I love the stone looking vase (with the candy wrappers lol) I would like it to stay unpainted. I think the existing color has character and looks like ancient art. The favorite basket shown again at the end is my favorite too! It reminds me of those wicker throne chairs.

Ha the one with the candy wrappers! I am 95% sure that one will stay unpainted. No promises though haha. 🙊

With those black/copper bowls, you can drill some holes and attach a black chain to turn them into a double plant hanger!

Yes, I agree with Samantha Shinn - we need a part 2. If I had the yellow/white vase with wood, I would take off the yellow paint so it's all white and I would add touches of gold to the wood. (But that's just me and I love white and gold.) And the basket that's your favorite - I see the large holes and think I would try weaving macrame cord somehow... Thank you Dahlia - still loving your videos!

I loved this video. So many times I’m thrifting and see interesting unique pieces I love but have no idea what to do with them in my house. Also loved seeing the wooden bowl at the end. My favorite item was the basket with the unusual checkered woven pattern. I love the vase with bamboo accents. If the bamboo can be removed for painting and then replaced that would be perfect then you could texture or paint it. Could it be taped off effectively? If not I'd try removing the yellow finish with acetone. Maybe test a spot under the area already marked up?? You really got a great haul and found some very unusual items!

The first vase you showed,I'd remove the 2 canes and paint all cream or add some grey, then add the canes back. The jug with sweetie wrappers in it needs paint asap cream. 2 bowls that are gold inside are Budda bowls but put a tea light in it and it'll glow beautifully.

Great finds! I love all the baskets and the vase with the wood, please don't take the wood detail off, it's what gives it that boho vintage vibe, you could just paint a small section all around the top to cover what's come off get in as close to the bamboo detailing as you can, or alternatively, paint on a boho pattern along the top to cover the parts where the paint has come off. I love thrift stores or second hand stores as we call them here in the U.K., but ours are still temporarily closed ATM :-(
