    Is the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro any good off-road in the hands of a normal person? I headed to the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales to find out.
    You may be thinking 'how can someone who rode around the world be a normal person?' well, I didn't start riding until I was 19, had no off road experience before my RTW, haven't ridden a big bike off-road since then and have only really started building my off-road skills in the last year. My skill level is totally average and attainable by anyone!
    I hope you enjoy the video, follow the links below to find me elsewhere!

    I own the Rally Pro but I would love to be thirty years younger & get a chance to ride it off road. In my mid-sixties, tired knees so I ride it the way I'm comfortable. At least I'm riding... :)

    Cannot wait to get my hands on one of these. I’m going everywhere. My current Vstrom can get a lot of places, but this right here.

    Love all of this mate, especially what you've done with the footage from the Adv day. Had a blast in that 33 degree heat! Great input from your experience with it, noted some down. Excited to go wild camping with it! Keep at it dude. 🤙🏼

    at 1:39 of your video I saw in the background a street twin with crash bars. I did not saw those before, can you please tell me were I can purchase them? thanks a lot. And great video!👍

      I’d imagine they’re triumph OEM parts as this was at the triumph adventure experience 👌

    Great vid, have to respectfully disagree and say that the suspension is not too soft and bike is very torquey.

    • @HenryCrew35
      @HenryCrew35  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you liked it! The suspension is fully adjustable so I’m sure it can be made to be perfect & would definitely be something I tuned if I owned the bike but as a loan bike it was too soft for me, especially in the front. Torque wise if you compare it to a GS it has half the torque, I know the engines are different sizes. I think because the engine is so smooth and linear as well as preferring to be high in the revs you don’t get that low down grunt of a single or twin, even with the new firing.

    • @TroyAdam
      @TroyAdam 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HenryCrew35 The bike has a lot of low down grunt and is not tuned for top end speed. Not sure what mode you were riding in.

      It’s all RevIt Dirt Series, Knox urbane armour which I don’t like that much & a triumph jersey.

  • @davidhyde2267
    @davidhyde2267 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You mentioned the suspension being too soft, were these not set up for off road riding and if not why, if its adjustable? Also, can I ask how tall you are and your weight? Thanks for the video very interested in this bike.

    • @HenryCrew35
      @HenryCrew35  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi David, they’re set up soft because it’s better for complete novices when riding off road as it soaks everything up but gives a lot less feel and control when you get a bit further along. Being a school that caters to all abilities they set the bikes up to benefit the absolute beginners and can’t set suspension for every attendee. I’m 6ft and 12st. Glad you liked the video, it’s an awesome bike!

      @@HenryCrew35 Hi - I a booking on this course soon, and have the option of standard 900 or lowered. What would you recommend? Im also 6ft

    • @HenryCrew35
      @HenryCrew35  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @danbarr5919 I’d always go lowered - you won’t be sat down much when riding off road and it’s always nicer to not worry about touching the ground when things go wrong even if you don’t necessarily need it
