Come on, everyone is always complaining that she doesn't upload enough videos and now they complain because this is not elaborate enough. Christiana, I really enjoy simpler videos like this. Great job!
Thank you Daniel, I appreciate that :) And yes, this was just a simple idea, this it totally different from most of my projects. I mean, this isn't REALLY a project, if more like an experiment and a share of an idea that might become something interesting to you guys.
Brilliant! You don't need expensive power tools or fancy hard woods to make stuff. Anyone - anyone - can find materials and equipment to hand, get involved in crafts, develop skills, create. Thank you, Cristiana. You're an inspiration!
Cool! I made a cardboard stool a couple of years ago after seeing one on the net and it stood up well - it lasted over a year. Cardboard is really fun to work with. :)
U made a real project! There is concept, material, tool and dirty but skilled hands! A project is an idea that takes a body in real life, no matter how easy or not it was to realize. And your delicate and gracious story telling is just the sweetest taste of a perfect cooked recipe. Thank for sharing and delight us with ur creativity skills.... Btw, what a nice black hoodie, whe we will see it in the shop? ;) respects and hugs from Italy..
This looked fun so I made one, just less neat and tidy. Works pretty well at 20" tall by 12" wide. Nice extra shop seat, and this would be welcome when moving into a place: break down a cardboard box and give yourself a place to sit!
That was great - that's the ultimate upcycling project! In the US - there are cardboard recycling dumpsters for nearly every business, so there's definitely no shortage of materials. And yes, if you wanted some heavier duty stools, you could use plywood. Anyway, great video - and keep up the great work! A+
Double wall corrugated cardboard is surprisingly strong and very useful material to have around the place. You should gather together some weights and put it to the test, I think you would be surprised how much weight your stool could bear.
When I worked at a display company we designed all different types of chairs. Had to use double-wall to hold me lol now I just make things out of wood.
I love your hoodie, Cristiana! Your work is so phenomenal, and I appreciate quick little projects like these, so thank you for the awesome videos! Keep up the great work so I have stuff to look forward to! 💜💜💜 I am going to build this stool (:
yeh i think this would actually work better as a bedside table/laptop stand.. considering some people weigh more then the test subjects in this vid lol If i were to use it as a stool i would shorten it and use it as a foot stool - not standing on it tho just for things like putting on shoes or cutting nails outside lol
Awesome! I thought you were going to reinforce this before sitting on it,3 layers would probably support a bigger/heavier person!a weight test on the stool would be cool!
If people try this and stool fails... what you want to take note of is the corrugated thickness. This is triple wall CCB. Most corrugated you get is either single or double flute. If you have trouble finding triple flute, you can glue multi pieces together to make the thickness you desire. The best way is hotmelt or a glue gun.
In order to make it even stronger you should add another layer of cardboard to the seat and orientate the new layer so that the lines run perpendicular compared to the first layer.
nice trick... get someone else ass to sit there and tell to lift the feet off the floor ahhaha ! nice job, i can see this cut on the laser on 9mm ply and have them under my sofa for visitors!
I think the idea is that this project can be accessible to people with limited materials and want to make something. Yes, this video is a bit different, but it seems that Cris is trying out new things with the channel.

I actually need a couple of inexpensive stools for my new apartment, this is so awesome, I love all your work and amazing creativity and craftsmanship
Cardboard is so fun to work with, it's so quick and easy but surprisingly sturdy!

Now imagine it made with scrap pieces of plywood or steel! nice design, you could make a permanent stool like that out of anything.

I've watched most of your videos & I have to admit that was probably the most fun to watch. Keep it simple, short, & sweet. 👍🏼
I like this. It's inspirational to create things out of one's comfort zone. Just take what's there and try to build something.
Industriedesign, creativity, happiness, skill, funny, women power, sharp knife, circus, guest of the tried .... sooo cool THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
I've been watching your videos since yesterdad.
Your channel is amazing, congratulations.
Thanks for giving me inspiration!
Brilliance in simplicity, just like everything else you do! You've been an amazing help in my tiny-house-building process. Muito obrigado!

