I disagree with you, looking for someone else while still dating is monkey branching/cheating. Doesnt matter how shit the relationship was. People who look and then leave, thats what the problem is. Almost every single person that cheats, does so because there's something missing, not because the relationship is perfect. Leave first, heal, then find someone. Finding someone whilst you're dating is a conscious decision and if you do it. Doesnt matter the circumstances, you are a cheater.
My definition of MBing is different than yours. I consider it when a partner has idealized and fntaatizsed about breaking up with you for this person, and then they action that. I don’t think it matters how much time has passed after the breakup if that was their mindset.
But they have to loose emotional attraction first, only stay for sex or money till their grasp on the other branch is firm. Fantasizing is normal but not okay when your entertaining the idea and start with micro cheating.
I was in a relationship for 7 years with my ex-girlfriend last year she left me for another man, few months later came back ,then she left again with the same dude and few months came back last month she did it again ,we were engaged, i do love this woman, but i dont know how to deal with this situations, any help you can give me ?
