What an amazing Apostle! How touching it is to have someone publicly remind us all that they are PEOPLE first and refugees later. It is the PEOPLE we reach out to in love. ...And, if someone should choose to hurt us for that kindness, then should we not suffer it and feel priviledged to share company with the likes of the people of Ammon, who were threatened and eventually attacked because they refused to turn away the poor refugees from the Zoromites?

My mother and her sisters were shipped from West Germany to Poland to "protect" them during the war. A horrific experience.

We really should do all that we can to help others. We have been richly blessed with unique gifts, and resources from the Lord and what better way to use those gifts than to reach out and help someone else. ALL the people, ALL of them, on this planet are children of our Heavenly Father and helping others is a small way of saying 'Thank you" to God. ♥
