If you are still active on this account, thank you so much for uploading this!! I was looking for the original but could only find live performances. It’s really really amazing how this seemingly insignificant song they made all the way back then is still performed in their tours. Really shows how incredible they are. And I wonder what the sample at 4:00 is, I haven’t heard it in any of the newer renditions of this song.
Iv been searching for a breakbeat/Jungle track that uses this same siren loop for YEARS Song starts with same siren sample and then drops into more of a breakbeat style song with the sirens in the background :( maybe one day ill find it lol
The Chemicla brothers were called 'The Dust Brothers' as a tribute to the original Dust Brothers. They were then forced to rename themselves the Chemical Brothers.
@@alanreid5304 Because he's correct. There was a hip-hop band in the US already established in 1985 called The Dust Brothers. (They're commonly associated buy their involvement with The Beastie Boys). When known, they (Chemical brothers) obviously had to change their name just to be able to start a proper career, and to avoid inevitable lawsuits.
No they are two different groups. But the Chemicals were first called "the Dust Brothers' as atribute to them. They were later forced to change their names to the Chemical Brothers.
i got this presed the same on both sides with a phone number on_white label wi green print for a 99p from circles records in rotherham..they had to change their name cos o the dust bros in america not long after or something??..just noticed that it's the same as the one spinning in the vid hehe..too busy typing! always thought it'd be a bit rare
Not to be confused with The Chemical Brothers. The Dust Brothers are the Los Angeles, California based, Grammy Award winning producers, E.Z. Mike (Michael Simpson[1]) and King Gizmo (John King), famous for their sample-based music in the 1980s and 1990s, and specifically for their work on the albums Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys, Odelay by Beck, and the soundtrack to the film Fight Club

@ukhouseRJ The Chemical Brothers made this single under the name of the Dust Brothers in the early '90s before the name change.
No they are two different groups. But the Chemicals were first called "the Dust Brothers' as atribute to them. They were later forced to change their names to the Chemical Brothers.
This is the original.

This is actually The Chemical Brothers before they change their name because of the Los Angeles band copyright.
