In Montreal, we used to have access to very good restaurants in each terminal with Priority Pass card. Now, with Dragon Pass, we have access to two lounges if travelling internationally, and almost nothing if we travel domestically or transborder to the US. Such a loss. Basically, I can use my Dragon Pass only if I travel internationally, most probably to Europe. Not in Canada or USA. Dragon Pass is not even available at most airports in the US. :(
This is so unfortunate. I fly from YVR to YYC once a month and won't have any access to any lounges in YYC. The Elevation Lounge will no longer be accessible and both the Aspire Lounges are in the International / USA side. :(

There are a bunch of restaurants listed on DragonPass recently from Canada. I am not talking about Visa or Mastercard by drangonpass (that gives you 20% off) I am talking about simple annual fee dragonpass. In Asia, it says a set meal is offered at a lot of restaurants and they look pretty nice especially ones in Japan but I find no infos in Canada. Did anyone get a meal and how was the experience?

Even Visa Signature allows 12 visits per year. Mastercard World also allows unlimited visits via DragonPass while World Elite allows cardholder + guess, unlimited. Canadians are being taken for a ride by Visa and Mastercard.
Geez all this complication, to access often very average lounges that are little more than waiting rooms. I’ve streamlined all of this by flying Business and only using airline lounges and I’ve ditched all cards except American Express plus one no-frills and low fee MasterCard for emergencies.It’s actually soothing!

If you’re in the USA often enough, it might make sense to invest some effort into establishing and building some US credit history. Then, You’ll have then some more interesting premium card offering accessible to you, without any drama, visit limits, and much better reward rates.
