I love v your comment. So many people have the ugliest things to say about addicts in these videos and in general.. but they are not all bad people. They are just like all other people, some are bad and become worse from the drugs some very kind and are just hurting. Im in recovery and I know I haven't done the best things during my addiction but mostly I hurt others by hurting myself. Anyways i agree with your comment and I hope you have a great week!
@@ninachkah13Junkies NEVER think of the others they destroy while they are getting high. Or use. They think you're just supposed to forget it all. Ah yes. The poor me professional victim mode of junkies and drunks. Drunks and Junkies are not fragile little creatures. They're the MOST manipulative things on earth. They will do ANYTHING to get what they want.
What truly broke my heart is the lack of concern for the little girl riding in the floorboard of the truck that had to watch that. And everyone's comments of sympathy for the guy allowing it to happen.
he may legitimately be trying to get clean, and help her get clean, but the reality is if you're a drug addict and you hang out with someone who does fentanyl, both will just become more and more addicted to fentanyl until they're dead. its such a strong and inexpensive substance that the only real way people quit fentanyl is if they're somehow forced to. it's also laced into almost all other drugs these days, so weening yourself off of it with heroine or meth isn't even an option, since you're still consuming fentanyl when you get those drugs. even just marijuana from an untrustworthy source these days is likely to contain fentanyl. the best way to avoid it is just don't use any drugs in the first place, and if you must smoke weed only get it from a dispensary.
My brother is a methamphetamine addict. Ive tried so many times to get him to stop. He's stolen, lied and become violent with me. At times I've hated his very existence, but he's still my brother. Addiction doesn't just affect the user. I see him and all I can think about is the boy he used to be. Him and I playing when we were kids. I can't properly explain how terrible it is knowing what he's doing to himself. Unfortunately, with were he's at now the only way he's going to stop is if he decides to, he ends up in prison or if he dies. I pray every day he makes the first choice. I don't mean to dump my personal problems on you. I just mean to say I understand the pain that man is feeling.
It’s because she had already been in jail for three days. They count that as time served plus the bond. They look at it as an addiction problem also. So they usually put restrictions in place for her to bond and the bond company has to make sure she does them. Like, no drugs or alcohol, no driving and self help meetings.
He’s a lying sack of 💩 that tried to put it all on her. He’s manipulating a recovery program cause they don’t put you on methadone for crack. That means he did opiates and got into the clinic so he can continue to get high. Take my word for it. I’m in a methadone clinic where I go monthly and I’ve been clean 9 years. He is a real man for sure trying to put everything on her when you know damn well they were both using. When people get into treatment, they have to break up. Couples don’t make it cause when 1 had the feeling, the other quickly follows. I’m married to someone who is not an addict but understands my addiction cause he’s had 2 spine surgeries and hernia surgery. I’ve had 4 spine surgeries, hip surgery, and heart surgery and I was hooked on painkillers. My doc stopped taking my insurance and we live in a small town. The only other doc I could see was 2 hours away and I had no vehicle so I self medicated with heroin. These people are def manipulating a program that really does work for people who genuinely want help. These people just want a legal way to get high! It makes me sick because people die on the waitlists that are sometimes 2 years long while these people who really shouldn’t have that spot, are taking up the space. Methadone doesn’t help crack addiction it’s for people with a physical addiction to opioids. Crack has no physical addiction, it’s all mental. It’s selfishness and just wanting to get high. No one wakes up in the morning needing to smoke crack. Once you sleep it off, the actual addictive part is gone. They are just trash using up resources that could save someone else’s life so they can legally get high. If your addiction is crack, you have no business in a methadone clinic. It hits me hard cause I’ve watched ppl die waiting including my cousin who was my best friend.
She isn’t lying when she says she doesn’t know what the dealers give her. She probably doesn’t have a single clue what it actually is. All she knows is what they tell her. It’s dangerous.

