Pisses Me Off

I don't know if this song should be called "Pisses Me Off" or "Gold Bars." All I know is that when I wrote the song, I was too pissed to even give it a description. But here it is. This song is about how country singers and singers in general are going around singing about how hard life is, how hard work is, when they're making over $46k a song plus tour. They're making money from concerts. They're sitting here singing about our daily lives when they're rich and can go anywhere, do anything, and not have to worry about debt like we do or bills like we do. Their financial advisors take care of all that for them out of the money they make from their music. While they're driving around in sports cars fully paid off, we are financing our cars. While they're living in mansions fully paid off, we are financing our homes. We work every day, sometimes overtime, just to make a little extra, just so we can have a little money left after bills are paid.
I'd love to see them drive for 11 hours straight, strap down loads, do log books just so DOT doesn't shut them down, work on a car, mow grass, stock shelves as a retail worker, work in factories, drive a train, be a cop or first responder, serve their country in the military, drive a forklift, work construction, or herd cattle on a farm. Because I guarantee you, if they did, they would pray to God to give them their rich lives back. These are jobs that people like us do. They have no clue how hard life is. They just hear it from us. That's it. They won't know till they live it themselves.
Plus, we have a president who's off in rainbow land or somewhere, but here, everything keeps rising, so it's making it even harder to survive and pay shit back. When they were young, before they became rich, they worked, but it was nowhere near as bad as it is today. Back then, food was cheap. Hell, people were leaving stores with carts of food. Now look at us today. We're leaving with half carts full. Two hundred bucks used to fill carts full of food. Now it takes almost a thousand just to barely fill it.

Oh, I worked so hard. Oh, life is just so hard. This working every day is unbearable, but I'm eating a big thick steak and shrimp my personal cook made me in my big-ass house I got. Oh, these folks are so stupid to tell me their stories. I'm gonna make money from it and add it to my bank account. Oh, I got a nice ZR2 in my garage. Oh, I got a nice Ford, fully paid off, souped-up custom, sitting in my driveway. Oh, life is so hard. I think I'm gonna have a groundskeeper mow my lawn for me and weed eat along the fence for a low poverty check. Oh, it's so hard out here and I have millions in my bank from all these stupid people telling me their stories. Oh, it's so hard to be bombarded by fans everywhere I go, but I'll definitely take their money. That's what a singer is, and actors are the same way. They don't care about us unless we can make them money.

I’m gonna try this again. I posted this right here and somehow it’s gone. That being said some of these country singers are just like Hollywood Robert De Niro plays the baddest person ever but he turns out to be a liberal progressive have no nuts person same with these country singers that don’t live our life, the argument, for I like their music doesn’t stand up to their values and morals that do not agree with us and are only making the dollar let’s see how long this stays up

I was gonna say, world, we're all just trying to survive in this world, but I decided to pick whirlwind swirl because it's short for the crap that this president is putting us through, which stands for a chaotic, stressful, and emotional state. With him, we're all stressed, we're in a state of emotions, and the world is going crazy. Everyone hates us because of him. They want to end us so badly; it's pitiful. The crazy thing about it all is he funded them in his 4-year term, thinking it would be a peaceful environment through his term, and it backfired. Now, other countries are stronger than ever because of him, and ours is falling apart while he sleeps on live TV, can't remember words, or who he's talking to. It's just embarrassing and bursting at the seams. I'm basically saying it's out of control, which it is so many wars, so much hatred, etc.

Everyone has their own opinion, SIR, but the way I see it is how I wrote it and the description, SIR. Millions of us work every day, and I know you do as well. It's the same routine every single day; it's like hell, and we're living it. Put it this way: Rome, before it fell, the rich were in a higher part of the city, while the poor, like us, worked for scraps and had taxes rising over and over and had to steal just to provide for their family, even though they knew the consequences. Same goes for the rich. They sing our stories for clout and for a paycheck of 40k. Look at me, I'm making songs, and I don't make no 40k. And thousands of others are as well, but at least we are writing what we are living.This day and age, it's freaking hard to survive. I knew the repercussions before I wrote the song, but this needed to be said.

That's on you if that's how you feel, but to me and a lot of others, we don't like the fact that they write songs about how hard life is and working every day just to get by while they are living in big-ass houses and driving cars that we can't even afford. Unless you're making over 300k a year, you'll never have what they have, not even close to it. I don't mind the love songs, the happy songs, or the sad songs about their loved ones, but when it comes to working and hard life, they don't have the slightest clue what us average people go through. We work overtime just to have a little extra money to take our family out for a Friday night dinner or to festivals like a fair just to have a weekend of fun, or to the theme park to get away from the everyday crap we deal with during the week. They, on the other hand, get to travel around, tour, and make thousands off us through their concerts. They're living rich and singing about our everyday lives when they never faced it themselves. Everyone has their opinion, but mine is they shouldn't sing about us working to get by or how hard our lives are because they will never understand unless they live a day in our shoes.
