The correct order of the sentences is: E, C, B, D, A Here's the rearranged text: E. This is the challenge of global warming, and specifically the need to reduce the CO2 emissions associated with fossil fuels. C. It therefore comes as no surprise that the recognition for innovation internationally has begun to emphasize devices that meet this challenge. B. Many of the latest and most innovative inventions focus on what seems to many to be the most pressing issue of our time. D. The research is motivated by the realisation that both batteries and capacitors are keys to the reduction of CO2, since they store renewable energy. A. One range of such devices is the research into batteries that charge and discharge faster; another is building capacitors that have more storage ability. This order makes logical sense, as it: 1. Introduces the challenge of global warming (E) 2. Explains the focus on innovation to address this challenge (C) 3. Highlights the importance of this issue (B) 4. Describes the motivation behind the research (D) 5. Provides examples of the devices being researched (A)
Loved the video man!!, but yeah please write the answers out
Appreciate the feedback. Will definitely do that.
Thank you sir! This is helpful❤
for Q2 why is option A wrong
Writing tomorrow, hope this will help :)

How were your results looking? If you don't mind me asking @@rethabilemasiza7801
I just made the payment however, when I went back to the dashboard, I was unable to access the material. Edit: Thank you very much!! Wrote my NBT last week and to think how worried I was it was such a breeze, and most of the questions were exactly the same on the MAT test. Big Thank You.
Hi Palesa, thanks for signing up. I have emailed the address that was used when purchasing the past papers. Please check your inbox.
Isn't A the simplest form?
I also simplified further and ended up with A
@@nontsibetha8802 i belive its A

If we get 2.25 for question 18, should the answer not be B?
Great video! Just one helpful comment, 1:48 "bee's knees" is a metaphorical term to describe something fashionable or or outstandingly good. It has absolutely no connotations to business at all. Hope this was helpful, keep doing what you're doing!
Wrote my NBTs yesterday and some of the questions appeared...also the strategy that you use to tackle questions also helped me a lot. I am very greatfull to you guys❤ thank you
Thank you for becoming a member and supporting us! We're glad that we could help!
Not me seeing this very late😭Now the course is more expensive and I don't have the money 🙌
Thank you for this informative video sir! With regards to the question asking for probability of triangle ABD being obtuse, isn't angle B equal to 90° when u extend AC coz of angle in 1/2○? and so any point to the right of angle D3 would be 90° plus something else which is also obtuse?
Sir at number 2 the graph of sine does it not start at zero....I'm saying this because when you fliped the graph you started at 5 and the graph turned at negative 5....Is it not suppose to start at zero and turn to negative 5
It is
The normal sine graph does start at zero but when looking at the range we are looking at it's highest and lowest points (Y-values) which are 1 and -1. The 5 changes this to 5 and -5 as I explain in the video.
If these are the questions in nbt I’m finished
same 😭😭
Are you guys also writing on Saturday ??😩
@@vhurenanetshilindi3712How was the NBT guys😭😭😭I'm writing on Saturday, did the videos help???
Just finished writing my NBTs and I cannot express my gratitude enough to you guys for this incredible course. I was super stressed out about these NBTs when I started preparing last week and was fortunate enough to stumble across your channel. The free videos helped a lot, but I still felt like I needed more practice so I bought this course. I kid you not, 16 questions (and yes I counted😭) in the MAT came out exactly the same, numbers and everything. It really helped me get through the paper more easily. You guys are doing absolutely amazing work, keep it up!🙌🏾
Thank you for your support! We really appreciate you taking the time to come back and post!
This really helped thank you kind sir
Do we not get a fomula sheet?!😮
You will be given a formula sheet.
i don’t get the first one
Please could you be more specific about which part of question 1 you don't understand?
How would I know to divide it
how did you know to divide it horizontally? also what if my spaces in between each horizontal line are smaller than your spaces, would i get the same answers?
@@katanamainn from doing maths olympiads I know that in solving problems like this you divide bigger shapes into smaller shapes. And now you you know :) Basically just divide it into triangles and then it's triangles in shaded area divided by total triangles. Yes, you should get the same answer.
@@NickHiltermann that still doesn't make sense to me😭 the question is why are we diving the shapes, is there a specific reason or that's just the rules
For the first question I joined line BD and since it was a cyclic quad I said BAD is 35 because of <s in same segment therfore BCD is 55 because of <s of triangle. I know it was the right answer here but would the steps be correct in an end of year exam?
great job guys
For question 1, is there any other way to answer it? Also, what topic does it fall under. I wanna spend some time answering those till it becomes second nature. I'm sure there are other shapes more terrifying than the triangle.
Nevermind, I found it. It was: 'Ratios of shaded areas within shapes.' Now I feel stupid for asking😔
Why aren't the rest of these videos free 😭
😂ur def got the harder ones, they did u wrong 😂
Were the ones you wrote easier?😭
This channel is exactly what I needed cause i was busy running around like a footless chicken 😅😂❤
Haha! The madagascar reference. I feel the same! Good luck :)
All the best ❤❤
@@sanslewis❤️❤️❤️
yoh same😂
Have you written?how was it?😢
why did we subtract sin54 from 90? where did the 90 come from? (34:15 minutes into video)
Its a trig identity. Lets take sin(90-54). 90-54=36(which we can say 36=y and 54= x because 90-x=y). So Sin(90-54)=Cos(36). So, the rule is Sin(90-x)=Cos(y)
@@MacacoMoninheiro Lovely explanation. Respect!!!✊🏽
Do we have an actual test paper for this year?
Hey sir I am trying to purchase from the link in the comments but I am not sure which one should I purchase because I will only be writing the NQL please guide me.
Please email me senzo@capetowntutors.com and `I will assist you.
🙏🌟thank you
You are welcome! All the best!
I don't understand why 6 is the hypotenuse instead of x. Isn't the angle between the big circles radius and the length supposed to be 90?

I have signed up to smartprep and have paid for NBT prep. My problem now is I can not download the videos to watch when I'm offline. I live in a rural area so network is an issue here. I thought once I have paid I'll be able to download the TH-cam videos but I can not, I can only watch them when I am online and on the smartprep website only, on TH-cam it still says for members only, and data is expensive and I am currently not working and also no longer in matric, but preparing for going back to school next year. Please help me be able to download the content, at least on TH-cam because you can not share downloaded TH-cam videos.
