If you ever need a mandarin, korean, or thai translator please reach out to me! You need someone on your side for cases like this one. Also, seems like the trucks come when you all are there. Maybe trying a stake out when you've sent your own package? Catch them receiving, signing, and what they do with it before the confrontation. That way you can call police with money in their hands. You guys are doing such an unbelievable job and most likely don't get thanked enough. I commend you all for everything you do💖 never give up🤗
YESSSS....They could have called the police as soon as the UPS truck arrived...the UPS driver could have been told to wait till the police arrived. He said the Chinese gave him the car...They has everything on him with the actual victim package showing up on camera. 😳🙄
YEARS later, almost every mule found has been a foreign person, yet Still they have not thought to figure out the most likely language via the surnames of delivery, and bring a translator... or even use the translator on their own phones .
My grandmother got conned out of $40,000 from this same very scam. My first thought was to head to the address they gave her and try to intercept the package and catch whoever was picking it up, but it was all the way across the country and at that point it was too late. I wanted to find whoever was behind it and teach them a lesson so bad. So glad you guys are doing this, good work! 😀👍
I would have had law enforcement intercept the package with my relatives $40k in it. I get angry every time these twits pretend they cannot understand English and expect a free pass. SuchBS!
The guy on the phone is the real "owner" / mastermind person. It's so funny how every word they were saying in Chinese, ended up being all captioned out 😂
@@MrMusic55123 Trilogy can be pretty slow when they're in the mix. No-one calls 'a friend' they call their boss. All along Trilogy is asking the mule to give up the ID of the very dude that's on the phone. LOL.
Everyone seems to have forgotten how he rapidly answered to the question "You know what's inside?" at 13:58 with "Yeah, that's books." At that moment, if instead of straight up trying to corner him, if the fake delivery guy would've gotten super interested in the book topic, he could've gotten the man to start talking about "What kind of books?", "Got any recommendations for me?" and so on. By doing this, you further force the receiver of the package to confirm that it is his and on top of that, you grant him more time to talk proper english, which you can later use to counter the "I don't speak english" fake argument, enforced by the conversation around the topic of the package's content you had. Good luck in your hunts, and make sure you send those collected infos to the FBI.
That's exactly what I was thinking too. I was wondering why they didn't point out how the details like him only visiting a friend, ordering a book not match up. But it's not as easy as watching a video about scambaiting. Once you're in the moment it is intense. 😁 But yes, your suggestion of asking more about the books is very good. 👍
SP isn’t an amateur, Art isn’t, he used to be a professional basketball player for Russia but Ashton’s younger and also an amateur but they’re getting better. All the information is immediately shared with law enforcement from both the receiver and the senders end always. Pierogi works with the feds and is a cyber security expert.
In the future, you guys should have a translator app for situations like these . Because this can be really dangerous, they can be planning to kill you

Public humiliation via articles/social media is a way of punishment. Just expose them, show their faces in public and they'll get what they deserve from society because It's really impossible to jail all scammers considering they are from all over the world while scamming people from different countries, we can only catch big group scammers. Even the number of cyber crimes increased drastically each year, we're talking 1 attack in every 30 seconds approximately. "Scammed" needs to get a mainstream T.V. show a.s.a.p! This will help susceptible victims tremendously! Most of this demographic (the elderly) doesnt use TH-cam, or in some cases even the internet. However, they do, watch T.V. So this needs to get atleast featured on the news or have a running series.
@@aprilleerose ok, agreed, mainstream may have been the wrong word. I'm just trying to think of the best way for this information to reach the victims who dont watch TH-cam, or use the internet. What are you talking about? These scams never involve US law enforcement officers, and regardless, the US has no jurisdiction in the country of india, where all of the scam call centers are located. It's india's cbi and law enforcement that's at fault here.
I just received a call from "social security" for the very first time in my life . I played with the indian lady named Officer Smith for a good 20 minutes until I busted laughing because she told me don't get smart with her when I was sooo calm. She wanted to hear fear but I wasn't giving it to her. After I laughed because I couldn't hold it I asked her if she was in DC she hung up on me. You guys are amazing, Jim, Pierogi, all the scam baiters of the world are deeply appreciated. People keep spreading the word. That call center sounded really busy so they're calling a lot of others I just hope the scammers times are wasted. Love you all for what you do.
Why didn't the guys just call police while the UPS was there, now won't it just go to the scammers another box full of money? At least that one could have been saved. I didn't understand why they let the UPS drive off if it had been redirected?
@@Saxoncloset plenty of times I see these guys poorly playing their hand or giving away all of the information they have before they even know if the person is a knowing participant or not. I have watched your videos and that seems to be the one main thing you guys do. Run up too quickly. Take time...Love these videos.
Yea Frfr we be giving them some good advice and some good constructive criticism but it seems like they ignore us cause there are way too many comments saying this or something similar but seems like they are not fans of criticism even though we state that we love the content
You win some, you lose some .. but you shook them up enough to now know that they can't do this as easily as they were doing it for so long. Hats off to your entire crew. God bless !
They could easily have called the cops when the ups truck was there and had the guy arrested. They didn't bother. They were more concerned with getting him to sign a media release form. Not cool
While there is some amount of satisfaction in watching these scammers being caught and confronted, it would be better if you had the legal authorities involved so that these people could be arrested and prosecuted under the law.
Agreed, I'd think they'd communicate with local authorities to have PD nearby incase anything goes wrong, or as in this case if they happen to catch a criminal red-handed.
That's only if the authorities would actually do something. But more times than not having police join then would probably make this harder to approach
You guys and Scammer Payback need to work with Jim Browning. The 3 teams are so strong alone, but together could be even better. Great job to Trilogy and Pierogi!
maybe add kitaboga to keep them busy after they had collected evidence and proof. reason being, the more time wasted for them the more money they lose.
Good morning Boys! This made me so angry. I wish you could’ve understood him there and not days later. He knew exactly what he was there to do and to pick up. There’s no doubt in my mind. You did shine a light on the roaches and they scattered.

