The Suzuki TU250x is a great little bike to get around town. Who else has owned one of these?

I own one, standard grey, 2011. I live in a small town with long wide paved roads. It's a blast to ride around.

I really loved my little TU250x and should have held onto it. Traded it when I got the MT-07. Thank you for the view and the comment!

I ride a Scrambler Icon, and we are about to purchase a 2015 tu250 for my wife. First bike for her, and she is super excited. Thanks for the review!

It's so much fun and soo good looking. Have 2 bigger bikes but ride this the most, especially since bolting on a custom dog box to pack my sm shepherd around. My tux is now a dedicated pooch carrier. My dog loves the tux! 😍

I wish I had one. Suzuki didn't sell it here where I live

You have a fair understanding of motorcycles. Good choice to start with.

Thanks for this posting. I am looking to test drive a 2011 model today that I am hoping to. buy. I am a returning rider, after only a 50 year break and need a light used bike too practice what I learned at an MSF course two weeks ago. This bike seems perfect for a confidence builder.

There are Universal fit larger windscreens on Amazon that would probably fit your TU250.
I have a larger than stock windscreen on my Suzuki V-Strom 650 + an extra 5" extension on top - together they give top notch highway cruise wind protection.
I do Tours of 600 to 2000 miles & its mandatory equipment to combat "wind fatigue".

Cheers from Pittsburgh with the same model. I love I love I love I love my little Su-zu-zu-zu-zuski!
I went up one tire-size on the back and it made a noticeable difference in ride quality and grip. Stayed the same size on the front but moving on from the factory tire made bike so much more grippy.

I have a heavily modded 2009. It can easily maxes out the speedo now. I've gone up one size on the tires. Better springs and shocks.

      I’d love to see your bike, I have a 2011 tu250 that’s been modded to a scrambler

Hi Bre Ann, that’s a nice review of the 250. It was nice seeing you guys riding and I got to see a wee bit of Indy again!

My question is there a bigger CC like 350 or 400 the same shape from Suzuki? I can't find any from them I found a Yamaha 400 SR but it is kick start :( I like to take my wife with me I don't think 250CC is good for 2 people with 450 pound . Did you drive it with passenger ?

Amazing, it looks like a fully restored vintage bike from the disco era.

Thank you for this video and the tour. The only things that could have made this more fun would be a dialogue exchange with Amish or a trip to Steak & Shake.

I don't think a drum rear is a bad thing. With heavy braking the weight shifts forward and the front does the vast majority of braking anyway. If the rear brake is very strong at all it can easily lock up and then you have to release it to end the slide before it goes down. I like a mild rear brake, use it mostly for gravel roads where the front can get you in trouble.
I had a Norton Commando for 25 years, it used to be the fastest bike you could buy, back in 1969. It had drums front and rear, and I managed not to kill myself. 🙂
