- Johnnie O. Jackson is seven weeks out from the Dallas Europa SuperShow and Branch just returned from Australia. With the Original Metroflex in Arlington as their setting there is no shortage of that hardcore lifting in this shoulder workout session.

They have been doing this for years, so they have developed enough "mind-muscle" connection to work their muscles with these short ranges of motion.
Johnnie actually made a comment regarding his and Branch form when lifting. He said when people see the partial form when him and Branch are lifting, is that they don't realize that they just performed so many sets and that they are only filming the failure sets.
So they do multiple failure sets on their incline 1/4 rep shoulder push-presses?
I like the fact that they pre-exhaust their shoulder bfore doing the heavy pushing, Its such a good & healty thing to do !
Nothing these guys are doing is "healthy", but it's somewhat efficient.

Poland syndrome bodybuilding That's no way near incline bench, as soon as you get over 45 degree the shoulders take over, your chest is really poorly activated

I tried this, I got great pumps bet I felt like I didn't lift anything or use a lot of strength and muscle like I do with proper form.

Steroids beats proper form every time. What was that incline bench push press 1/4 rep thing they were doing? And the push... dumbbell shoulder swing thing they were doing? I bet their legs were as sore as their upper body the next day.

+othman fikri a lot of Olympia level bodybuilders put a little bit of a lean into it on purpose. it gives the front head a rounder fuller look to match the medial delt head that straight arm raises wont achieve. yes it does some upper chest ..thats how they get those thick band of muscle that layer down from the delt head right into upper chest. they generally do most things a few different ways.
3:40. This is the shortest range of motion I have ever seen.. Plus his is bouncing the weights on his chest.. For the love of God, decrease your weight and have a proper workout man!
3 things from me too :)
1) The only reason he is there is cause his bad genetics (in comparison to heaths, Greens etc) make him more easily relatable to the average joe that wishes to be like him
2) Yes he is, yet no as one of the best bodybuilders of all times said "muscle mass is nothing without muscle definition" and his back is terrible
3) I am not all that tiny and I am a fitness model traning in weighted calisthenics with some very impressive lifts if I may say.. Yet heres the funny thing! You're body is closest to mine than it will ever be to his yet the industry of steroids has convinsed you to defend him even though that might be your opinion as well!
And finally his form is shitty cause he compensates by using drugs. Go idolize someone who what he lifts comes from what he is. Not what his steroids make him

Their form works to a degree. Neither of them have ever won an Olympia. If you want to see good form go watch Phil or Kai.

+Juan Rios For me faster cuz you can go heavier and then build more muscle, slower you have to go lighter, but it all depends going slow can stimulate some growth as well, and if you go fast, make sure you don't go too fast cuz you might be using momentum to do the work for you, and there's not benefit on that.
I think is always good to change and do it either one way or the other, it just depends on what it works for you.
