I highly suggest all singles (including people in relationships) to make a list of non-negotiables. These are things that you are looking for in a spouse and that you will not give up. Wow!! You gave such great advice with the questions! I loved hearing your responses. I’m sure it’s definitely helping people reflect upon things. Another thing with exes and breakups - we grow as people from it. Looking back, you can always find something that going through that made you stronger or maybe you helped them in some way. A couple of exes ago, I dealt with a guy that I felt like I had to walk on eggshells with. He was an amazing person except for when he’d get in his moods. We ended up not working out but I did get him to go see someone and with therapy and meds, it changed his whole outlook on life and he’s doing so much better. So even though we didn’t work out, it made me feel so much better that I left that impact on his life and he’s living a better life as a result. His family even messaged me and thanked me for helping him and I’ve remained friends with everyone. 💙
