I have 4 fur kids and each have their own ways to let me know is time to eat. One starts running and throwing hist toy loud enough to get my attention, another one goes to the kitchen and taps his plate, another one howls as he walks to the kitchen and my girl sits lats on her bed quietly for me to see her waiting nicely. They are on the clock ⏰...lol.

Your home is absolutely beautiful! Bentley and Albert look so well cared for in their cute little oufits. I love dressing my little maltese mix, but she doesn't share my enthusiasm! I, too, make my own dog food. I do mine in the crockpot using very similar ingredients. I also add 2 tbsp. of coconut oil, a can of any beans (kidney, pinto, etc.), oatmeal or rice and I put 2 raw eggs in at the end and stir them around to cook. They cook in about 2 seconds! I also add a calcium powder.
I can tell your doggies are your babies it’s so sweet.

Try raw goat's milk by answers its good for them. Also they need organ meats and calcium supplements I grind the egg shells up for calcium.

My dogs love hard-boiled eggs. As soon as I go to the refrigerator and I take the carton of eggs out, they know and they sit there and watch lol thank you for your video and your doggies are adorable and they are lucky to have a mommy like you.

Hi Nikki, LOVE your babies!! I have a Yorkie, Emmy, and my daughter has Ivy and Izzy!! I make my dog food too. She knows when it is time to eat and will sit and stare at me…yup. I make brown rice, ground poultry, sweet potatoes and a little bit of oil (olive or salmon). I will try your recipe as soon as possible. Looks amazing. Thank you for sharing. As far as the spinach how much spinach do I add and do I cook it do I steam it do I do what with the spinach to add it into the rest of the food I see you Dice it up or does it cook is it steamed is it what is it Roar how do I make the spinach I'm not getting that and the amounts of everything how much of everything do I make
I just started making homemade dog food for my Chihuahuas Yippy and Zero. I really enjoyed your video. I will try hard boiled eggs. I haven't done that. Also roasting the sweet potatoes 👍 in the oven is an excellent tip. Thanks so much.

I can stand at the furthest point in my cottage with my back to the hall and livingroom. I whisper to the wall... chicken and my Yorkie, aged, 13, even if asleep will be at his bowl in 5 seconds or less.😂

As soon as my Yorkie sees me touching ANY of her bowls, she goes absolutely crazy and starts running in circles (she’s almost 13 years old). It’s hilarious. And she continues this excitement until I set the bowl of food down in front of her. The girl is like an automatic dishwasher, I swear 😂❤️🐶

That's a very high protein combination. We were given a higher veg proportion from the vet school here in Canada.

My Santana is sooo picky. He doesn't like ground turkey at all. He loves his chicken boiled or baked, but no turkey. I combine organic chicken with his dry food that I specially order for him. He loves it. Bentley and Albert are eating very good!

Omg!! Bentley jumps like my Alvin-Einstein...I always said he's part yorkie part kangaroo. Lol 😆 YaYa-Gabor is prissy and just waits. The baby Chuck-E just does his best to drag the bowl then stands completely inside it. Hahahhahaaa Yes these yorkies are super super smart. Mine furbabies love love love carrots and cheese. My girl Laurel just loves chicken. It is probably the one food that she gets a little vocal about....LOL Other than that she is patient and takes food from you very gently. I think I will try this with her. Love the video
I liked your video. What is your little chopper thing? I love that (for me too). Your combo is very good--I think dogs are supposed to have about 30% of their food and just about what you have. I like your addition of some supplement. I have read salmon or other fish oil is good too (good for us as well). I think you make it look easy.
Your babies are so adorable 💜💜 lol my husband said that my Zeus and Zena, (mini Dachshunds) listen to me and once the here me open their food container, they come running. I ordered deli containers from Amazon and I pre a couple of weeks and will freeze it so they can have a change of food. My guys love Liver, also Chicken. To let me know that they are ready to eat at night they will start talking to me , whining and huffing lol.

Our dogs definitely know what time it is. They will come and sit in front of me licking lips. If I don't pay enough attention, they start to cry and chatter. They definitely rule the roost!😂💕

I love how much you (clearly) love your dogs. Beautiful, you are a kindred spirit. I would like to recommend that you balance your oils a bit more and add some sardines. be sure to make sure you get the kind packed in water and not oil.
I also started homemade for my dogs. Chicken /Turkey or Beef ground or whole chicken breast in instantpot and shreded. Added to that a vegetable/peas,carrots,spinach,kale whatever is available. Then rice or sweet potatoes. Hard boiled egg and a teaspoon of plain yogurt. Then vet recommended Omega 3 and due to age Dasuquin. Like you said you should check with your vet.for the added supplements.

Very nicely done. How much do they weigh and how much do you give them? Do you feed twice a day. We raise ducks so our 15 pound poodle will be eating a lot of eggs. I am just getting started at making dog food. I'm going to freeze dry it and make it so that humans and dogs and cats can eat it, (if we have to). I don't want to feed kibbles any longer. I'll keep the cats on kibbles until I can't any longer. The cats are very good hunters and we live on a farm. Blessings

You can find it on Amazon. I bought it after watching one of her previous videos, but my dogs didn’t like it at all. Perhaps it was the smell, that power stinks bad! I had to put it in a ziplock bag and even like that I could smell it across the kitchen. I then put it in my garage and would add it to my dog’s food but noticed that every time I added it to his food he would sniff his food and walk away. I ended up throwing it away.

my mini daschund comes to the kitchen or finds me, follows me around, wags her tail or barks, or goes to her dish, I know it's time, started 2 weeks ago with home made.I used to give her what I ate, chicken, salmon, fish, just separate sweet pot, then I got tired of all that and started mixing, white rice, veg, egg, and she loves it, she is 11 lbs, I looked it up she gets 1/2 c 2 times a day, she is satisfied, so happy, gets a little salmon oil on tip for a treat, some days chicken, turkey, even mix both. she is 7 yrs old, her name is bella, love your advice
