    His pleasant attitude glowed.
    Optimistic, he did his best.
    Unfailing gratitude showed
As he preached the gospel to bless.

My wife and I were carrying our little girl in the baby carrier, when he walked into the room and said "What a cute picnic basket you got there!" We laughed. He was SUCH a wonderful man. Wyoming will miss you Elder Perry. May the Lord comfort your family in your absence.

May the Lord bless you and your family. I know that that He lives and loves us all. He is no respector of persons and regardless of denomination, we are all His children. Recently there was a Vatican Summit discussing the vital role husband and wife are to the family. Mormon leaders spoke at that conference, even the concluding speaker.. Highlighting "The Family - A Proclamation To the World -." I invite you to read it. Christian membership should never be about the numbers, but rather for hearts being turned to the Savior.

Un grand homme nous a quitté. Nous gardons un bon souvenir de son passage à Tahiti où il a touché et changé la vie de nombreuses personnes. Au revoir Elder Perry.

Ok thanks for sharing it. Go to the Catholics. If you live in America we both live in free countries, we are free to worship God according to what we want

I believe in a God not created by men, my testimony came through revelation from Him. If my religion doesn't have any proof of its truthfulness good! I'm going to the right direction, by the way in this world we are meant to live by faith not by men proofs

Of course! ! He now knows ALL things (and he knew a lot to begin with! )
      L. Tom Perry...one of my "go-to" guys for something truly inspiring! I love his friendly round face...He looks a lot like my own dad- of kind spirit- only a head taller! They left in almost the same quick manner, too. Hope they meet up there...L. Tom and Tom J.! 😊

it doesn't even mention what he died from . I didn't even know he was sick! There were no indications from his last conference talk!

DJmicaiah He died from thyroid cancer that began to spread quickly to the rest of his body. It was something pretty sudden, but there were a few articles about him being in the hospital for it a bit ago. I'm not sure what month that was.

DJmicaiah From what I read, it had only been about 40 days from when hew as diagnosed until he died. He had cancer. So sad. He must have been needed on the other side.

DJmicaiah He's looked sick for some time now. Last conference hubby and I both said we wondered if he would make it to next conference. He was 92. These people can't live forever.
