Your advice is so good girl! I found out 14 days into our quarantine that my husband has been having "online affairs". I was so incredibly disappointed and hurt by this and I forced him to talk to me. Turns out we never really had a good foundation. We thought we did and we both wanted it but we never did. My husband is not emotional with me and that pushed me away and therefore I wasnt emotional with him. We haven't been there for each other as we should have been. Right now I'm struggling with this whole situation but praying and reading Gods Word has made a difference. I strongly strongly encourage people take a step back and see everything for what it is, and involve God in everything! I dont know what the future holds for me, but I do know I'm lifting my life/future up in prayer and God is fighting my battles. 🧡
When you were talking about guarding your heart it reminded me of a quote from a pastor, Matt Mahar. He said something along these lines " A man who is after Gods heart will treat your heart tenderly"

That was so good thank you Jeanine! One thing I realised from my first relationship it quickly became not peacful like you mentioned and so many red flags for sure. He was a great guy but not for me. When ever I am ready for my next relationship Ive learned that it is good for the boundries and to speak those when that time has come.
