      So years ago I got pulled over for accidentally going the wrong way down one of the one way streets in Baltimore. They asked to search and my dumb ass said sure, since I knew I had nothing. Magically they "found" drugs. I cooperated, ended up arrested and just went with the bullshit and was totally compliant. Of course my lawyer asked that the "drugs" be tested before my court date and they magically "couldn't find it". Everything, including the ticket I definitely earned that day was thrown out because of it.
      The reason I said all this was that even though I knew for a fact they were lying and they did that to me I also knew that if I did fight them or do anything to resist that it was going to make it harder for me in the end. I didn't want to end up hurt by resisting either and end up slammed onto the street or something.
      Now don't get me wrong, I wanted to scream and fight and protest my innocence and flip the fuck out at that dirty piece of shit cop. But I am also smart enough to know that's only going to hurt me in the end. It was much better to just behave well and be able to sit there satisfied in court when everything got thrown out.
      Not too long after it came out that they'd done this to other people in Baltimore as well, even saw a cops own bodycam showing them planting drugs. I'm really glad they finally got caught with some indisputable proof and faced the consequences.

      I sometimes think they're denying the charge, not the arrest. Like, if the officer says they're under arrest for DUI, the "no I'm not" is an attempt to say, "I wasn't driving under the influence!" But you're right, it is funny to hear.

      But I don't like it doesn't tell you how many charges were DROPPED!! Bc you know the way it is these days, these demorcrat prosecutors are instructed to drop as many charges as possible so the offenders can get right back out there to do the same exact thing reeking havoc on all the law abiding citizens. They have to actually kill someone or several people before they get locked away for a long time(still maybe). That's policy and politics or lack thereof, for ya 👍 this entire shift with what once was normal and was common sense all out the window bc DT was elected president in 2016. So this is a punishment for all the normal law-abiding citizens who are based. The dems in power know this bothers us. That's why all of this is happening at every level of society 👍 Trump 2024!!

He showed the camera so basically means he showed everybody so it saved him from any scrutiny that he wouldn’t have deserved if he got it… it’s only a bad thing when you have people like Office or Winters with that college football player who he arrested on a DUI who blew 0.00….. just because he didn’t like the kids attitude, he was being very cocky that he would pass the test because he knew he didn’t drink, and Officer Winters lied and told him that he smelled alcohol but then when the breathalyzer results came back here, changed it to “when was the last time you smoked marijuana” in the kid knew immediately that it wasn’t about the truth. Instead of doing field sobriety tests why don't the police simply use a breathalyser to get the BAC?

    • @iffracem
      @iffracem 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I agree, here in Australia they don't do them, but I think it's because they need a way to determine an impairment that's not just alcohol.
      The simple breathalysers they have in some cars don't detect dope, meth etc. The road side line/ballet dance can be used to prove "reasonable suspicion" of impairment due to a range of substances... they just need to be careful doing it, otherwise a smart arsed defense lawyer will try to get their client off with a technicality.
      If the stations more accurate breathalyser comes up as under the limit, it's probably off to the hospital for a blood sample

    • @connorhofmann5691

    • @TheLegendaryOsiris

      Because a field sobriety test determines if the person is simply sober or not, and not utilized just for Blood Alcohol Content as a breathalyzer does

    • @DaydreamxDazed
      @DaydreamxDazed 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Field sobriety helps build a case for impairment, especially if the suspect refuses a breathalyzer on-site. Helps boost the body of evidence so punishment may be harsher.
