    I’m new to crochet. Why is it necessary to put a slip stitch into every chain on the loop rather than just tying off the connection with a slip stitch? :)
    Thank you for this tutorial, I’m going to be trying this out! This is the first time I’ve seen someone do double strings! Amazing

    hi! thank you so much for this, it was helpful and informative, just have one question. do you think that thin yarns would work for this kind of pattern? or do i get thick yarns for this?

    • @Angelknitstoo
      @Angelknitstoo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, you can use thin yarns but to make it thicker you can add more strands, double or triple pull.

    I have tons of redheart jumbo yarn which is 100% acrylic. Can I use this instead of cotton? Thank you very much for making this video🙂

    • @Angelknitstoo

      Yes you can.

      I personally would not use Acrylic. You are safer with 100% cotton.

    When you started your second row, did you also go in the back bump or in the entire stitch hole? Not sure if I'm using the right words for this since I am a real beginner. Thank you so much

    • @Angelknitstoo
      @Angelknitstoo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I use the stitch where we normally do the single crochet. As you said, the entire stitch hole.

      Nice pot holder. You started your measuring at 1 instead of of 0. So it 6 1/2 inches

  • @user-Elle41
    @user-Elle41 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    IT HELPS TO CHAIN 1 AT THE END OF EACH ROUND TO GAIN ALTITUDE FOR THE NEXT ROUND. THE EDGES WON’T CURL.

      These are hand dyed cotton yarns. Sad to say these are from the Philippines.

    What is the total length of the yarn you used? It's tangling when I just take it from the reel.. I'm just going to cut it.

    • @Angelknitstoo
      @Angelknitstoo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will work, make it double pull though.

    • @eduplessis9482
      @eduplessis9482 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Do a flame test on the yarn... if it melts rather than burn/go out, then do not use. It could melt if you use it on hot things coming out of the oven.

  • @emilyoconnor4581
    @emilyoconnor4581 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi! Instead of using a double pull, could I just use bulkier yarn?

    • @Angelknitstoo
      @Angelknitstoo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can but with some adjustments on the number of stitches and rows.

    It's actually @ 6.5 inches because you placed the tape measure starting at 1, not 0.

    • @Angelknitstoo
      @Angelknitstoo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh ok. I always start my measurement with 1 instead of 0. It confuses me though. Thanks
