Hi sir, for number 4 can you take out a common factor of a - so that you are left with -(1-sin^2x) which will simplify to -cos2x ?

I'm confused, so when we interchange the denominator with the numerator we're not supposed to cross multiply but, we must multiply the denominator with the denominator and the numerator with the numerator right? That's all that's confusing me cuz I saw that you didn't cross multiply

Is either 1-2sin^2x or 2cos^2x-1 or cos^2x-sin^2x
Hence the answer will be -(cos2x)
