Excellent video! Is Drum Major Rodda leaving the Army? Or just moving to another position? He's become a favorite of mine! Wouldn't like to see him go!
@@militaryevents107 Oh I see, I did hear that they were getting ready for deployment. Good to know that he hasn't left! Great video! But you've left me jobless! Lol (Since you added the marches) 🤣
if DM Rodda has finished being a DM he won't be one of the DMs for Trooping the Colour in June, will he? I was just becoming a fan, too! Lovely video, Military Events...and thanks for your comprehensive list of who is doing what in it and when.
@@ArmedForcesVideos7 thanks for the info. Do you happen to know who the DMs will be on this year's very special trooping? I'm guessing that Chambers will be one.
Thanks, I see you've asked this question a few times so I'll answer. Red sash wearers are either Sergeants, Colour Sergeants or Warrant Officers. Some British Army regiments have Staff Sergeants instead of Colour Sergeants.
If I'm not mistaken the Wind instruments come from various companies, I believe the French horns are supplied by Gebrüder Alexander. Or at least that's what some of the musicians in the Band of the Coldstream Guards have. Most bands use Pearl Viscount Snare Drums and Bass Drums, Cymbals are also supplied by different companies. For example Sabian, Zildjian, or Meinl. Depends on the Bands really. So there's not a sole supplier. Hope this helps!
@@delvinrodriguez3341 Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if the snare/bass drums were Pearl Viscount or if they were part of the Premier 97 Military series. In fairness, they are very similar in style and design and the sound will not vary too much as the actual snare set up is near identical. I would imagine they will be supplied direct from Pearl or Premier
@@j-larne If I'm not mistaken they are supplied directly, but I'm not 100% sure on that! Wish I could get one of those Viscounts Snare Drums with the dual snares!
You noticed that well to hear the oboe played by the Band of the Grenadier Guards! Usually he is drowned out in forte parts. Nice video ME!
Thanks mate!
Thanks for posting this video and providing the names and start times of each march.
Great video buddy!
Thanks mate!
Really good!!!

@@susandreger-epps3676 most likely be chambers, Fitzgerald, possibly the drum sergeants if they are allowed
@@susandreger-epps3676 I’m not too sure, I know that Drum Major Carson is returning to attend the troop.
Awesome video!! Do you use a gimbal when videoing, if so what kind? Great job!!
Spectacular video, I got a question, if the scots guards are formed in 1642 why are the coldstream guards older
Great Video! Will you be covering the changing of the Guard in Windsor this weekend?
Yes.

Does anyone know who the instrument supplier is to the army/armed forces as a whole? Certainly the percussion?

@@delvinrodriguez3341 They are definitely available but they are not cheap. The start from around £950
@@j-larne Here in the US that would be around 1,000 dollars! The price is what is preventing me from getting one! But maybe one day!
Looks like an old video re-upload
No, this was the 6th of February 2022.