You are so creative. Love the project. (you work really fast)
Ooh that nice triple corrugated cardboard was just waiting to be turned into something :D I like what you did with it!
Thank you for being an inspiration. You've made a huge difference in my projects.
That's shocking and amazing! I'd definitely have to glue up some pieces to hold me.
Nice, I saw this design elsewhere but it nice to see that is sturdy enough with cardboard !!
Nice (y)
Well done I like the idea of flash projects
Quick and easy! Nice reuse of some heavy-duty Bosch cardboards. It gives me some ideas :-)
When I worked at a display company we designed all different types of chairs. Had to use double-wall to hold me lol now I just make things out of wood.
love flash project, I hope their more in future.
Really cool seeing someone else use cardboard, too!
lol i needed exactly this for my room. Thanks a lot :D

Brilliant! I think I'm gonna make one for my drum stool/throne :)
I love it. But I'm going to make mine out of plywood and use it for camping. I really like the flash project idea. Do some more.
Cool! It's a good bedside table too :-D

I like that circle cutter! I need to get one!
Awesome! I thought you were going to reinforce this before sitting on it,3 layers would probably support a bigger/heavier person!a weight test on the stool would be cool!
Christiana amazed by your chanel. I think you are doing a great job! Keep it up! obregado !
Hi there from Portugal(Coimbra)

Great suggestion, yes. The base would also gain a lot from having another layer glued to it
cool project cris😀
Great video 👍
Amazing! Make more cardboard stuff! Living room, dining set, bedroom...
Corrugated cardboard is pretty sturdy stuff.
Ehy where you have take that fantastic cutter compass???
I just bought it on a art and crafts supply store. Search for Circle cutter. Mine says Morn Sun - Circle Cutter 16100 in case you are interested
Found it on amazon. Thanks. 😊
thanks for sharing and taking the time out of your day to make and up loading video.
Pretty neat!
Thanks a lot for the great tutorial!
that's a nice hoodie you've got there ;O
Do you want one too? :D
Where did you get that compass to cut the cardboard? Could you provide the brand name? In USA we don't have many cool things like you do in Europe.

Thanks!
What layout square is that one? Did that beam compass have a cutter in it?

What a simple project and the function, simply brilliant! Greetings from my channel😄
Might be interesting to take this project and impregnate it with resin.
Do you have the measurements of each parts? (Legs, seat etc)

Please make a tour in your home!
Could you share the measurements, please?
Love it!
Where are the plans for this project? Can you upload them to
www.instructables.com/?
I think you should have used resin
I like you channel. Hopefully I don't take any of your bids 👌 no promises.
Can someone give me the measurements
😍
mmmmmm. new paper cutting tool sponsors
Not really. I bough it on a regular arts and crafts store. Did would there be a problem if I was getting sponsored?
Muy práctico pero no dicen las medidas
hino
que lindo!
I'm not sure this is Pat Lap proof...XD
Hahaha, i doubt if it can hold my 125 kg body, but a nice flashproject for normal people
Ahah, well, maybe not this one but if you glue three layers for example, I think it will work :)
I think I'll try to make one in 18 / 22mm mdf, that will work and also will be this handy. Party coming on, so they can try it.
Party on, Barrie.
where is the party?
I want to party
www.designersko.pl/kategoria/nowosci/sto-ek-st-stool
Nice idea but if you are not a bag of bones it's not a good idea
Then make it thicker?
why would anybody ever need that is beyond my comprehension
+kay486 : Cats love cardboard. You can have 3 for a cat-party.
kay486 for concerts, pic nics, outside stuff where you don't want to take heavy stuff. for putting stuff on. its pretty unexpensive and quick to make.
This video is not good at all , is just like having not what to post and just posting a peice of junk
I thought it was fun
I think the idea is that this project can be accessible to people with limited materials and want to make something. Yes, this video is a bit different, but it seems that Cris is trying out new things with the channel.
Etro thats just unkind. there is a def trends towards cardboard furniture. I think this was a fun cheap project
try to achieve at least half of what shes done so far and then we'll talk.
