Happens in Australia mate 10 years in Karratha and you ripped. The old saying is you can afford it you work in the mines. The problem with overseas investment in Australia with property at the moment is huge can't rent. houses are going up people living in tents I don't wish that on any country .

There is absolutely no equality in the Philippines if there is a dispute between a foreigner and a Filipino. My missus and I had a spat recently, which caused her to 'lose face' in front of the neighbours, so her immediate response was to call the cops. The police attitude is always to take the side of the Filipino complainant so I was prepared for that but it soon became evident that I had done nothing wrong, either morally or legally. I must add, that there is no history of abuse in our relationship - in fact she has chucked a glass at my head and has been quite handy with her fists - not that it bothers me. I spent a few hours at the cop-shop where it materialised that I was faultless. I was released without charge or even a warning, and a lift home plus apologies and merely a suggestion that we 'work it out between ourselves'. My wife had simply 'lost face' because I objected to her unreasonable behaviour by 'raising my voice' and scolding her and that was witnessed by other people.
Chucked a glass at your head and fists and all...and it doesn't bother you. And she calls cops on you? Now if we have kids and I think their lives will suffer if we separate, fine. Otherwise I am NEVER gonna live with such a person. Not in the Philippines, not anywhere under the sun 😂

In some places it is even official..most of entertainment places we visited in Malaysia and Singapore had different prices for locals and foreigners
