JET2 B757-200, MANCHESTER (MAN) ➡️ GENEVA (GVA) - STUNNING VIEWS & SNOWY ARRIVAL! JANUARY 2024 ✈️

On Sunday 14th January, I took my first flight of 2024 down to Geneva, on none other than a Jet2 B757! The specific aircraft I was flying on was G-LSAK, a new 75 for me and a welcome change to the usual LSAE! We arrived at the airport around 2 hours before our scheduled departure which left plenty of time for security and a bite to eat, we then headed to the gate to find that our aircraft was delayed due to fog in Geneva and wouldn’t be leaving until at least 8AM instead of 06:55, which was slightly annoying but it meant we departed into a stunning sunrise! Our flight was pretty much empty so it was very comfortable, and that matched with a stunning RB211 view, you really can’t go wrong! We were treated with some stunning views of the alps on decent into Geneva, before flying into the fog on our final approach which seemed endless! We then finally saw the ground at only 1,000ft which was quite interesting, before a nice landing, we then topped the flight off with a cockpit visit before disembarking by stairs and a bus to the terminal, so all in all a really nice flight, and an enjoyable day in Geneva afterwards! Charlie do you know why most jet2 flights leave from terminal 2, but the past 3 flights I've been on with jet2 I always went from terminal 1?

I’m not sure to be honest, the last time I flew from T1 with jet2 was to corfu in 2022

@@planespottingringway I'm yet to fly from the new t2.. Is it any good? I'm flying on tui to Rhodes next August from t2, was originally booked for a 767 but as you know they said ba bye now got an A320

Jet2 are in the transition of moving to T2 fully. Some flights due to T2 capacity still go from T1 - the destinations are on the Jet2 website :)
