I bought my wife a 2015.5 XC60 with AWD, torque vectoring, and 20 inch Perillis. Talking about tied-down on the corners--what a great driving car! A recent poster on the SwedeSpeed forum said he just traded in his 2011 XC60 for a 2015.5 XC60, and he said there's a world of difference in the driving dynamics in these model years. And in just 3 yrs the XC60 will be completely redesigned.
Thanks for your comments but we're one team here at TFLcar. We're all working toward the same goal...to build the best possible TH-cam Car channel for our fans and subscribers. So thanks for the suggestion...but no thanks!
Any day. When i bought the XC60 i planned to get myself a Q5. But after testing them both for a day the Q5 was put aside. Although it looks good it could not even come close to the XC60 in handling, comfort or equipment.
Same. Went looking for a decent used awd suv for my wife to use over the winter and was recommended the Q5 but it felt like it was missing some power. Nice but it wasn't worth the bucks. Then we tested the R design XC60 and what a dang capable vehicle it was. Add their safety features, and it wasn't even close to us for comparison. No regrets on it.
I drive a Volvo car. Another Volvo that I had saved my life thank God. Coming from a Jeep this Volvo drives nice. I would get it because it's very safe.
Love this older model with those wheels! I have a 2015 XC 60R polestar... I love it! Lucked up with my blessing and got it at 89k mi with one previous owner and at $20k... a year ago this month at 94k mi to-date. It's so nice in cherry red. If you Google my car a picture pops up and it's great! I just lose this year's wheels. My husband has had a 1999 V70R, 2006 V70R (loved her), and he bought me a 2011 S40R... last year of that model... lowered suspension and just a fun little sporty zippety car to drive. It had 69k mi at the time of purchase '16 and has 118k now in really great condition still. No mechanical issues, and is parked now 95% of the time with a car cover. It's the metallic black with the glitter in it... it used to be on Google too from Portland, Oregon. It had the most beautiful rims that caught the sunlight and just glistened, but I ended up replacing them too the manufacturer's last Christmas. Love Volvo R models! 😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Dave, I think you should tell Roman that when editing the videos, it would be wise to choose a thumbnail picture with you on it. Because lately whenever I see a TFL CAR video on my subscription list, I tend to skip it, thinking its those other two guys goofing around, on the other hand, you give a great review.
Hello Roman, I knew you would read the comment and reply right away. I wrote the comment with the intent to tease you, hope I didn't get your blood boiling. You and Nathan are great too and have a very comedic style, and I was just teasing, I enjoy all of TFL CAR videos.
It looks sexy in person, well at least in Passion Red! I saw an elderly couple come into the Volvo dealership last week while i was getting my oil changed, they rolled in in a 2011 535 with $16K in options. I know that because the salesman was bragging about it when they traded it in for the xc60 RD! It was funny seeing them pull away in that car because they bought every single option on it though I doubt they will use all of its 325 ponies:D
Well then that would be because you like the Explorer (which is fine). I can tell you that it won't drive or perform better having only 30 more hp and another 500lbs of curb. This drives and handles on the heels of an S60R for reference.
That first one would only really be a concern if the Chinese owner was actually responsible for the design, engineering, and assembly of "their" product.
Volvo is currently run as a seperate entity, but Geely wants to produce Volvo's in China. Then soon they will be designed, engineered and assembled in Volvo's new homeland. And your ford influenced model of today will be warranteed by a Chinese owned company.
love volvos... and i really wouldnt mind an s60 or used s40... however then again if you think about the people buying these vehicles.. i mean who really cares about gas that much if you can afford a 40-60k vehicle?

Yes, but I'm a huge Volvo fan.

Gotta factor in the Awd, and all the weight. The 3.8 was ahead of its time back in the day and you can't kill it, gotta love that 3800!
Wow! MORE of Dave!!! He is so "not" Nathan!" I will watch this guy again on your channel, keep up the good work guys!

This was a good review.
They did it already with Nathan and Roman. It was something like 7.6 seconds in altitude.
I want it with the D5 engine
It looks Nice and great engine!
This isn't my father's Volvo? My father drive a 2007 Volvo S80... looks kind of similar to me.
Would you take this over the Audi Q5?
I love it!!!!!

What makes you say that?
You mean the two nitwits aren't going to stuff themselves in the trunk and have 90% of the footage being shots of their faces?
no 0 to 60? and i rather take the 2013 ford explorer sport 350 hp 350 tq it comes out in the fall
I am sure one would really really enjoy owning a Volvo S60.
Just need to add that this car is also available with the d3,d4, d5,diesel engines, shower but cheaper to drive.. Atle
