What the fuck people. We are watching a video of some excellent first class and all you can focus on is the fact that the airline is arabic? You don't want to fly luxuriously than tell our shitty American Airlines to step their fucking game up because their isn't anything like Dubai, Qatar, Lufthansa, Thai or Cathay in America.
OMG... You were always smiling! Most of the people who can afford this type of trip normally don't care much about this stuff. Thank you for the upload! Simply amazing!
Love this video. Not because of the awesome first class seatings. But by the pure joy and pleasure the filmer feels. You can tell he really appreciates it and doesn't just fly first class because he got money, he actually sees it as a real experience... Kudos to you man.
Just a thank you, from me, the guy that recorded and edited this video a year and a half ago. I've enjoyed watching the numbers of viewers rise, and also interacting with the commenters. This world has a long way to go if the goal is to give everybody a reasonable chance at a half way acceptable life. But keep working towards that goal. If you find your work not accomplishing anything, then TRY SOMETHING ELSE! And to the people of the Middle East, السلام عليكم I was very impressed.
Looks like a great experience :) P.S its refreshing to see someone being so polite to the staff, have watched some other of these first class travel vids and not even a simple thank you to staff! The staff also seem very polite a great vid all in all:)
You know, I LOVE watching people's First Class plane experience videos... BUT NONE OF THEM TALK! You talked a lot and it was very clear you had excitement throughout the whole flight! and I love that!!! :) It gets me feeling excited for you! haha FANTASTIC VIDEO.. .It has the well deserved views!!!
It's amazing how far First Class comfort has progressed in the last 25 years. I remember when the big thing in First was the introduction of Sleeperette seats.
That's amazing!! I used to listen to my parents talk about some family friends who flew on a United 747 first class, and I was amazed that they had a Christmas tree in the upper deck-but it was nothing like this!!!
Nice video. I also liked to hear your sincere enjoyment with the special treatment Emirates gives their First Class customers. It was real. You never get use to it. Thanks again.
And you, My friend. Are a prime example of what everyone should be like. Humble and simply amazing. Finally people who appreciate that wealthy people just dont 'Become' this over night, and we work hard for everything we have, and as well, everyone else has the same capability of doing such..
Glad you like it. I do this stuff for the day when I can't anymore and can then just see it again for the fun of it. Life is perishable, make the best of it, good luck.
Minus all the hater comments on here I think the vid was great you seem like a regular guy who got a chance at luxury and wanted to share this vid which I enjoyed. I was really impressed with all the amenities.
Yes, I'll never forget how I enjoyed my flight on this first class...Munich to Dubai and Dubai to Sydney (however, the second leg of the flight not on A380). Just perfect!
You know, I'm really glad you said that. I spend an embarrassing amount of my life in the air these days and I would take a pleasant conversation with an interesting person in coach over a Gulfstream any day. People get so caught up in the hierarchy of luxury that they forget where living really happens. At least in my experience.
Cool video. I've done Emirates Business class on 2 of there A380 planes. But would love doing front row seats (first class) one day. There service was great when I flew with them and the bar at the back on the top deck is a great place to socialize.
Man, I watch this video over and over. Its just amazing, Congratulations, I hope you get on this monster many times. Im working a lot so I can fly on anA380 soon. Greetings and keep posting!
Im going to Dubai in December, and can`t wait... Honestly, I think it is the land of the future! Thanks a lot for this inspiring video. If you can think of it, You can have it!
Wow is only the half of it, when I saw the amazing place called Dubai, boy was I impressed. Both with the amazingness of the structures, but also with the service of the employees. Us USA guys aren't used to that kind of service. We get staffers that wish they didn't know us. In Dubai, at least at that Fairmont hotel I stayed at, they literally knew your first name even after you had been gone for a week. Amazing.
Emirates does a fabulous job. The best that I have ever experienced, I wish them all the success possible going forward. Terrific management obviously.
And I thank you for noticing and appreciating that. Would you believe, on at least the two occasions that viewers have taken the time to email me, people are copying the thing and re-uploading it attempting to make money off it.
depends on the configuration, I think this one had 16, they do provide a great experience, I learned that they carried two people whose sole job was to keep the lavatories clean. Now that's service!!!
When I flew with Emirates in June they didn't do the prayer for going starting a journey which was slightly disappointing. Good to see that the call to prayer is done in the terminals at DXB though. Nonetheless a fantastic video.
Great video Sir. Absolutely wonderful to see the interiors of 1st class on the A380. The sight of the Godiva chocolate brought water to my mouth..... The airlines do not give us Godiva in economy class (so mean). I am happy that you are fortunate enough to travel 1st Class. Please post more such videos for us to see....
I had only limited exposure to Abu Dhabi, but if that is your first choice, go for it. If you are a college student I would recommend doing some studies in Dubai, it will definitely cause your resume to stand out from the rest. Good luck.
