I love the Trio+. With all of its limitations, I can be a bit creative. That guitar nails the octaves. Thanks for noticing. Oh, you can't go wrong with that song
@@stevewhitton8671 The Beach Boys is a good study on harmony. Over a melody, back up singing became harmonic by sticking with one solitary note. Match cadence but drone a 3rd or inverted 7th. Over the melody. The original studio version of How Long the harmony is in the chorus. I wonder what the breakdown would look like. Very soft. Very nice. The harmonizing tones are down low fur'shur'. Nice affect. Harmonizing below the phrase. Not on top of it. JMO. Songs with weird harmonies would be a good topic.
@@pgnandt It was cool and a labor or love to get those harmonies down on my guitar. I should have studied that more when I was younger. It was a real lesson for me.
Thanks Susan....... I will never forget working with you and when you went toe to toe with John and said "You don't have an option". Thanks for watching and commenting on this song
Great guitar tone, however, you got'a work on balancing the mix. The drums and bass sound like they are in another room. Are you using a mix of mic and direct to DAW? Nice tune, haven't heard that in ages, thanks for posting.
I hear you. Do you see the guitar case standing up on the left. That is in front of the speaker so that it wont overwhelm the tiny speaker in the GoPro. You would not believe how loud the drums and bass are in the room. I guess I could always turn my guitar down. Thanks for the comments and watching. PS. I need to get a DAW. But it is just a GoPro
Being able to play in an acoustically bad environment is an important skill to have. For me recording would not be open mike other than for singers. Headphones of course allows for real high volume. GoPro mike is going to always sound bad. Yeah that guitar sounds nice.
Hi Steve, great playing and cover! Loved the guitar harmonies and octaves. Nice touch. 👍🏻👏🏻🙌🏻

That Tom Anderson sounds so great! I am so impressed with your playing...
Thanks Mary......... I cannot stop playing it
Nice job Steve. Great song.
Hey Paul, Thanks. It is fun trying to figure out the harmony lines