@@MrEufemia Problem is *in flagrante delicto* clause. If the mule accepted the package, then police would have taken the mule more seriously. She now has to be supported by relatives. We tried for two years to help her but she was convinced she wasn’t being scammed. It is sad to see how they have broken her spirit and put her in poverty.

If there is a Divine timing - this was it 😂 and actually showing the real package, with the aluminum foil, they may just saved someone. Such a shame they couldn’t see who sent it to reach out.
Think you should have let him take the package and had a hidden microphone inside it, so when they open the package and see no money you can hear everything that's going on
Call immigration... deport, deport, deport. I am so happy you guys have all the info so it can be followed up on for all the departments. You are totally awesome and there to investigate.

All they had to do was google for a voice translater and they could have had it translated by an app real time. They bungled this big time. They don't need to have cops on stand by with them. But they SHOULD have called the cops when the ups truck was there and they figured out he really was the mule. The guy would have been arrested and likely given up his contacts. Instead they just didn't bother, and got the video for their channel. More concerned with getting the guy to sign the media release than they were actually catching the scammers. This video really pissed me off.

Few pointers fellas: 1. Have the person delivering the package verbally engage the suspect more. Look on the side of the box, ask them to repeat the address or name & even ask for ID (many expensive packages have sig tracking & you must sign for it). This is your biggest opportunity to get them to talk willingly & honestly BEFORE cameras or anythings brought out Another 15 seconds would make a huge difference with the proper questions asked. I'd say I'm looking for a "James Chen" they'll say that's me! Or whatever. Few videos I watched you guy's jumped the gun way too quickly. 2. Do NOT let them do that no speak eh English bit anymore. I also wouldn't allow them to call anyone till they give you something & even then I probably wouldn't unless it furthers the investigation. That was his excuse to buy time, think & get his lies prioritized. Also, there adults if they lie to you assume they have already lied, then their lying about everything else because why wouldn't they? No hands in pockets (get hurt that way), deft no leaving the scene (what if he went & grabbed a gun in his car). Very possible as these cells go deep & high up possibly with gang/mafia ties. 3. Don't let ANYONE else speak for the suspect, period. The lady in the apt (guys wife in other video) & this dude on the phone did absolutely nothing but hinder, disturb, & prolong the investigation. Nip it in the bud, quick. Your too polite with them (their criminals & trust me a little harsh language won't hurt them). Your job is to get the answers you want in the quickest way possible. I'd also ask them to sit down or lead them somewhere geographicaly that's adventagous for you. You know what the usual excuses will be by now. Have your answers & counter questions already prepared. Also taking notes makes it "seem" like your police & doing a official report. I'd do alot of little things like that to give the idea your police (walkie talkies, handcuffs, etc). Just carrying certain items around with you may garner much easier cooperation.
Wow. I was getting frustrated with this guy and all his lying. I did notice the nervous shirt thing the guy was doing and covering his face more and more in the beginning before they called him on it. This is amazing thank you for making this! I commend you all for everything you do💖 never give up🤗
You would have thought they would have had that aspect covered, instead of letting the scammer call another scammer lol
YESSSS....They could have called the police as soon as the UPS truck arrived...the UPS driver could have been told to wait till the police arrived.
He said the Chinese gave him the car...They has everything on him with the actual victim package showing up on camera. 😳🙄
That's actually incredible that you are fluent in so many languages
❤
YEARS later, almost every mule found has been a foreign person, yet Still they have not thought to figure out the most likely language via the surnames of delivery, and bring a translator... or even use the translator on their own phones .
Ashton is brilliant at conversing and bringing the situation down a level to make the mules feel relaxed so they talk... brilliant psychology
SuchBS!
Jesus! 40000 dollars !it takes a grown up man like me 4 years to save that much money .I am so sorry I hope your nan is doing okay !look after her !
The guy on the phone is the real "owner" / mastermind person.
It's so funny how every word they were saying in Chinese, ended up being all captioned out 😂
That guy on the phone rerouted other packages
@@MrMusic55123 Trilogy can be pretty slow when they're in the mix. No-one calls 'a friend' they call their boss.
All along Trilogy is asking the mule to give up the ID of the very dude that's on the phone.
LOL.
The guy on the phone is the boss..
But yes, your suggestion of asking more about the books is very good. 👍
True . I can only imagine how much adrenaline is running through the exposers .
They are amateurs