I use Icelandair myself for european trips mostly,i'm waiting for them to upgrade to the 787's to film. I was hoping I wasn't alone thinking the same thing. The service in general get better when switching over from US planes to foreign planes.
What makes the A380 in Emirates a success: great uniforms, helpful waiter/waitresses, programmers, engineers, pilots, architects, wow what more can I say?
I thought the quality of the take away amenities was the best I have seen of all airlines. The toiletries bag looked like leather and the people I gave them to were pleased to get them. Writing kit had a pen I use every day. Same with the pajamas. The noise canceling headsets, not take away, but almost redundant because the plane was pretty quiet.
The plane was phenomenal, the service was phenomenal, the airport was phenomenal, the hotel was phenomenal and Dubai was phenomenal, and I DON'T use those words loosely.
As a follow up, Dubai is an unimaginable place. I was impressed beyond words. A little too hot for about half of the year, yet what the managers of that place have accomplished, and yes, I've read the words of the naysayers, but what the Sheik has done there is nothing short of extraordinary.
Me too, when I go away on my travels it is usually for 5-6 weeks, I am guessing that the cost of his flight would be about as much as I spend on a whole trip!
Thank you for posting this video. I have always been curious about UAE Airlines First Class. Maybe on my next flight to the Middle East, I will be able to fly UAE! I have experienced Virgin Atlantic to Heathrow. Their Upper Class service is excellent. My next flight will be with Delta to Dubai. I am expecting great service. Their continental FC service is pretty great. Thanks again!
I loved that commercial! DirecTV for those that didn't get the reference, see it on youtube. Hilarious, especially the mini giraffe and the dogs playing poker.
Safety and maintenance procedure depends on the airline. You can trust a reputed airline like Emirates to follow high standards of safety and maintenance procedures.
All I can say is I am sure glad somebody out there offers this kind of service, sure was a refreshing way to travel as contrasted with what I normally get in the United States. In the US all I get are beleaguered employees that seem to wish they lived somewhere, anywhere else.
As I have reported, it varies greatly. Generally figure around 10 times the coach ticket price for international travel and 3-4 for times that price for domestic travel depending on what they mean by domestic travel. As to the price for this ticket I can't give you that because I don't know. I paid for an upgrade.
It is most likely they meant a 777-300. The only -300 anything in AA's fleet is the 767 or 777. The 777 is the flagship of the fleet, so it gets the newest/best in flight product first. There was a 747-300 but it didn't sell very well (only 81 made) and American never flew that variant.
It was. I've never had an experience like that before, truly awesome. When's the last time you were on a plane you wanted to stay on? I could have stayed on there much longer! So many things to do and look at. Taking it all in was like trying to take a drink from a fire hose. And Dubai is just such an amazing place. It was truly nice, however brief, to be able to be in a country that seemed to be so well managed. The service I got at the Fairmont Dubai was over the top great.
I love how to athaan is played through out the whole city... Its simply beautiful and shows how such a powerful country stick to their very unique and beautiful culture. Proud to be a muslim.!
Truly amazing how much luxury can be included on a cramped airplane. Good video. If I ever have a reason to head to the middle east this would be the way to do it. Not that I can afford it...but we can all dream.
I hope to. I just finished reading a book about the pilot to King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, an American Joe Grant. He flew the king all over the place in a DC3 that was given to the king by President Roosevelt. When he came back to the US he wished he was still in Saudi Arabia because it was so much more fun than airline flying! Apparently that plane has been restored and is in a museum in Riyadh.
Btw, that was an amazing video. I have never had the money to fly first class so I always watch these youtube videos that people took of flying first class. Wow, i wish i could do what you did right there. Fly 10 and a half hours in that plane!
I think the 787 has one of those systems such that when voltage is applied the window is clear, otherwise opaque. In light of the electrical problems, I bet they wish they had opted for something else. Perhaps they save weight that way. Think how much fuel that could be saved if we all just lost 10 pounds.
Thanks for that nice comment, now stay safe in life and try to do the right thing. Reach for the stars, but keep your feet on the ground! Nothing ever works out the way you want it no matter who you are, keep that in mind.
Well, it is assembled in France, It's component parts are manufactured all over Europe, the wings and engines in the UK and the fuselage in Germany to name a few places.
I want to fly on that beautiful plane The food and wine looked incredible, the Godiva chocolates were a lovely touch I'm jealous. When I fly I get a half a can of Coke and a bag of peanuts
@amg4330 Good one. There is a meter in the shower so you when to rinse out the shampoo! They thought of everything. The floor is even heated and there is a 25 inch screen to tell you what city you are flying over.
I think this it was an amazing experience...How much does it cost the first class? The flight was from New York to Dubai? I hope sometime I will travel with this amazing airplane...
That's what I don't get crews... I work for in an airline and althought I'm not a cabin crew I sometimes travel in "my" airline and gosh... They are not very polite. Being a crew is an amazing opportunity to meet new people, to meet new places and they tend to be arrogant. I can't wait to travel on Emirates! Soon!! :D

