Seeing the Western in the Hornby catalogue of early 80's got me into train spotting and also collecting OO models.

Nice one my Dad took me down to Twyford in 1969 to watch the Westerns go by and the rest is history off to Uzbekistan today rail trip then USA Empire Builder then back to Blighty forChampion special to Paignton. Happy days ( I hear the poor Western has got to drag one of those 50s around Britain from now on)!
