But I genuinely find this botched performance endearing. Shows that Nothing But Thieves and the man fronting them are the real deal. I've probably watched Conor deliver close to 100 lives impeccable vocal performances to know what he's capable of. Seeing him fail once makes me appreciate the gruelling work that goes into every single one of them, and this performance is no exception.

Absolutely beautiful.
One of the many things I love about Conor is that he can laugh at himself and carry on when he messes up, not that I’ve ever heard him miss a note live but I have seen him forget or mess up lyrics, and he just takes it in his stride and owns it. If I messed up in front of thousands of people I think I’d run off stage and cry 😁 but he is so self-assured and accepting of himself. He’s just a beautiful soul really.

I am going to suggest it’s just in the wrong key. But more by instinct than really knowing as an educated musician. It’s in a part of Conor’s range that just isn’t best. Happens with crossover songs - male to female and vice versa. Of course Conor struggles and it sounds better than most singers when it’s perfect for them.
They actually played this song on their livestream concert. I recorded it. It was a solid performance then. Maybe one of my favorites. (Unfortunately no ones uploaded it.) I think his ear pieces were bothering him in this stage, or some other influence that affected him. :/
Because I still watch that livestream performance often. This one is hard for me to get through because I can see him struggling.
He's struggled when I've seen them live, he happens to be sick whenever he comes to Chicago. It's hard to watch, but we have to root for him in these times the most.

They played it in the Livestream Shows "At the Warehouse". Might be deleted due to copyright. It kinda reminds me of Wings tho, which they covered at the live lounge. Might be a chance that you meant that