I definitely agree with this. A lot of street drugs are being cut with fent now since it’s so cheap and keeps people hooked. Plus since it doesn’t look any different, it’s rly impossible to tell unless you test it prior to taking it

@@davidkelley6713 Personally, I have zero clue what you're talking about, but let's just say your right. She gets that because she was resisting. Not the person actively committing crimes.
@davidkelley6713 So, what's your excuse for her claiming they were choking her with video evidence that they only had contact on her lower body? The people who claim they aren't resisting when they absolutely are hinder any effort to end the active corruption of the police. They are just grabbing, pulling shoving with no directions yelling stop resisting. Maybe before they start just grabbing and yanking on her, say im gonna do this or do that so i need you to do this or do that. Instead of having zero de-escalation skills(dealing with a paranoid drug addict) and expect them to respond well to just grabbing, yanking and screaming stop resisting stop resisting. Horrible police work here.
Being able to see a person's pulse in their neck is known medically as "jvd" or jugular vein distention, it's often a sign of heart problems or circulatory issues. I hope she got sober and got looked at by a doctor!
Why do people think yelling at the police will magically make the police give up the arrest? That's like not studying for a math test then being angry you flunked.
Bobby really said ‘I just wanna… I was there once and someone gave ME a second chance’ 😢seems like a nice guy. But some people forget that addiction battling requires grit from the addict to overcome too. You can’t save them until they want to fight to save themselves.
I was going to make much the same comment as you did. I have compassion for this woman; it's obvious that she's deeply troubled, addicted to the point where she's willing to take a lethal substance just to for a chance at feeling 'ok' & she's probably had a tough childhood but until she's ready to take that one small but highly significant step towards sobriety & betterment she's a danger to both herself & people with whom she comes into contact. I feel bad for her, the guy who wanted to bail her out & the officers who have to deal with the fallout. No winners here I guess but I hope she's able to take that step someday soon.
@@julietarossetti7426you’re enabling a whole population of people who don’t give a shit. She would run you over for money for drugs, and you feel sorry for her. No one should have to deal with her crap.
Some people just don’t understand what addiction does to you and how hard it is especially opiate addiction. There’s a reason only 2% stay sober. Big pharma and The people who invented/ distribute this shit need to be held accountable but they care more about the money and they get population control so they just don’t give a fuck
Massive respect for Bobby. I can’t imagine what it was like to deal with that wretched woman. I hope he goes on to live a better life and beat his addiction.
Watching him standing there while being so patient kind of broke my heart, he seems like a genuinely sweet man just caught up in the wrong situations with the wrong people and substances.
Especially when he turns around and goes " Can I bail here out". From his stance and relative demeanor he's been through this process before and knows being cooperative completely gets him further than pulling this passive aggressive/ entitled personality.
The mixture of fear, dread and rage you could hear when the cop was worried his dog had been exposed to fentanyl was heartbreaking, you could hear his panic and then to see him go check on the dog and reassure him that he was ok was so wholesome
At the start I thought the dude was fishy as hell and wanted him arrested too because I figured he was also on drugs and fully involved. By the end I was surprised at how level headed he stayed throughout all of it and how respectful he was. I hope he stays clean, and I hope she doesnt drag him back to the dark place he once was.
I absolutely thought the same; I thought he may have had ‘challenges’ due to his speech in the beginning of the video. Turned out to be a good guy! ‘Try walking in my shoes. You’d stumble in my footsteps’. Love & Light from Miami Shores🦚 Stay safe mate✌🏼🌎 Have a care for one another🫧🖤
He comes across like a guy genuinely trying to better himself and help people struggling with addiction. Even the officers about halfway through the video looked like they almost completely disregarded him as a potential threat. I hope they're both doing well and staying sober
I think he got really lucky here not getting arrested. If you're in active recovery and you're serious about it, you don't put yourself in situations that could get you hemmed up or cause you to relapse. You just don't. That means not hanging around anybody that's still messing around with the dark side. I don't think he's 100% clean and sober yet, but hopefully he will be soon. Coming from a former heroin junkie with 9 years clean. Glad I got out of that life when I did. Seems like fentanyl blew up overnight right after I got sober.
Forcing rehab on people doesn't work. If you force someone to go to rehab and they don't want to quit, they'll go right back to using as soon as they're let out. The person has to *want* to change; that's why incarceration and forced rehab don't work.
Unfortunately, the best thing for his future sobriety, he's gonna have to stay away for people using. He seems to have a great heart to help her, but he won't pull her up, she'll drag him down.

