The reason that immigrants are leaving is because they are only using Canada as a stepping stone. Initially they may have wanted to migrate to the US, UK, Australia, etc. but were rejected. So they apply to go to Canada, get entry, stay for a few years, get citizenship and then leave for the country of their choice. I personally know people who did that. They applied to come to Australia, were rejected and went to Canada. They became Canadian citizens and this cleared the way for them to come to Australia. They are now in Australia.
It is the same problem at all these over rated Western nations. They are not prepared to lose it to the migrants so, it will be a struggle for most migrants anyways. Best thing is to use these countries as their sole intention in general is to use us migrants.
A two bedroom now in most parts of Canada is about $2,000 to 2,500. Thanks for the info. People are really rethinking coming and living in Canada. You really need to do your search. Dear Honorable Minister, I will request our Canadian immigration and Canadian border security to stop issuing visas and bringing more Indian students and work permit holder. We don't have more spaces and jobs to accommodates.. They are big burden to local governments. These students in one room 4 or 5 peoples. Rent and sleep. each pay $500 or $600 wow.............. One of my job collage born here and her family was born here, she was crying and complaining about her kids can not get jobs at Wendy's of Tim Hortons bcuz all local Canadian students jobs are taken over by Indian students. what a Shameful and she was so upset. She said Canadian citizens need to get priority to get local gas stations or fast food restaurants or super stores jobs, IT related jobs instead of international student. international students after work drive fast and don't follow traffic rules. Immigration Canada needs to check completer back ground ,every single Indian student or work permit visa holders. Some of them could be Indian secret services agents, they could be cause more trouble for Canadian citizens and Sikh Most of Indian Hindus are inspired by Modi's party BJP and RSS terrorist organization was involved in killings of Indian Christian , Muslims and other Indian minorities. I migrated to Canada in early 1990, it was a time of recession. the Canadian experience was a major obstacle with so many new emigrants. Many young emigrants had failed to continue their educaation due to lack of recognition of the Canadian education system. although, I managed to enroll into the tech schools or college, I left the country in early 2000. its sad to see that the Canadian experience problem still exists.

I do not work a blue-collar job, but I am not sure why people look down on those kinds of jobs because they are quite lucrative in Canada. As for survival jobs, I say all the time that they are transition jobs, and you should have a plan to move out of them as soon as possible. Many, many people have done this. So it is possible. @@ThisSideOfLifeWisdomHonestly the other way around thing is not really that much particularly for immigrants. If anybody has documentation in the US why on Earth will they leave for Canada. They have bigger money currency, more better paying jobs, more jobs, better weather, the beauty of both countries are almost the same but the US have more places to live and more varieties in terms of everything, it is cheaper. It is relatively a very safe country too although I believe Canada will be safer. So why on Earth will anybody move from the US to Canada unless they are ignorant about these factors

It’s also very easy to start your own business in the US also. Many immigrants pool their money together and start their own businesses instead of working for Americans. Example car shops, landscaping, restaurants, hair salons, cleaning services, home improvement, construction- just to name a few. I can tell you the most popular restaurants in my neighborhood are Mexican restaurants and they are always busy, meaning they are likely turning a good profit. These restaurants are run by first generation immigrants who speak broken English. No one cares because the food and margaritas are great. Plenty of Americans are also willing to pay cash under the table - regardless of your immigration status.

