@homelander4926 Yes, that is true. But most people can understand English more than any other language. I missed parts where Ursula speaks in French or German. It is fantastic that she can speak so many languages, but you know...practicaly it is not helpful....It wasn't complaining just only, you know...

German and French speaking areas combined are like half of the EU. Europeans learn German, French, Italian, Spanish and English languages in their elementary schools, high schools and universities for DECADES now. For example besides my own Yugoslav language i also know Italian very well. ALL of these speeches could be in Italian and i will understands them very well. Same way huge number of EU citizens KNOW German, French or Spanish languages very well. I know Spanish language somewhat too. The ACCENT of the EU in the following years should be EXACTLY learning the TOP few languages of the EU. Europeans in general KNOW the languages of their neighbours if those languages are solid in size of the speakers.
Just shame you are. Not a leader.

I do not know what part of competetiveness she is talking about...China won on the electric cars. They produce the best, most advance and cheaper ones in the world. Europe sucumbed to the oil lobbies and for decades did all it could to stop inovation. Now it has lost the race and its competitiveness measures, while defending free market, is to impose inflationary tarifs as high as 38% on chinese cars. Wasn't she worried about how europeans were poorly bearing the cost of living?

In the EU regard, Brussels needs to start resembling Washington D.C. now more than ever. The EU needs to become a solid and independent block of steel and kevlar regarding unity, will, deciveness and military financial allocations, production of armament and defensive response.
Establish indefinite pre-Brexit trade connections with the UK as soon as possible.
Explicitly define stricter and faster semi-permeabile migration rules and procedures based on every single experience had to this day.
Invest heavily in Spain, France and Italy in order to secure industrial and agricultural jobs for migrants from Africa and Middle East who are already allowed to stay on their territories, based on a realistic assessment of the pre-existing conditions, possibilities and needs of the regions.
Develop and grow Clean energy industry without forcing it on cars, the number of electric cars should increase by a natural progression and interest, not by a request of law.
Regulations regarding farming and food must be brought to pre-pandemic levels.
