Love this! I was just recently talking about doing a light overland build as a daily driver and dirt road explorer, and Volvo was at the top of my list. I had no idea there were any aftermarket accessories for these, I was initially leaning toward the 70, but this 60 looks fantastic done up.
Awesome! I love ordering all the parts I need for my XC70 at IPD. And living in Vancouver, WA I can run across the bridge to pick them up at the warehouse.
Hi from Volvo country 🇸🇪 Happy to see a genuine Volvo specialist here on TH-cam 😁 In august we’re doing a roadtrip to Iceland 🇮🇸with our XC90 D5 Inscription 2019 a.k.a “Thor”. Yup , from Malmö over the Öresundsbridge to Denmark 🇩🇰 to Jutland and the ferry from Hirtshals over the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 to Iceland. A 2 days journey. We’ll be out 3 weeks in total. I must say that this v-log inspired me , I hold my thumbs that you do a similar set up with an XC90 with the air suspension included. We don’t do any rivercrossing with our Thor , but that kitchen module , the OZ rims with the tyres….🤩 I’ll follow you and see what kind of goodies that comes up 👋👋
On my 2018 V60 XC, I added: an IPD skidplate, the IPD rear anti-sway bar, and an IPD upper engine torque mount. Tyger roof rack on Thule crossbars, with a lockable Pelican case. Hood-mounted 20" TigerLights LED lightbar (safe location to avoid flying rocks).
We are using a SMALL. We love the caprock because it is longer. Most platform racks are square on all edges. This one is wide, but we wanted it to be longer than wider. The SMALL will work on almost all Volvo applications.
We ran wires under the A-pillar cover. We tapped into power in the fuse box in the engine compartment. We also ran the switch into the car through the fender.
Tires are 245/70/17 BFG K02's Wheels are OZ Racing Wheels 17x8.5" ET40mm. For a full write up on this car you can visit www.ipdusa.com blog articles XC60 T6. Thank you

I love you guys! My first car was a 79 240 dl wagon which made me fall in love.
I absolutely love my T6 AWD! Such a blast to drive and most people are amazed with its speed and handling. Such a sleep 😂

🤘My fellow XC crew 😊
Love it.
I've been thinking of buying one
smh, so much good info yes , thank you
Fantastic! I own a 2009 XC60 myself. Any particular reason you didn’t go for a frontrunner roofrack?
Which Caprock size are you using? it looks amazing

I want to do this to my xc60. Whats the difference between the bilstein HDs and their b6?
They're the same.
@@IPDTheVolvoSpecialists good to know. If I use the lift spacer, should I use a body spacer as well? To keep the suspension from bottoming out.
How did you connect the light on the roofreck?
We ran wires under the A-pillar cover. We tapped into power in the fuse box in the engine compartment. We also ran the switch into the car through the fender.
may i know what size rims and tyre