Wrong. The job market in Canada is tough because HIGH TAX, high Govt control and regulations, low technology and low research demands so you see so many people with high education only become taxi drivers... USA dominates Canada's advanced technologies so Canada can only do low paying jobs.
I know many many immigrants in high paying jobs. Getting the foot in the door is difficult due to the number of people competing for the jobs. And it is unfair to compare Canada to the US. The US has 10 times the population of Canada, so it is apples to oranges. I really appreciate a spirited discussion and your comments. Thank you so much for watching!
@@ThisSideOfLifeWisdomyes USA have a much larger population, but Switzerland and Singapore have small population, too, but yet with higher personal income. Why don't you compare those two with Canada?
@@ThisSideOfLifeWisdom How the hell were housing prices similar to NYC then? We don't want to increase income and put in more taxes but then the housing prices never go down what kinda logic is that?
The living costs are astounding the problem in Canada is a massive proportion of the land is useless it’s not Arable have swamp in the farm north freezes in winter and to soft in summer , making it very high costs road building and then many house building products have to be freighted in as does groceries the further north you live the higher the costs , and large proportion of the people live close proximity to the US BORDER ,
I'm an 80's baby I can attest that working in Canada has always been a fight. Always Constantly fighting on the job Everyone was a nurse, everyone worked in healthcare. No thank you
Easy to say "Go live in cheaper cities". Yeah, but getting a job in cheaper cities is much more difficult. There are reasons why a city is cheap, right?
when all migrants flock to 2-3 cities, it drives up prices on everything, law of supply and demand, check any major city in the world, it is the same, too many migrants
The taxes in Canada are outrageously astronomical and the government has been too slow to make many drastic changes. Canada is huge in land mass, but about 65% of the place is not habitable. Many intending immigrants are ignorantly optimistic about the place, and they're met with harsh reality of life upon arrival in Canada. Above all, I don't see how Canada would exist without U.S. I might be wrong, but I don't see anything attracting me to Canada.
Every place in Canada is better than some places in Africa or other places in some parts of the world. Better living standards and rights. It is very expensive to live here so may not be an answer for you. I as a Canadian want to see lower levels of immigration for sure.
Immigration to another country is a personal matter. There is no right or wrong answer. But the most important is that you are happy to live in this world with your decision.😊
I have been seeing many of these alarmist video reports about immigrants leaving Canada. Two predominant trends emerge. 1. English language skills are sub-optimal. The question then is if immigrants really want to succeed in Canada why are their English language skills relatively poor? 2. Immigration rates in Canada are the highest in the world. The question then is if more immigrants are coming in why are we concerned when then the number of emigres also increases?
1. To get PR or citizenship you need English or French proficiency. Maybe they should raise the level of fluency required. 2. It costs a lot of government resources to process PR and citizenship applications, immigrants tend to be higher educated, earn more, they make up for the low fertility rates and help support the welfare state so it makes sense to try to keep as many around as you can.
The native Canadians themselves are moving to Europe especially Germany for a greener pasture. Some are still paying students loans. High tax, high medical cost, high cost of living compared to USA, loneliness.etc
Not only Canada but also other democratic/capitalis world become worst places to live as the living costs are rising insanely high especially in the recent years. The economyies are getting worse and worse each year.
In countries where the people have their own house and a piece of land. And where the people do not pay high levels of tax for everything (electric, heating, garbage, house tax, obligatory insurances etc.). @@ThisSideOfLifeWisdom
Russian federation. belarussia. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, former soviet union countries mostly. thailand - these are only one sthat i know. I am from Uzbekistan now living in germany. In uzbekistan about 4-5 million people go abroad to work. But almost %100 of the population have their own houses, and they do not pay for their own houses, electiricity and heating is very cheap. in most cases when one person in a family works it is enough. when two people works you have no problem. Houses also cheap. In germany for example one man in average must work the whole life to buy a house/flat, and %50 percent of germans have no their wown houses. Even they have house they must pay high tax high electricity, heating and garbage, insurance costs. It is a slavery system. and when the economic sysytem in the west collapses, it collapses without any doubt, imagine more than 50-60% people turn to be homeless. Look at the health care system, transport system, different useless state financed projects, infrastructure and constructions. complicated educational system. they are very expensive and obselete. In my own country in uzbekistan the transport system is million times better than in germany. There in uzbekistan i lived in a village and almost in evry 10-15 minutes comes minibus, here in germny you must wait 1 hour, so ithe system forces you to buy a car, pay insurance and diffrerent taxes. another one is healthcare system, in germany almost you have no access to healthcare system because of the old people, strict working hours, they give you appoinmetts after one month even 2-3 months, drugstiores do not sell without doctor prescriptions. I lived in Bolivia, and there i visited the doctor not often, when i am ill i went to a drug store, i explain my problem and drugstore seller advised me medicament and i used it, of course in serious cases it is not good, but in average the people have comon illnesses as grippe, cold, sore throat, itching etc. for these things you do not need to go to a doctor. @@ThisSideOfLifeWisdom
More focus needs to be put on the countries that these immigrants are coming from. There are over 50 Muslim countries in the world that Muslim immigrants can go to, if those muslin countries don't want Muslim immigrants we need to be asking ourselves why?, Why don't other Muslim countries take Muslim immigrants. Are we better than those Muslim countries or are we just more Naïve. Multi cultural countries are failing all over the world, one by one closing their doors because it is not working. Why does this government think that it is above all that, that the Muslims that come here are the good ones..yes Canada only takes good Muslims. Ridiculous...

