2,000 hours well spent. It's not just about views, it's about an absolute determination and will to achieve something so beautiful in stop-motion. This shot at 3:02 always amazes me. It's like a POV of a space ship traveling thru 8-bit dimension. Outstanding art Rymdreglage. I wish more people could find and appreciate your work!
Watching that part gives me the same vibes as the one carnival ride that you lie on sloped rolling platforms on the inside of an enclosed giant spinny thing, and as it speeds up you're pushed back against the platform, and eventually you're going so fast you _roll upward_ and you're pinned in midair... It almost gives me the same visual vibe, gradual acceleration until you hit critical velocity and _magic_ happens.
The first 8-Bit Trip was a huge video for me. Got me wanting to try my hand at stop motion Lego videos. That didn't go any where but it still had a huge impact on me. Learning about the sequel 3 years after its release is criminal to me. This was awesome!
This has been out for months, and still less than 100K views. That's insultingly low considering the sheer amount of effort that went in to this quality video.
The camera was noticably more dynamic in this one. That, and everything else with the video was amazing. Felt like seeing the first one on high school again.
2:25 just keeps blowing my mind... These guys build a working zoetrope with a custom camera rig using stop-motion as animation on lego's build by hand.
I know nothing about stop-motion. Everything about this is impressive, but I think the most impressive thing is the amount of different techniques that are being used to blend all this together. None of which I understand. Also, I have no idea how the camera is moving like that. It's one thing working all this out on a computer, but to then actually do it in real life is unreal. You two are amazing craftsmen.
impresively done!, what a ride!, I was 10 years old when i first watched the original 8 bit trip video, today im 21 watching the sequel, you guys inspired me to become a stop motion animator, thank you for doing this and good luck on your other projects!
Worth the wait. The amount of delicate details and insane efforts for the pixel-perfect effects, ALL DONE BY HAND! I was blown away by the first one, and am just as impressed with this! FANTASTIC JOB! Side Note: I used the original 8-bit trip video as an example of a "True 1080p" video on YT, most were just SD videos upscaled, but the downside was YT couldn't handle HD streaming well, so you'd have to let it buffer fully. It was worth waiting for the HD quality back then, and it was worth the wait for a quality sequel!
Pretty cool follow on to the 8-bit trip. Watching that again really does take me back. Its amazing what we did with those little 8 bit CPUs. I miss the days when going to the arcades at lunch was the thing to do.
Are you serious right now!? 11 years later and I am given a video that immediately took me back to being 20 years old. You are a germ, a diamond in the rough. How did I restubble on your videos after 11 years just after I rewatched 8-bit trip. Amazing.
This is freaking impressive. At first I thought ehh. But after seeing all these moving parts and imagining what went into this production. It's insane.
To me, this was a total bombshell. From time to time I have wondered if it was ever going to come out. Then boom on a sunny Wednesday morning, it just arrives! And it is every bit (sic) as glorious as the first one, only better and more awesome, down to the last detail. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this!
Crazy to think that the original video is 14 years old now and was a huge memory from my childhood. As an adult now, till this day I still have no idea how you guys work your magic. Thank you for the wild 14 years! I'm honestly sad I missed this video and only saw it 2 years later.
Having a week off, relaxing on my couch with freshley made coffee and youtube greets me with this. What a day! Besides, what a cool Chiptune-Track again.
just amazing. It's so surreal to see something that's taken so many years of your life to finish, come to completion. You've done a crazy impressive job, really hit that nostalgia button for me.
This needs to be played at high volume 😎 and also we need a extended version of this ......a true sucessor, guys you are my hero's , greetings from Holland
Initially I was not sure if it had as much impact upon me as the first one, but back then I had never seen anything like it. And when looking closer at the effects and smoothness, I think upon second thought, it's at least as impressive as the first one. Nice job once again, respect for the energy you put into this. You are legends!
Im so glad that this is finally done, i have been a fan of your's work since the early 2010's and got way more the work you 2 put out back in 2018, this is an amazing project that was deffinetly worth the wait, thank you :).
Holy crap. I remember watching the original video when I was just a little tike, Maybe 9 years old. By far the thing that blows me away the most is how steady and smooth the camera work is. That timing and steadiness is tough get right in stop motion. There were times I questioned for a moment if this was actually a 3D software instead of live action, kinda like the lego movie. And its strange seeing how some of this stuff is the kinda stuff I attempted (and failed) doing when I was a kid. Thank you for making this!
Wow, I waited 9 years for this, since you showed your Camera robot. And I thougt many years your channel is dead. But suddenly corona happens and there is new 8 Bit life. I hope 8 Bit Trip 3 Dont need another 9 years.
WHOA THEY MADE A 2?! YESSSSSSS!! TH-cam, USE YOUR ALGORITHM AND GIVE THESE AMAZING ARTISTS SOME LOVE! Rymdreglage are my favorite content creators of all time, been watching your stuff since 2011
Fy helsike vilket jobb.
Absolutely stunning, the passion and craft on display here is unmatched by almost everything else on the web right now, I am so glad you all put in the ungodly amount of time it took to make art like this, your determination shines through and inspires me and I'm sure many others. This is so well made I just can't TAKE IT HELL YEAAA
i think this might be the greatest camera work of all time - the amount of time it must have taken to get it that smooth and fluid, in stop-motion, scares me to think about
12 years. I've kept coming back to 8-bit trip and every single time I've shared it with the many friend groups that have changed over the years, the response is still the same. Absolutely floored. I cannot believe I got lucky enough to see this sequel. This has made my entire life!!! Hats off to you guys. You can clearly see the heartfelt dedication and passion in every detail. Very rarely do you see a sequel to anything that's as great as the first, but you guys nailed it! Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with us, and for taking me back to a simpler time. My heart is so full!
I still remember this is the very first impressive Video I saw on TH-cam, at that time both the world and my life was much simpler. Thank you for bringing me back to those moments for 3 and a half minutes straight.
68,000 views is tragic for this masterpiece... incredible
They should get more so they can apply for TH-cam rank

