my tello app installed from an sdk, is showing bluetooth gray, even though my ps5 controller is already connected to my samsung s24+

Make sure the phone is on - is this regular tello or edu tello? Phone has to be on for it to work though.. If too much time is spent trying to syc remote and drone battery will die and it will be too late and you'll have to try again with new battery.. Make sure PS remote isn't bound to other device in the house that may be powered on.

prima avvia il drone, dopo collega il drone tramite wifi al cell, dopo avvisa app e aspetta che sia connesso drone e infine avvisa il controller così a me ha funzionato(stesso controller ed iphone)
