitin? and the structure of Chitin.
Chitin is the structural homopolysaccharide made up of N acetyl D Glucosamine molecules linked to each other with Beta 1-4 glycosidic linkage.
Chitin is the second most abundant polysaccharide on eath. It is found in exoskeleton of insects and cell wall of fungi.
Excellent explanation ❤❤❤
I REALLY LIKE YOUR VIDEO ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE EXPLAINING ,THE PROBLEM IS I CAN'T REALLY UNDERSTAND THE WORD YOUR SAYING :) BUT I UNDERSTAND WHY .ITS REALLY HELPFUL .THANKS :)
I am glad to help you! 🙂

Excellent explanation. Very clear English and to the point!
Super and clear explanation sir..
It's so helpful and thank you indeed Dr.
Excellent explanation, so simple, lucid and succinct, and your video follows the norm of the ICT video makings promptly, if you make such kind of video to all lessons in Biology or any biological subject, surely one day faculties are going to lose their job since (i) they are no more needed to teach the subject (ii) even if they teach it wont be that much easy for student to understand than your teaching
Thank you for your appreciation!
Awsome explanation,Crystal clear👌
Really wonderful video. It took me a second to accustom my ear to your voice but once I got the hang of it you were very articulate. Maybe just try to slow some of those big words down the first and second time you say them for anyone slower like me. I did want to ask you a question about chitin though- I’m trying to make effective fungal extracts and am concerned about what might be locked chitin walls that my solvents may not pick up. I know cooking mushrooms denatures the chitin, and I’ve heard mechanical means like grinding is effective for this too, but I cannot find a “boiling point” or the equivalent temperature for chitins break down, so I’m unsure what temperature id need to bring to mushroom to to open up those cell walls for my extraction. Any advice you could share regarding the temperature chitin breaks down, or the on the efficacy of mechanical means of accomplishing that, would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the awesome work!
So good
Thank you, this was helpful!

It is Homopolysaccharide
Hello Sandit. Thanks for you video good explanation. One question. How to extract Chitin from insect exoexquelet ?
This research paper will be helpful. www.researchgate.net/publication/315837008_Studies_on_extraction_methods_of_chitin_from_crab_shell_and_investigation_of_its_mechanical_properties
Sir app bacteria per full description digiyae please sir mujh requirement hain
Very nice
Thank you!
😊
Why brother u r recently not uploading any videos
The company mentioned as 97% in 1% acetic acid under solubility
Nice vai
Thank you!
Good👍

Good
Thank you!
Hi sandip, Want to talk to you
Hi Sagar, You can contact me on Facebook.
Why it's called beta not alpha nd gamma??
Alpha or Beta depending on the position of OH on anomeric carbon (1st carbon here)

How come?
im at that weird part of youtube again
Couldn’t understand a single thing you said
I wonder why you couldn't understand a single thing
TastyBunch: well, maybe you should make friends with foreigners. if you are constantly around people who only speak your language, that can be a problem for you; when you hear foreigners speaking english. i can hear him clearly. one of my best friends came from India when I was younger. also, i am constantly around foreigners all the time; so, maybe that is why i usually don't have those problems. however, if i do, i make adjustments to the way I am hearing. I focus on listening to them speak. afterwards, in no significant amount of time, i usually can understand them. practice listening. pretty soon, you will understand. time for you to add new friends.
Thanks Sir
Thanks sir
