You know a way to reflash the original firmware? And also reset to the point that not restart in that mode anymore. Because in my case wifi not work, at least don't found my network, but all others yes. My network is fine. All devices easily connected to it. Even older devices. I want to be able to restore to the initial firmware
I literally feel like a genius because of you, I watched your video on hold with Epson customer service after they told me I couldn't do anything to fix it and I am 2 months over my warranty so they said I had to send it to a technician and pay to get it replaced.

Thank you so very much! We had this printer for a little over a year and the warranty had run out. They updated the firmware and it was disabled. I looked all over the web in 2019 for an answer, but found nothing. It's been sitting since then. I just got it up and running again! Just trying to clean the printer heads to get it working well again. Much appreciated!!!!

My Epson WF-7710 printer is working fine (except needs deep clean of head). When I bought it used I updated the firmware from Epson. (I agree Epson never have anything new to offer in FE updates so no reason to do this.) When I first use Epson FW updater it said “Downgraded firmware (firmware cannot be updated).” But after trying a few different times it reported normal FW version and let me update it. Thanks a lot for this video, as for many here, it helped greatly. A question however, everytime the printer powers back on (after a power outage for instance), it starts in "jig mode". After using your trick, I'm back in the Japanese menu which is not a problem, but all my calibration is lost and I have to go through the printing heads alignment process all over again. Running a manual firmware update through usb connection doesn't work, it fails everytime to reboot the printer during the process, and sends me back to the recovery mode. Any advice ?

Today it is my time to say tank you very much indeed. Without this video I don't know how I could underpass this Epson's "technical treat" to their users. My Epson model is ET-2750 and it's WiFi name also changed without notice. "Add new printer" feature on Windows 10 was also required to enable printing on my notebook.
Mine defaults to that same place each and everytime i turn off then turn on the printer. Plus a red Flag check that says Inspection ON Initial Charge OFF

How to get out of printer inspection mode on a ET 4750, what's the code for it? It's not like for ET16500. Yesterday I somehow got stuck into it while trying to physically unclog the printer and now I can't get out of it neither with the recovery mode firmware, nor with wic reset downdrade (the wic tool gets not responding and doesn't find the printer at the end).

Kevin, this video taught me so much... thank you! I have a different printer model number... the ET-15000 and it is stuck in Printer Inspection Mode, Set Jig. I only have a home button and a help button along with the power button. I've tried firmware updates, but the inspection screen keeps coming back. I also tried holding the home and power buttons, and it takes me to a PIN entry screen, but there is no PIN for it. Please help me, I am pulling my hair out over this... thank you!!!
on my et-2750 there is no display at all.. if I remove power and leave it few seconds, then press the power button and plug the mains in, the blue power button lights up solide but no display at all. I have trried Home and power button together but no luck.. any ideas will be appreciated.
Hello Kevin, I have a follow up question... This solution fixed the printer mode issue, so Thank You!!! My problem now is that I need to run a power cleaning, and to do this you have power the unit off and Press 'help' & 'power' simultaneously to per clean. The problem is that when doing this, the printer will only return to printer mode, and not go to power clean mode. Might you have any ideas of an alternate way to get to power clean mode? Hello, it sort of worked but it later turned out that this manoeuvre had changed my Epson ET-2760 printer into a 2750 printer, including the picture in "Devices and Printers" and degraded the print and copy quality considerably. Also, the IP number had changed.Has anyone experienced anything similar, and has Kevin an answer? An even more urgent question: Why should anyone get stuck in Printer Mode in the first place? It happened to me after a maintenance session, head cleaning etc.

I have the same model and it works. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in. Press and hold the home button first then the power button. Keep holding and eventually, it should work.

Thank you very much. A simple firmware update made my printer non-functional, with the utterly unhelpful display message of Printer Mode / Set Jig / Push [OK] BT. The instructions in this video enabled my printer to function again. It now shows up as an ET-2750 instead of an ET-2760, which is very irritating.
This worked for me the first time this happened but there was a power outage last night and it went back into jig mode. It won't work this time. Helps please!

Sucks but you have to recalibrate the only jets and you have to use 2750 drivers and if you try and scan with the printer it goes hey wire Turing off again in 3 days to week
I can't even get mine to power down. It just says EPSON PRINTER Recovery Mode. Pressing and holding the home button and then the power button does NOTHING. I have held them both mfor over a minute and nothing changes. Any suggestions?

First many thanks for this solution! I've also had this issue. You'll have to reline the printerhead. For me it took several attempts to get it right. But after 7 alignements it is now it perfect. Hope it will help.

Everytime Epson updates the software it reverts back to this mode and every time I have to reference this video - THANK YOU!

Check the WiFi card. It may be a malfunction card. There is a WiFi card attached to the printer’s main board... Just a guess.
