Thank you very much. Saved for (hopefully) a far future for my CRF1000D (2016). 63.000 kms and still occasional drops of coolant only which I believe is fine. I still like my bike but I am not sure it was a good idea to place water pump inside. Great channel, I am a long subscriber. Greetings from winter Central Europe.
Great video as always Cody. Keep up the good work. It does remind me how I love my good old Africa Twin 650 (RD03) from 1989. It is a 1000 times easier to work on. I hate removing a dozen plastic trim pieces and covers and wire-harnesses to get to things.
Haha! 5 years old, nearly 20,000 miles. Some have twice as many miles and are just fine. I would not consider this a common thing 👌🏻🤷🏻♂️ luckily this repair was actually covered under warranty due to the owner having HPP. 🤌🏻 Thanks for watching!
Hey Cody, what state are you from? I'm from Maryland and I have a 2002 Shandow 1100. I like your content. I plan on doing a full review with someone who knows what they're doing.
@ Great, I'll take it for a general inspection to find out what I need, as well as mentioning things I noticed on this bike, okay! There's a website to schedule an appointment!
I love Hondas , Ive been riding them since the first XR75 came out ,thats how old I am. I have Honda Quads as I'm a Farmer. ATM my leisure ride is a Suzuki DR650. I have an XR200 for farm fun when not working. However this is why I wouldn't buy a CRF . I would want to get home at the end of the day. I like them simple ,if you happen to break down on the road ,you can fix it. For me XR XR XR.
It comes in any of the slide hammer kits. It’s just a little round end with a 90° ledge on the end. Honestly that one is overkill that I was using. They make smaller ones haha.
They are using this motor in many other model bikes. “Better”? In some ways yes. It’s a smooth and remarkable machine. Great power delivery all the way through the throttle.
@TheMotorcycle!!I know Honda its the best japanese brand, but i'm not sure if they mantain the same quality standards . Thats the meaning of my question. Thanks a lot.
Outstanding! Thank you for taking the time to make this excellent detailed video, it will help so many! 🍻🍻
Thanks man!

Agreed! XR’s are and will always be hard to beat. Great bikes.
What fitting is on the end of the slide hammer to be able to use it to pry covers off like that?
