A few years back now, I was out for the night in Birmingham city centre. We were in a bar on Broad St, and The Prodigy had played that night at the Indoor Arena close by. The bar was already busy, but filled to bursting point after the gig had finished. The DJ clearly noticed, and at the perfect moment dropped about six Prodigy numbers on the bounce, and the place went off the dial. We'd seen them the night before, and it was brilliant to feel the energy from their gig return again the next night. 1996 I took my first hit of acid and pure mdma at the same time, this was one of the tracks I remember the most from that first experience. I was 14 years old at my first rave in Fort Lauderdale. Ended up on the dance floor absolutely going nuts for hours. For the next 7 years I was absolutely hooked! This original techno music is really what got me hooked! The raves back then were absolutely incredible! No phones, no cameras, just pure absolute bonkers fun! Everyone rolling face, dancing, hugging, massaging, can’t believe we were having that much fun at 14-21!
For real, then cannabis was squidgy and solid s.h.i. too right ✅️ get up and downers to the beat of pure E's and weed! Re.unuzion all them times and be real true and happy all and I hope your all having it large, after all. 3:43 😅

I only remember it hearing it for the first time on the radio in the nineties, being a 9 yo kid or so. Had no idea what was going to happen with the start and instantly hit that record button on the cassetterecorder. And I would not be disappointed... This was just totally different than all the other stuff they used to play (and pity to say, I think that regular radiostations today all play the same shite and hardly ever dare to go out of the regular playlist)

@Zerkon Playx And why then no grammar? But no, seriously what are you (trying to) say?
90's the best decade of them all. Of all the cultures to come out of England, dance culture, rave and of course ecstasy was the most influential. All the old punks, skinheads, metal heads, football hooligans it snared them all and changed their lives.
Unstoppable, there’s a movie coming out about the free party scene made by people that where there. It’s a crowd funded one so you might have to seek it out. Think it’s called Free Party

I need to get some bigger speakers so I can feel that bass in my chest again. I dont remember too much from the 90's as i was mashed, but i do remember the music. Thanks Prodigy. RIP Keith.
You just inspired me to turn mine up

This was sung by the people attending Keith's funeral procession. That truly breaks my heart...

My hubby that passed away turned me on to this we would trip balls and he would dance all night for me and give me the best light shows ....forever greatful 🙌🙌🙌
💪
Do you remember another track that marks you from your first experience?
For real, then cannabis was squidgy and solid s.h.i. too right ✅️ get up and downers to the beat of pure E's and weed! Re.unuzion all them times and be real true and happy all and I hope your all having it large, after all. 3:43 😅

Born and bred Braintree here, this was filmed at the power plant next to freeport, amazing tune... His funeral was on my road, big day for Braintree, such a sad loss.
I remember that I saw this video on MTV when it was released and I thought what the hell is this 😀. But it etched into my brain and soon I listened to The Prodigy almost every day and I still do. I can´t come up with a band or artist that has affected my life more than this band, it´s pure magic.