Emirates has an impressive first class. I've got to take a first class flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong, it's what I can afford at $850. How did you manage to fly in first class? What do you do for a living, if I don't mind asking?
That's good! And heated floor sounds even better ahaha. I guess it is, however I wasn't asking to judge you and the amount of money you have, I am not bothered at all, I am just interested in how much all of that would cost just to fly somewhere with services to a standard that high.

The airport is the best I have ever been to NO COMPARISON to any other. CLEAN beyond belief.
OMG,,,let me tell you ,by far this has been the most amazing first class video i've seen so far.. congratulations

Nice video. I also liked to hear your sincere enjoyment with the special treatment Emirates gives their First Class customers. It was real. You never get use to it.

Glad you like it. I do this stuff for the day when I can't anymore and can then just see it again for the fun of it. Life is perishable, make the best of it, good luck.
You, sir, are a very lucky man! Thank you so much for showing everything you get while flying 1st class!
Minus all the hater comments on here I think the vid was great you seem like a regular guy who got a chance at luxury and wanted to share this vid which I enjoyed. I was really impressed with all the amenities.
One of those, don't ask just sit there experiences. Eye opening to say the least.

What you've done there mate, is given me motivation. Lots of it. Hope to join you up there in First Class someday!
Cool video. I've done Emirates Business class on 2 of there A380 planes. But would love doing front row seats (first class) one day. There service was great when I flew with them and the bar at the back on the top deck is a great place to socialize.

Coupled with a smile, that would be more than enough!
BTW, thanks for the kind complement :-)
Whoa. And to imagine I've always loved economy class, this must feel like heaven.
Im going to Dubai in December, and can`t wait... Honestly, I think it is the land of the future! Thanks a lot for this inspiring video. If you can think of it, You can have it!

I remember flying to Dubai on emirates. It was fun, but economy was terrible. You are so lucky.
I agree! Heaven in the air. Best airline I've ever been on, that's for sure. I love Dubai. An amazing place with unlimited potential!
depends on the configuration, I think this one had 16, they do provide a great experience, I learned that they carried two people whose sole job was to keep the lavatories clean.

its usually in the range of 5.000-10.000 €,
it depends on the airline and distance you fly.
I use Icelandair myself for european trips mostly,i'm waiting for them to upgrade to the 787's to film. I was hoping I wasn't alone thinking the same thing. The service in general get better when switching over from US planes to foreign planes.

I'm a flight attendant in the US and working for Emirates would be my dream job!

No amount of money will accomplish anything without direction. In my short stay in Dubai, I was very much impressed.
there is only one word to describe this video = AMAZING! keep it up, hope to see more fascinating video's in the long run
The plane was phenomenal, the service was phenomenal, the airport was phenomenal, the hotel was phenomenal and Dubai was phenomenal, and I DON'T use those words loosely.