Welcome to the channel! Thank you so much for watching. I love Jamaica!
Thanks for loving my country 👍🇯🇲
The reason that immigrants are leaving is because they are only using Canada as a stepping stone. Initially they may have wanted to migrate to the US, UK, Australia, etc. but were rejected. So they apply to go to Canada, get entry, stay for a few years, get citizenship and then leave for the country of their choice. I personally know people who did that. They applied to come to Australia, were rejected and went to Canada. They became Canadian citizens and this cleared the way for them to come to Australia. They are now in Australia.
That is a fair point. Thanks for weighing in on the discussion🙏🏾
It is the same problem at all these over rated Western nations. They are not prepared to lose it to the migrants so, it will be a struggle for most migrants anyways. Best thing is to use these countries as their sole intention in general is to use us migrants.
Thanks for this very important tips

A two bedroom now in most parts of Canada is about $2,000 to 2,500.
Thanks for the info. People are really rethinking coming and living in Canada. You really need to do your search. I have lived here for over twenty years and the cost of living has gone up by a mighty lot, yet your pay remain stagnant.

Thanks Diekola. I'm on a Canadian student visa. Hypothetically, if I have assault charges against a senior citizen, does this inhibit my chances of staying in Canada? Thanks in advance.

Dear Honorable Minister,
I will request our Canadian immigration and Canadian border security to stop issuing visas and bringing more Indian students and work permit holder.
Some of them could be Indian secret services agents, they could be cause more trouble for Canadian citizens and Sikh
Most of Indian Hindus are inspired by Modi's party BJP and RSS terrorist organization was involved in killings of Indian Christian , Muslims and other Indian minorities.

Hopefully, this will get better with proposed government policies. Thanks for watching!

There are a lot of jobs but only blue collar jobs i didt come to canada to work in survival jobs
Thanks for watching!
Same with UK , loads of blue collar jobs that no one wants to work. The wages on those jobs are on a rise though

my friend left canada & moved to USA
That happens, also, the other way around. Thanks for watching!
@@kwakutheghostblogger6246ohh may God bless u, u have spoken my mind, ppl decv themselves by saying canada is better, am here now for 6 yrs from US, nothing but expensive life, and cold weather, US is wey better my dear, u have said it all, they can't be compared at all
It’s also very easy to start your own business in the US also.
2 bedroom is over $2000 ..from todays changes in rent prices

Everyone is doing TH-cam uploads on this subject how much income do you get per hit?
Per hit? Technically, not even 0.01c 🙂. Thanks for watching!
@@ThisSideOfLifeWisdom so 100,000 hits is like 10000?
I mean 1000
So you have made 500 bucks lol
@@ThisSideOfLifeWisdom Okay, why don't you talk about the high Canadian tax, much higher than USA tax. That is fair to compare

Easy to say "Go live in cheaper cities". Yeah, but getting a job in cheaper cities is much more difficult. There are reasons why a city is cheap, right?
True. A balance needs to be found. There are alternatives to living in Toronto, Vancouver etc. Thanks for watching!
when all migrants flock to 2-3 cities, it drives up prices on everything, law of supply and demand, check any major city in the world, it is the same, too many migrants

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Much appreciated.
Every place in Canada is better than some places in Africa or other places in some parts of the world. Better living standards and rights. It is very expensive to live here so may not be an answer for you. I as a Canadian want to see lower levels of immigration for sure.
I hear you. Thanks for weighing in and for watching!
Indeed, if personal safety is something that you are facing daily in your current country, Canada may be a better option.

Immigration to another country is a personal matter. There is no right or wrong answer. But the most important is that you are happy to live in this world with your decision.😊
I agree. Different strokes for different folks. God's plan for everyone is different. Thanks for watching!
Your points are valid. Thanks for weighing in and for watching!
Thank you for listening logically rather than ideologically. @@ThisSideOfLifeWisdom

In countries where the people have their own house and a piece of land. And where the people do not pay high levels of tax for everything (electric, heating, garbage, house tax, obligatory insurances etc.). @@ThisSideOfLifeWisdom
@@super20187 Great. Can you give examples? Thanks!

I hope there are. People need to be informed so they can make the right decisions. Thanks for watching!
