      The illegality of killing another human being is an American moral. It’s not about religion. It’s about protecting the natural rights that a human has. A baby in the womb is a human. It has unique dna and it’s actually an innocent life believe it or not. But I’m glad your quick to blame the religious folks for being on the wrong side 😬

    These videos are so important to illustrate the problems we face, but they don't tell us what we can do to change things. We need a call to action, something that those who are watching can do to make a difference. Yes, those who care a lot about these issues will look into ways to protest and try to change the outcome, but the purpose of these videos is to reach out to people who don't already understand how much this will affect women and people with uteruses. The people this video is targeted at may not care enough to go research ways they can make a difference, but they might take a small action if Now This gave them a call to action or an opportunity where they could do something concrete that would make a difference. @NowThis, you are missing out on such a big opportunity by not providing viewers with a call to action!

      So here’s the thing. A pregnant mother has 10 fingers, 10 toes, 1 heart and 1 brain. The baby inside of her is not a body part. It is a human. It has unique dna made of partly by the mother. Now just because you are related to a human does not give you the right to kill that human. You can’t make a life and the kill that life. That’s not how the world works. Instead of respecting the right to kill an unborn baby how about we respect the natural rights that baby has (life liberty property… the whole point of America etc.) now that unborn baby might not have any property but you get my point

      @Robert Martin You want no responsibility? We are talking about human life. I'm absolutely sure you are thankful your life was preserved in the womb. Under the guise of 'bodily autonomy,' it's far too easy to discuss ending a life that isn't yours.

    • @monarchist1838
      @monarchist1838 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Robert Martin You really think it is acceptable to end an infant's life before it can properly begin? Do you really want 'bodily autonomy'? By supporting the surrender of a life? Does the life of the baby not count? Is their bodily autonomy not worth anything to you? I am certain you are grateful someone considered your life of value and allowed for you to be born.
      It is very interesting the term 'woman' suddenly has gained some relevance all of a sudden amongst the left. I thought the left preferred 'birthing people'? Didn't the Democrat approved next justice say there was no definition for a woman?

Surely my right to life is greater than your right to an organ that you don't need in order to survive? If you say no to that, then let's lower the ask: you give me your kidney for nine months. (And yes, double transplantation of kidneys is a thing that happens in the real world.)

      Jeshua, let me ask you this: Do you believe that the law should compel you to give me your kidney if I'll die without it? Surely my right to life is greater than your right to an organ that you don't need in order to survive? If you say no to that, then let's lower the ask: you give me your kidney for nine months. That should let me survive long enough to find a permanent donor, but if not then you still get your kidney back at that point even if it means I die. (And yes, double transplantation of kidneys is a thing that happens in the real world.)
      My answer to both of those questions is "No, that's insane. My right to life does not override your right to control your body and what is done to it." I suspect you agree with that and would feel no obligation to give me your kidney...except you're also saying that a fetus's right to life overrides the woman's right to control her body and what is done with it. You're asking her to donate, not just a kidney for 9 months, but *all* of her organs for 9 months.
      Pregnancy is a life-altering thing. It permanently changes a woman's body. Among other things, it can cause tearing that leads to permanent incontinence and, oh yes, maternal mortality in the USA is roughly 1 in 5000. It also drastically reduces or eliminates a woman's ability to work or pursue her normal activities. Would you be so quick to support forced birth if you were required to go through the same thing that your pregnant girlfriend/wife was? Suppose it was mandated that you had to wear weights strapped to your belly 24/7 for the duration of her pregnancy, you had to have water injected into your ankles every day, you had to take nausea-inducing pills for months, and if she died in birth then you would be immediately executed. If you aren't willing to undergo those things, why are you requiring that a woman should?