Public humiliation via articles/social media is a way of punishment. Just expose them, show their faces in public and they'll get what they deserve from society because It's really impossible to jail all scammers considering they are from all over the world while scamming people from different countries, we can only catch big group scammers.
Mainstream tv would ruin it and it wouldn’t help as many people as you think.

This was a great intercept guys! You're uncovering the workings of these networks and giving valuable insights to the police. This is a victory!
Few pointers fellas:
1. Have the person delivering the package verbally engage the suspect more. Look on the side of the box, ask them to repeat the address or name & even ask for ID (many expensive packages have sig tracking & you must sign for it). This is your biggest opportunity to get them to talk willingly & honestly BEFORE cameras or anythings brought out
Another 15 seconds would make a huge difference with the proper questions asked.
Your work is very needed. Terrific Job. YT. Hates for people to leave truthful accurate statements, most Americans appreciate your work.

While I appreciate what you guys are doing, take it from a retired Law Enforcement Officer, you are putting yourselves at serious risk. These “money mules” know that what they are doing is criminal and they will hurt you to protect themselves! Be careful who you confront!
Agree with you 100% Janet. But its rather obvious that the officials are not doing enough to stop this sort of thing when they can track this guy down so easily. I have always respected LEO's .. But i really have to question just what the heck the FBI is really doing.
@@daveno8432 FBI is doing absolutely nothing, if a couple of guys can do this, FBI should be able to do this with ease, especially when they're trained.
Totally agree nobody is doing anything to shut these scum down thank God for these guys
No LEO is going to do anything that detracts from feeding their egos, or revenue enhancement.
That is why many seek alternative methods, minus any filters to dilute an outcome.
The law fails, unless they benefit.
If I was the scammer I would have pointed a gun at them and shoot cartel style no questions asked. Hands down.
I never saw someone decrease their english level so smoothly like this guys and his "translator"
The music that kicks in at around 9 minutes is mixed a tough too high just for future consideration, lol just had to run across my apartment cause I was listening to the start of the vid and then it started bumping like crazy. Keep it up guys, one of my newest favorite youtube channels and genres in general
Good work guys and you’re not wasting your time every time somebody hears or watches any of your videos we pass it on
So funny they're scamming them right in their face🤣
From South Africa, I would just like to say BRAVO!!!!
You guys certainly rock
Build your team by taking on translators and get a FBI contact you can link with, so they can assist you through the legal process(s) and possibly even get the local police involved when you need them.
Your effort is GLOBALY APPRECIATED. Well done
yeah right.. south africa
BUSTEDDDDD I love that he fell right into their trap calling the person who had him do this. Just wish they had a translator on site
So it seems, with this and the older video of you guys, a big chinese gang is handling for the Indian call centers. This operation is HUGE. You guys have balls of steel, but you are doing huge work uncovering this stuff. Bless you, stay safe and best wishes with future operations. Keep it coming!
Be careful also you never know what's up with these scammers
Could be Triads or something.
@@Streetw1s3r Probably..... it’s beyond belief that these bastards think it’s ok to scam innocent people!
Holy cow! I can't get packages delivered to my own house with explicit delivery directions and these scammers can reroute a felony package with a snap of the fingers. What is the world coming to?!!
Yup I ordered Crocs with my address and it never came. They returned it. With the Oreo cookie is going on. I hope they all get arrested
my uber eats driver could even not find my adress lol
It the new "Liberal World Order" one big happy World with the Rich Crooks running everything! Don't that sound perfect we can all be poor together!
@@rogerzhang1228 I do delivery on DD and UE. Some places are genuinely hard to find as someone who doesn't know the area, and sometimes the GPS will take me to the wrong place. Some drivers do have a hard time finding addresses in general from what I've read; that's on them. But unless your address is really obvious and clear to find (simple suburban area with house number on both the house and mailbox for example) I wouldn't be quick to blame the driver.
Actually need to get GPS trackers and put on the car next time without them knowing
That is not going to do much, he is driving back to the Rent-a-car or some other place and leaving that car behind.
What could be of help is knowing who paid for the car and Airbnb, I guess it’s not him.
I'm pretty sure its expensive and illegal to do That.