Im an addict, been sober 2 years but I know how terrifying it was to have any contact with law enforcement. Just like this poor lady I never wanted to hurt anyone. Going to jail is absolutely horrific to an active addict. Forced withdrawl in jail was the lowest, most painful, crushing experience of my life! Addiction is born out of depression. Every addict wants to be sober, but they dont know how, and generally there arent places that provide safe, caring detox services. Sober living houses only accept tennants who can pass a urine screen. Waking up each day to your body, your entire being screaming out for more drugs is the saddest feeling in the world. Addicts are trapped, they need help and understanding
Withdrawal is one of the worst hells on earth. I can't even imagine how exponentially worse it would be to do it in jail, as opposed to your bathtub at home.

why aren't we praying for the girl as well? I understand she acted crazy but as an addict yourself (as am I) you should understand she's not actually crazy, she was just trying to do anything in her power to not go to jail/ receive more charges of having drugs on her. I've definitely eaten drugs before while almost getting arrested, didn't want it to go to waste or have them be found. She deserves recovery just as much as Bobby does. I can almost guarantee she isn't like that while clean

YES. anyone can tell you they are both ON and/or Hiding something.. but that "you're going to jail cause you resisted when we tried to arrest you off our suspicions without proof" thing is bullshit.. those officers both wanted them to have something.. they get a thrill from things like this.. also obvious. So yea .. eff these cops.. There are more good cops than bad cops. I am not going to let personal bias overcome my common sense.. but these are the type of cops that I am glad we have body cameras now. If they want to arrest you, regardless, you are going to jail AT LEAST for resisting.. I mean "resisting."

Bobby, good job on trying to get sober and behaving with the police. And I know you wanted to help this lady out, but sometimes you have to leave the streets behind you to get clean. That also means cutting off people that are going to bring more drama into your life. Wish you well on your journey, dude. I think the cops need to understand though that people buying H probably wouldn't know if it was H or fent without actually testing it. That's why so many people are OD-ing because they don't know. Otherwise I think the cops were pretty good.

he may legitimately be trying to get clean, and help her get clean, but the reality is if you're a drug addict and you hang out with someone who does fentanyl, both will just become more and more addicted to fentanyl until they're dead. its such a strong and inexpensive substance that the only real way people quit fentanyl is if they're somehow forced to. it's also laced into almost all other drugs these days, so weening yourself off of it with heroine or meth isn't even an option, since you're still consuming fentanyl when you get those drugs. even just marijuana from an untrustworthy source these days is likely to contain fentanyl.
the best way to avoid it is just don't use any drugs in the first place, and if you must smoke weed only get it from a dispensary.

$500 ? The judicial system isn’t worth shit
It’s because she had already been in jail for three days. They count that as time served plus the bond. They look at it as an addiction problem also. So they usually put restrictions in place for her to bond and the bond company has to make sure she does them. Like, no drugs or alcohol, no driving and self help meetings.
Thank a liberal.
Bobby seems like a great guy, I hope his recovery journey is smooth and has no issues throughout the way.
10 years is excessive. Did you hear about the woman who got 1 for shooting her kid in the foot?? I agree about the rehab though.
Forcing rehab on people doesn't work. If you force someone to go to rehab and they don't want to quit, they'll go right back to using as soon as they're let out. The person has to *want* to change; that's why incarceration and forced rehab don't work.
