- I got my hands on some really cool new off road lights from ARB called their Intensity iQ, and since I have an old ARB bumper on my 1994 LandCruiser I figured I'd put them on the Dirty 80. As you'll see the install required more than just a simple bolt on for this truck and bumper, but in the end I really like the lights.

GOOD LORD! $2700+CAD for lights? Great video for learning but definetly out of reach for most of us lol
Everything is so expensive.. but that isn’t much more over the price of the 50-60” Rigid light bar at the top of the range.

Gone are the days of simple wiring for off road lights. Those seem to be a great set of lights though. Only thing that would make them better is if they had an amber setting.

I’ve got the arb intensity solis lights they are amazing in the flood configuration
Can always cut 2 holes in the toyota grille. Set them back further and be better protected from brush.
Bummer they didn't fit on the tabs.......but they are pretty amazing.

No pair of lights is worth that much, especially when they are that ugly. And an app? No way.
For the lights you'd need to buy to match what these seem to cover, you're probably more spent for quality lights. Either way, they are ugly as sin. Also the app and usability seems like it would be frustrating to use all the time
Illegal? I didn't know the US was that backwards. Auxiliary highbeams should almost be mandatory on older vehicles with how much modern vehicles with led blinds oncoming traffic.
And ground controlled highbeams are very common on Asian vehicles. But a relay and some short wires behind the headlight wouldn't make too much mess to connect it as intended.

Can you not just use an add a fuse to the high beams in the fuse box?
Those lights are ridiculously huge, they block 2/3 of your radiator.
Also not a fan of the red lighting in the switch
Just an FYI no one here in OZ uses them. They are over priced and under deliver.

Hey Fred I have a 95 Toyota pickup that is 4 linked in the back and straight axel conversation up front but it sits way to high, what’s the best way to lower springs? Should I go with smaller springs or just run shocks?
i would probably go with lighter spring rate to start

Great little fabrication project but you will probably be the only person on the trail with those lights. They are ridiculously expensive and complicated. They look ok once you mounted them behind the push bar. The beam pattern looks good but they cost double of the price of my k5 blazer when i bought it 8 years ago
At 1800 bucks I'll just go too harbor freight i can get get a winch and a bunch of lights

That poor 80 series...Fred, you dirt bag, start pulling the fuses and looking for the draw. Even if it means pulling a fuse at a time and placing it in ziploc with a note on your driver seat so that if one day it doesn't need a jump you have an idea of where to look.
The exact moment you turned on the new lights my screen went black to cut to an add....I thought you had seriously screwed up lol

As cool as they are these trucks have a tendency to run hot in the summer and that’s a LOT of grill blocked.