I know for a friend that flying from Bangkok to Hong Kong (about 3 hours), the first class ticket cost about 640 USD.
Thank you for posting this video. I have always been curious about UAE Airlines First Class. Maybe on my next flight to the Middle East, I will be able to fly UAE! I recognize the airport in New YOrk. This is my working office! I love working on the A380. EK rules!
What an experience . I love you for sharing it .
shbitz Great place, I go there as often as is possible. Arguably the best place on earth, the gulf that is.
Truly amazing how much luxury can be included on a cramped airplane. Good video. If I ever have a reason to head to the middle east this would be the way to do it. Not that I can afford it...but we can all dream.
nice this has motivated me to continue struggling with my hard course in uni and maybe I will fly like this instead of economy one day
I hope to. I just finished reading a book about the pilot to King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, an American Joe Grant. الخطوط السعودية أفضل ( يارب سامحني ) ما أجمل صوت الأذان الله أكبر.
ماشاء الله تبارك الله يارب ترزق الخطوط السعوديه وحده مثلها .
I'm 14 and my life goal is to be able to afford to fly like this someday, it looks absoluetly amazing!
Thanks for that nice comment, now stay safe in life and try to do the right thing. Reach for the stars, but keep your feet on the ground! Nothing ever works out the way you want it no matter who you are, keep that in mind.
Both have perfect safety records. Let's hope it stays that way.
How was first class??? Did you watch the video? It was nice. Thank you for playing.
Well, it is assembled in France, It's component parts are manufactured all over Europe, the wings and engines in the UK and the fuselage in Germany to name a few places.
Amazing video. The deff don't let you go hungry, that's for sure!
Wow.. that was an amazing video to watch. Thank you very much for uploading it.
I want to fly on that beautiful plane The food and wine looked incredible, the Godiva chocolates were a lovely touch I'm jealous. When I fly I get a half a can of Coke and a bag of peanuts
WOW.. just, WOW! If only I could afford to fly first class. This is AMAZING!!
@amg4330 Good one. There is a meter in the shower so you when to rinse out the shampoo! They thought of everything. The floor is even heated and there is a 25 inch screen to tell you what city you are flying over.
Man hopefully someday when I grow up I'll be able to afford to fly first class everywhere I go!!!!
Possibly the best video on TH-cam
Now thats what I call first class.... DXB looks amazing!!!
I think this it was an amazing experience...How much does it cost the first class? The flight was from New York to Dubai? I hope sometime I will travel with this amazing airplane...
In Australia you can get Around the world first class tickets flying Qantas and Lufthansa for $7850
That's what I don't get crews... I work for in an airline and althought I'm not a cabin crew I sometimes travel in "my" airline and gosh... They are not very polite. Being a crew is an amazing opportunity to meet new people, to meet new places and they tend to be arrogant. I can't wait to travel on Emirates! Soon!! :D
Your English is great by the way, for someone who learned it as a second language. In Arabic about all I know is As-Salaam-Alaikum!
@Thomas Vila I can't answer that other than to wonder what else they could possibly do. As it is, in Dubai they drive you to your hotel in a Mercedes, white glove service all the way.
Thats impressive A380 sets the standard!! Nice
Suppose we took out the ceiling, it's not structural it's only for looks, then took out the seats, and put in an array of fishnet style hammocks, that would have a frame for a defined space inside, and a zipper that would hold you safely in there no matter the turbulence, and voila, with the same space, you know have something you can lie in rather than be forced to sit up in. You could lie on your back or lie on your side.
Actually, the music, completes the picture. I was unfamiliar with it, but I have to say this, it did seem to make a whole lot of sense to me.
It's strange, once you are there for a while, the Islamic thing, unbelievably to foreigners, starts to make sense. It really does. And you don't fear it at all. It seems to be the glue that holds the people together and I respect it for what it is. You should to. You don't have to like it, just accept it. If not at a minimum, respect it.
Ha ha!! Kudos to you, sounds like it's a well deserved treat for your hard work. Hopefully I'll get there soonish!
Are there areas you would reccomend to stay? I have read Jumeirah is like the coolest part, but it is also very expensive...
He the 757 is for me the best looking aircraft ever made.
@99knight Actually the seat has some built in massage features you control with that clunky looking remote gadget. I understand they are redesigning that thing. There were 2 remotes. Neither was perfect.
What do you do for a living?
Nice vid, if felt happier after watching!
I was thinking of it from a customer's point of view. In the USA cabin crews treat the customers as cattle, even in what they laughingly call first class. It doesn't work that way in other countries, from my experience.
Great quality and texture ! love it
Actually you can get first class for free if you have a higher "level" than the people also hoping to get a freebie. That's why first class is always full.
You're right, points come into play. I get tons of freebies that way. I love it when I am on a points ticket and they upgrade me because of my so called status, which simply means a certain number of spend.
Honestly how many cost that flight ? Emirates first class is just the pure luxury, im really amazed!
Emirates has an impressive first class. I've got to take a first class flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong, it's what I can afford at $850. How did you manage to fly in first class? What do you do for a living, if I don't mind asking?
Oh that lady at the end welcoming people to Dubai. Porbably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.
That is amazing service. Emirates is a great airline but I am not keen on transiting DXB.
It's a people factory, you get herded around etc.
That's good! And heated floor sounds even better ahaha. I guess it is, however I wasn't asking to judge you and the amount of money you have, I am not bothered at all, I am just interested in how much all of that would cost just to fly somewhere with services to a standard that high.
Dubai's airport looks so sick! Looks more like a mall though, lol!!