That's because they were not active enough on youtube. To exist you need to take care of your community. In eleven years they almost disappeared.
If they hadn't posted hundreds of videos to peoples subscription boxes at once more people would've still been subscribed and seen the video.
@@RyuAzuku Yes, what was that shit ?
Finally after 11 years 😳
I've been waiting for it for years too!

Why am I only recommended this now? Damn you TH-cam!
Sonic may be a late arrival to the 8-bit party, but fantastic to see him.
The dedication is impressive!
Holy mother of dragons, 12 years. And result is absolutely crazy!
Пиздец...
At 1:30
The rotating wireframe cube...
...on the side of a pyramid...
......oriented toward a moving camera...
.........blew my mind.
Been waiting for 12 years, was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!
Took 12 years to make....
@@carl-magnuscarlsson7713 BOYHOOD!
It's.. It's just glorious.. That's all I can say.
MAN I wish I had bought or mined 1000 bitcoins the first time I saw the original 8-bit Trip!!!
I'll meet you here in 10 years from now
- What could we do with Stop-Motion ?
- Rymdreglage : 2:30 What about some Stop-Motion ?

3:00 The "graphics pop up" in the far background during that sequence was a nice attention to detail!
It took twelve years, but it finally hit me: this is physical demoscene.
Indeed the demoscene parties back in the day had a "wild compo" category for exactly this sort of thing.
This has been out for months, and still less than 100K views. That's insultingly low considering the sheer amount of effort that went in to this quality video.
Holy shit, it's actually here
The camera was noticably more dynamic in this one. That, and everything else with the video was amazing. Felt like seeing the first one on high school again.

The lighting when link fights his shadow 🙌🏻✨

Insane 👏 Love the peek behind the scenes at the end
Well done! Thank you for single handedly keeping Lego in business! That was awesome.
The first video and the second are definitely two of the best LEGO videos out there. Congratulations, they are amazing productions!
This completely lives up to what I waned to see from the sequel to a massive childhood inspiration
THIS DESERVES AS MANY OSCARS AS LEGO BRICKS WERE USED (AT LEAST) !!!
This is freaking impressive. At first I thought ehh. But after seeing all these moving parts and imagining what went into this production. It's insane.
I never knew there was a sequel. the effort put into this one is insane
Absolutely missed those animations !
12 years waiting were absolut worth ^^
This is a masterpiece, im gonna rewatching this my entire life.

This is just amazing. Takes me back many years to good old times, when I first found 8 bit trip.
congrats you’ve outdone yourselves. 1st 8-bit trip is one of the first youtube videos i vividly remember
Absolutely worth the 8 year wait! I’m so glad to see your hard work and can’t wait to see what you’ve got next. You deserve so much more praise.

This is so awesome to see 8 Bit Trip 2. I loved the original, it's so great you did a second one.
Congrats guys! This looks awesome!
