This is Xim Apex Quick and Easy Setup Guide. This is similar to my other videos TOP 5 XIM APEX SETTINGS FOR OVERWATCH and XIM APEX IN 2021 | 1 YEAR REVIEW | Is It Worth It? If you've noticed, my title is different and I'm trying to have more fun with these. This is not Xim Apex quick start guide, or xim apex setup guide. Wait so u have to have ur controller plugged in while ur kbm are plugged into the xim? My keyboard has 2 plugs so in total I would have 4 not 3
Nice video. I'm getting one soon because I'm unsure if I wanna fully transition to PC & I thought the Xim would be a great (and cheaper) way to figure out if I could or wanted to switch.

What in you opinion is the best mnk adapter on a budget
Gamesir is probably the best option but just know the reason why apex is able to be so expensive is because it is simply the best. Just know whatever your getting if you’re spending less you’re sacrificing input time snd just smoothness.
Nice video keep going , i wish someone could help me , i have issue when i play overwatch when i move the mouse fast sensitivity goes low , and when i move the mouse slow sensitivity goes fast
higher dpi would help. i have 16k dpi and it works perfect and solved that problem

Do you have to update the firmware and if you do what does it get you
So updating firmware from what comes out of the box is what gets you “boost” and other features that are for more advanced users. Some people use these features in their settings videos so it’s important to have them. not required tho.

two issues if u know how to solve when u download xim apex manager it either doesn't install or it crashes every time u load it so if anyone has answers for that can u help out I know the reviews say the recent update has broke the manager

Bro what usb charger do i use for my controller I tried a couple and they all didn’t work, my mnk show up on the xim app but not my controller and my xim just flashes a red light
I used to have trouble with that too. Some wires work, but others don't. There's no way of knowing which ones other than just using Xbox certified ones, or ones used for the Nintendo switch or PlayStation. I suggest buying a few off of amazon, and returning the ones that don't work.

xim sells a cheap power supply to plug into the xim its because your keyboard and mouse just take up to much power

When I plug in my keyboard, mouse and controller to my laptop, my mouse isn’t moving, my keyboard isn’t typing. when I plug it back to my laptop it moves, any advice?
If you can normally put your mouse and keyboard into your pc you should be able to use it with your Xim. This video is meant to help people playing on console, I've never Ximmed on pc so I don't know if I can help. If needed, I'll make a video on it soon!

can someone help me please why does the app turn straight off when i open it everything works fine i just can’t get on the app to change my binds
@@noahcormier7519 yes i did i went on reddit so what you have to do is factory reset it then update it back because it has your old configurations on it and since you can’t use those anymore it’s causing it to crash

For Xbox how do u use a mic if u controller is turned off
The controller should always be on if you want to use your xim apex. Plugging the cord into the xim charges it and that way you would put your headphones into the controller. Make sure to use a headphone chat mixer adapter that plugs into the bottom of your controller so you can talk. Otherwise you’d have to do what I do and plug it into another wired controller to talk. hey bro, i tried joining your discord but it says the link is expired, i really need your help, i just got a xim apex and tried using it on my xbox series s, ive heard you cant use xbox series controllers so i tried with two xbox one controllers but none of them will show up on the xim apex manager app, it detects my mouse and my keyboard but not the controller so i cant play and i really dont know what to do, buying this was expensive and im a bit scared, i really love your content and thats why i bought one, pablo btw lol

If you have a normal controller that potentially came with your xbox you'll be able to use it with a cord that supports data transfer. I've tried to use other cords that charge, and most aren't usable with the xim. If your xim can't see the controller 9 times out of 10 its the wire. Check if it works with that firmware update, and after that test with a different cord.

I plan on getting a xim apex but I'm afraid of the sensitivity being a problem/limitation. I'm a cod player, and the max sensitivity is 10 which is very fast. Can the xim apex emulate that? I'm not trying to get to a sensitivity so fast that's it ABOVE what the game would allow like a 15-20 sensitivity, that's not what I'm aiming for. I merely want the xim apex to have the maximum possible sensitivity, so in this case, 10 sensitivity (maximum sensitivity, very fast). Is this possible?

1.) Trying to "flex" means to show off. So unless you're using and different kind of "flex", what you said made absolutely 0 sense.
2.) "Just play on PC" in other words, just spend over 1k to make it happen. Your comment assumes I can do that, which is ignorant.
3.) PC on cod is dead garbage and none of my friends play it so I wouldn't even have anyone to play with.
4.) Use this as a learning lesson as to not reply to comments when you're not even staying focused and answering the question at hand.

yes and no because i think you can play on it without updating the firmware but it wont be good to play on like that (2 years late 😭😭)

It's really not cheating, actually, but okay. It's kind of a cheap move to make, but people do what they want. I'm not sure if you're aware, but a pretty good amount of players on the ladder in Overwatch have the Xim.
I’m not great with a controller. I don’t think they are meant for FPS games. But I feel like this is cheating.

I have no idea why mine won't connect I've updated the firmware connected my mouse and keyboard but in game it doesn't so anything why?

@@benburkitt4149 yeah I just hard reset my Xbox a few times and eventually it just worked make sure it connected to the app

I have a series x and my controller won’t connect
you need to update your firmware to the series x firmware update. Look it up on youtube and download it in order to use it.
Has anyone had an issue connecting the XIM to the controller? I’ve been trying to connect the controller to my App all day and it hasn’t connected

Hey man so I got the xim apex but it’s diff from the one in your yt vid can you help me set it up?
I can help for sure! join my discord server and send the image of what it looks like in the FAQ section and I'll be able see how to set it up. Just so you know though, there is a xim apex clone that doesn't have the 3 port adapter and it's white and orange with a blocky shape. If that's what you have it isn't the xim apex and it wont work like ours do. Regardless I'm willing to help!

I’ve ordered my xim Apex and am really curious on how it’s going to feel, I’m a long time pc player and have really good aim on most games, I’m excited to play overwatch again.

If you use someone else's you could do the same. It's on windows and mac and it doesn't have to be run on a gaming pc.
@@Saucebag I’m buying a g502 mouse can I change the dpi on Xbox or manually or do I have to do it on pc and set the side buttons as well. And what’s a good mousepad?
@@comphydes240 You can't change it on xbox in any way that I know of. I have the g502 and it's onboard memory helps, but a pc to download the logitech software is needed to configure it. If you can somehow find out the base dpi the g502 has when you get it, calculate what xim sens you need to match the 3200 dpi everyone recommends with whatever sens you're copying. The mousepad I use is the Steelseries Qck mousepad that Lime232 uses. Good luck!

No it's meant for keyboard and mouse unless you want to crossover another platform controller

@@deleted-user0 Xim is an adapter that emulates Controller inputs to KBM. You basically play KBM but with controller inputs and movements also you get aim assist
