The littlebird vids are by far my favorite. There were a few times I thought you were going to catch a skid on a half-meter boulder you were flying so low.

Goddamn after watching you accurately engage with those miniguns it makes me really want to get some pedals, it's the last thing hindering me from being able to accurately use fixed forward weapons on helo's.

Correct me if I am wrong but you are yet to be shot down in the Arma 3 missions. I know you are a good pilot and all but this used to be fairly common (awesome) in Arma 2. Is this down to you just getting better Arma 3's differing characteristics with the AI an damage model?
I'm guessing it's the different AI priorities. In A2 from what I've seen the target the biggest threat first, in this it seems different as he could be shooting at the infantry and they wouldn't care

+Mike van Veen I believe it was the alert for a MANPADS launch/lock-on. It meant that an enemy anti-air missile launch was done/imminent.
+Qarlo99 Thats the LWIRCM being set off.
It's Dslyecxi activating his infrared countermeasures (or the LWIRCM) in order to defeat a lock before it can get locked on.
Unsure if it's automatic or not however.

I know I'm coming in to this a long way after the party, but I have to ask. How is it you seem to have finer control over your throttle/travel speed? I'm only one weekend of self-flight training in, and I'm able to implement some of what I've seen, consistently landing without use of auto hover in most cases now, but trying to imitate the maneuvering by tilting the nose alone only seems to slow me about half of what I'm seeing in this video. What am I missing?

hey I just got the game and I have been practising on helicopter through boot camp. how can I choose to be a helicopter pilot in multilayer and how I get missions.

Gj! if I may ask, are u using a joystick or sth like this and if so how can u look around all the time? With my setup I'm not able to reach my mouse very good while flying...

Dude you make flying, especially the little bird look easy? It's far from easy! I'm on my 2nd week as a newbie wantabie? On Dcs Xplane flying F18, F16 I haven't even gotten to my 3rd plane Harrier yet & the bell 412-429 fun machines and realistic But complicated as fuck! I've been watching your how to videos and it's helping? Got a ways to go yet! but it's a blast and I'm having fun.. I just enjoy watching you kick-ass in the little bird Booyah !

Can you tell Bohemia Interactive to let us walk inside the chopper, and also we hover the chopper in air and then we can leave the cockpit and walk inside the chopper and fire ground targets...

dyslexci did you find a way to fix the experimental AH-6 message every time you pop countermeasures (error.whiteflaresmoke not found)? or did you just snip it out?
+kerplunk102adventure I don't think that there is whiteflaresmoke for his countermessures, LWIRCM means (I think) Long Wave Infra-Red Countermeasures, meaning there is no smoke and that it's all electronic.

Ok thanks alot for reply. Just started playing arma and i think its awesome. I was just wondering what kind of fps you get in king of the hill? I got a good rig with with 6700k and gtx 1070 but sometimes the fps goes down into the 30's. Its still playable though. In single player it never goes down thag much. This video you made is sweet. i did read about your history with bohemia games though, so its understandable. You got some very informative videos. Thank you for the time you've put into them. All the best to you.

On the HUD compass, there are two indicators other than the indicator that visualizes the pilot's view direction (i.e. the white triangle); specifically a second view direction visualization (black triangle) and a yellow cornered square... anyone know what those represent? Are these due to an active mod and if so, what mod?
+Benjamin Grimes The white sector is pilot FOV. The black sector is copilot/FLIR FOV - note that until the ferry rides at 9:00, it is pointing straight ahead, when one of the passengers uses the FLIR to look around. The orange box is the HUD waypoint (map shift-click wp).
What's that LWRCM thing? Some sorta chaff?
+Warren Peace no idea what it stands fro, but from what I've seen, it seems to be the cables used for slingloading.
+Chris Smeets (Crizyz) LWIRCM is the deployable LightWeight InfraRed CounterMeasures system for the MELB, which gives it a limited capability to defeat/evade the enemy's MANPADS (which the stock AH6/AH9 in Arma3 lacks).
