You really found a winner there. I gotta say i like it. Im so happy to see affordable without a liner/frame lock. Im still a big fan of valsteed i like how they are trying different locks. That's something i want to support. I like companies willing to experiment. Haven't seen your videos in a while ive been following you a long time. Glade to see your doing well my friend.
Honestly I wouldn’t complain about 10cr at any of the prices that you find 14c at, I’ve heard it described as Chinese vg10 a bunch of times and I don’t have a problem with it or vg10 as long as it’s on a budget knife
I love the looks and the shape of the blade. I have a Bugout and I didn't like the blue handles so I ordered titanium handles and now I love it. I don't like light knives and I really don't like the red blade.
all blade coatings will wear with use ranging from light to moderately heavy aside from genuine DLC (diamond-like carbon) which is incredibly hard and extremely durable and will take much much much longer to show wear if it shows any at all even with very extensive heavier usage. it also very much depends what youre doing with your knives. opening packages and other very light tasks? a simple painted or PVD coating should last quite a long time without much wear or marring. chewing through yards of double wall cardboard or other similar heavier cutting tasks frequently? a simple painted or PVD coating is likely going to show wear pretty dang fast regardless of quality. I've had black PVD (what the vast majority of coated knives are) get light markings from cutting cardboard a single time before and some that look brand new after extensive light use. if you want a coated blade + great wear resistance DLC is pretty much the only option. tho be careful as sometimes some cheaper black coated knives will say DLC when its just plain black PVD not actual genuine DLC. hope this helps
It’s supposed to be basically chinese vg10 and in my experience both 10cr and vg10 are very nice budget steels, as long as your not paying too much then it’s a great steel
Great review. Thanks for sharing
I’d love to see them move the stop pin and a steel upgrade
Love the design
My first thought, when I saw the blade was the Bestech Slasher.
yeah, similar.
I like the look of the knife, especially the shape and color of the blade.
Just ordered the purple G10 one yesterday can't wait to get it. Great review bro.
Cool piece, buddy! Thanks for the look at this one!

thank you
I love my Ronin, I wish they'd made this in the same 14C28N. I like the blade shape and the overall design but I don't like the 10CR.
From what I’ve read on 10cr it’s essentially VG-10
Very cool knife I like it too thanks for sharing Jay
Neat lil slicer
Cleavfoot Looks good 👍🏻
Look cool, thanks! 👍🏼
I really hope they make a more premium version of it.

Also, Civivi has plenty of 9CR at that price or more.

Bestech xl slasher be right up your alley. It’s perfect weight and size. 4 oz 3.5inch blade I scored one for $35 🔥 best axis lock knife I have
yeah, I don't usually either.
Reverse-Sheepstoe!
Is the red paint cheap? Like will it eventually scrape off with a decent amount of use?

it hasn't on mine yet.
Like that look
That is cool
Slicing machine, eh? Looks decent. Thanks Jay.
How's 10CR?

👍🍻
Nice one Jay!
Duncan Corduroy says Hi to your cats from Maine
hey thanks
the blade is a fat warny !
Looks horrendous 😕
